Description
(i)平面であり、第1の表面及び第2の表面を含む強化構成部分であって、
(a)強化構成部分の第1の表面から第2の表面へと伸長する複数の開口部を含み、第1の開口部面密度を有する、中心領域、
(b)中心領域を囲み、開口部を欠いている、内側辺縁領域、及び
(c)強化構成部分の第1の表面から強化構成部分の第2の表面へと伸長する複数の開口部を含み、第2の開口部面密度を有し、内側辺縁領域を囲む、外側辺縁領域
を含む、強化構成部分、
(ii)イオン伝導性材料、並びに
(iii)封止材料
を含み、
イオン伝導性材料が、強化構成部分の中心領域において各開口部を少なくとも部分的に充填し、封止材料が、強化構成部分の外側辺縁領域において各開口部を充填する、
強化膜封止アセンブリを提供する。
(i)白金族金属(白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、イリジウム及びオスミウム)、
(ii)金又は銀、
(iii)卑金属
又はこれらの金属若しくはそれらの酸化物のうちの1以上を含む合金若しくは混合物から選択される。好ましい電解触媒金属は白金であり、これは、他の貴金属又は卑金属と合金できる。電解触媒が担持触媒である場合、担体材料上の金属粒子のローディングは、好適には、得られる電解触媒の質量の10〜90質量%、好ましくは15〜75質量%の範囲である。
(i)本発明の強化膜封止アセンブリは、2つのガス拡散電極(1つのアノード及び1つのカソード)の間に挟まれていてもよい。
(ii)一方の側面に触媒成分を有する本発明の触媒被覆強化膜封止アセンブリは、ガス拡散層とガス拡散電極との間に挟まれていてもよく、ガス拡散層は、触媒成分を有する触媒被覆強化膜封止アセンブリの側面と接触する。又は、
(iii)両方の側面に触媒成分を有する本発明の触媒被覆強化膜封止アセンブリは、2つのガス拡散層の間に挟まれていてもよい。
Claims (9)
- (i)平面であり、第1の表面及び第2の表面を含む強化構成部分であって、
(a)強化構成部分の第1の表面から第2の表面へと伸長する複数の開口部を含み、第1の開口部面密度を有する、中心領域、
(b)中心領域を囲み、開口部を欠いている、内側辺縁領域、及び
(c)強化構成部分の第1の表面から強化構成部分の第2の表面へと伸長する複数の開口部を含み、第2の開口部面密度を有し、内側辺縁領域を囲む、外側辺縁領域
を含む、強化構成部分、
(ii)イオン伝導性材料、並びに
(iii)封止材料
を含み、
イオン伝導性材料が、強化構成部分の中心領域において各開口部を少なくとも部分的に充填し、封止材料が、強化構成部分の外側辺縁領域において各開口部を充填する、
強化膜封止アセンブリであって、
第2の開口部面密度が、第1の開口部面密度未満である、強化膜封止アセンブリを含む燃料電池又は電解槽。 - イオン伝導性材料が、強化構成部分の第1及び第2の表面のうちの少なくとも1つと同一平面上にある、請求項1に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- イオン伝導性材料が、強化構成部分の中心領域において各開口部を本質的に充填する、請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- イオン伝導性材料の層が、中心領域において強化構成部分の第1及び第2の表面の一方又は両方上に存在し、そこで、イオン伝導性材料が、強化構成部分の第1及び/又は第2の表面と同一平面上にある、請求項2又は3に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- イオン伝導性材料の層が、内側辺縁領域にわたって部分的又は完全に伸長する、請求項4に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- 封止構成部分が、外側辺縁領域において強化構成部分の第1及び第2の表面の一方又は両方上に存在する、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- 触媒強化膜封止アセンブリを含む、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- 強化膜封止電極アセンブリを含む、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の燃料電池又は電解槽。
- プロトン交換膜燃料電池である、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の燃料電池。
