Description
図1は、本開示の技術思想を説明するための図である。図1を参照して、ある局面において、ビーコン装置100Aと情報処理端末200とが無線通信を行なう。ビーコン装置100Aは、所定の送信間隔パターンに従いビーコン信号を情報処理端末200に送信する。
図2は、実施形態1に従う無線通信システム1の構成を模式的に表すブロック図である。図2を参照して、無線通信システム1は、ビーコン装置100と情報処理端末200とを有する。なお、図2に示される例において無線通信システム1は1台のビーコン装置100を有する構成であるが、複数のビーコン装置100を有してもよい。
ビーコン装置100は、通信回路110と、記憶装置120とを有する。
図3は、送信間隔パターンを説明するための図である。図3(A)は、送信パターンテーブル124のデータ構造の一例を表す。図3を参照して、送信パターンテーブル124は、インデックス番号と、送信間隔パターンと、暗号キーとを互いに関連付けて複数保持する。
図2を再び参照して、情報処理端末200は通信回路210と、制御装置220と、ディスプレイ230と、記憶装置240とを含む。
図4は、ビーコン装置100が送信するビーコン信号のデータ構造の一例を表す。図4に示されるビーコン信号は、アドバタイジングパケットであって、1バイトのプリアンブル(Preamble)、4バイトのアクセスアドレス(Access Address)、プロトコルデータユニット(PDU:Protocol Data Unit)、および3バイトのCRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check)コードを含む。プリアンブルは、パケットの検出と受信タイミングの同期を取るために用いられる。アクセスアドレスは、パケット種別を示す。なお、アクセスアドレスがアドバタイジングパケットを示す場合、これに固定値が入力される。
次に、図5を用いて、情報処理端末200がビーコン装置100を認証する処理について説明する。本開示において、「認証」処理は、ビーコン装置100が正当な装置であるか不当な装置であるかを確かめる処理を表す。
実施形態2に従う無線通信システム1は、通信チャネルを利用して、さらに悪意の第三者によるビーコン信号のなりすましを抑制する。なお、実施形態2に従う無線通信システム1のハードウェア構成は、実施形態1で説明した無線通信システム1のハードウェア構成と同じである。
上記の実施形態において、無線通信システム1は、ビーコン信号の送信間隔パターンに基づいて、ビーコン装置100を認証するように構成されている。実施形態3に従う無線通信システム8は、ビーコン信号の送信間隔パターンを用いてデータの送受信を行なう。
図8は、実施形態3に従う無線通信システム8の構成の一例を表す。無線通信システム8は、情報処理端末80Aおよび80Bを含む。
図9は、情報処理端末80A(80B)の構成の一例を表すブロック図である。以下、情報処理端末80Aおよび80Bを総称して、「情報処理端末80」とも言う。
図10は、送信パターンテーブル944のデータ構造の一例を表す。図10を参照して、送信パターンテーブル944は、インデックス番号と、送信間隔パターンと、文字列とを互いに関連付けて複数保持している。
次に、図11を用いて、情報処理端末80Aと情報処理端末80Bとの間における通信処理について説明する。図11は、無線通信システム8における通信処理を説明するためのシーケンス図である。なお、図11に示される処理は、情報処理端末80Aおよび80Bがアプリケーション942を読み込んで実行することにより、実現される。
上記の例では、情報処理端末80は、ユーザから文字列の選択を受け付けた後に、自動的に送信間隔パターンに従いビーコン信号を他の情報処理端末80に送信するように構成されている。
Claims (7)
- ビーコン装置と前記ビーコン装置と無線通信可能に構成される情報処理端末とを備え、
前記ビーコン装置は、所定の送信間隔パターンに従いビーコン信号を前記情報処理端末に送信するための第1通信回路を含み、
前記情報処理端末は、
前記ビーコン装置から前記ビーコン信号を受信するための第2通信回路と、
前記所定の送信間隔パターンを記憶するための第1記憶装置と、
前記第2通信回路によって受信される前記ビーコン信号の受信間隔パターンと、前記第1記憶装置に記憶された所定の送信間隔パターンとを比較して前記ビーコン装置を認証する制御装置とを含み、
前記ビーコン装置は、複数の送信間隔パターンの各々と、当該パターンを識別するパターン識別情報とを関連付けたテーブルを記憶するための第2記憶装置をさらに含み、
前記第1通信回路は、前記第2記憶装置に記憶される複数の送信間隔パターンのうち1の送信間隔パターンに従い、当該1の送信間隔パターンに関連付けられるパターン識別情報を含む前記ビーコン信号を前記情報処理端末に送信するように構成され、
前記第1記憶装置は、前記テーブルを記憶しており、
前記制御装置は、
前記第1記憶装置に記憶される前記テーブルを参照して、受信した前記ビーコン信号に含まれるパターン識別情報に対応する送信間隔パターンを特定し、
前記特定した送信間隔パターンと、前記受信間隔パターンとを比較して前記ビーコン装置を認証するように構成される、無線通信システム。 - 前記制御装置は、前記所定の送信間隔パターンから定まるタイムアウト期間が経過するまで、前記所定の送信間隔パターンから定まる所定個数の連続して受信する前記ビーコン信号の受信間隔パターンと前記所定の送信間隔パターンとを比較して前記ビーコン装置を認証するように構成される、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記第1通信回路は、前記ビーコン信号の送信間隔パターンを、前記第2記憶装置に記憶される複数の送信間隔パターンのうちの第1パターンから第2パターンに切り替え可能に構成される、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記第1および第2記憶装置に記憶される前記テーブルは、複数の前記パターン識別情報の各々と通信チャネルとをさらに関連付けて保持し、
前記第1通信回路は、前記ビーコン信号を送信する通信チャネルを、当該ビーコン信号に含まれるパターン識別情報に対応する通信チャネルに設定し、
前記制御装置は、
前記第1記憶装置に記憶される前記テーブルを参照して、受信したビーコン信号に含まれるパターン識別情報に対応する通信チャネルを特定し、
前記特定した通信チャネルと、前記ビーコン信号を受信した通信チャネルとを比較して前記ビーコン装置を認証するように構成される、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記第1および第2記憶装置に記憶される前記テーブルは、複数の前記パターン識別情報の各々と文字列とをさらに関連付けて保持し、
前記第1通信回路は、前記第2記憶装置に記憶される複数の送信間隔パターンのうち1の送信間隔パターンに従い、当該1の送信間隔パターンに関連付けられるパターン識別情報に対応する文字列で暗号化されたビーコン信号を前記情報処理端末に送信するように構成され、
前記制御装置は、
前記第1記憶装置に記憶された前記テーブルを参照して、受信した前記ビーコン信号に含まれるパターン識別情報に対応する文字列を特定し、
前記特定した文字列により前記受信したビーコン信号を復号するように構成される、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記第1通信回路は、前記情報処理端末から予め定められた信号を受信した場合に、前記所定の送信間隔パターンの予め定められたタイミングを起点として前記ビーコン信号を前記情報処理端末に送信するように構成される、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記情報処理端末は、ディスプレイをさらに備え、
前記第1および第2記憶装置に記憶される前記テーブルは、複数の前記パターン識別情報の各々と文字列とをさらに関連付けて保持し、
前記制御装置は、
前記第1記憶装置に記憶された前記テーブルを参照して、受信した前記ビーコン信号に含まれるパターン識別情報に対応する文字列を特定し、
前記特定した文字列を前記ディスプレイに出力する、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。
