Claims (21)
- 蒸気供給デバイスのためのアセンブリであって、
原料液体を気化するための蒸気発生器と、
リザーバから前記蒸気発生器に原料液体を送達するための液体導管と、
前記蒸気発生器と、前記リザーバからの原料液体を受ける前記液体導管の一部分との間の前記液体導管の少なくとも一部と液体移送接触状態にある液体捕捉要素であって、前記液体導管の毛細管力よりも低い毛細管力をもたらすための吸収性構造を備える、液体捕捉要素と
を備えるアセンブリ。 - 前記液体導管の毛細管孔の平均サイズが、前記吸収性構造の毛細管孔の平均サイズよりも小さい、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記液体導管が、多孔性材料から形成されたウィッキング要素を備える、請求項1又は2に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記吸収性構造が前記多孔性材料よりも低密度である、請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記吸収性構造が前記多孔性材料よりも高い多孔度である、請求項3又は4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記液体導管が少なくとも一つの毛細管チャネルを備える、請求項1又は2に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記毛細管チャネルが1本以上の管を備える、請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記毛細管チャネルが、当該アセンブリの壁に設けられた1本以上のスロットを備える、請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記吸収性構造が吸収性材料によって設けられている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記吸収性材料が、天然スポンジ、合成スポンジ、多孔性セラミック、詰め綿、ガラス繊維詰め物、ウール、多孔性プラスチック、多孔性ポリマー繊維及び不織繊維のうちの一つ以上である、請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記吸収性構造が、固体材料から形成された1本以上の毛細管チャネルによって設けられている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記蒸気発生器が加熱要素を備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記加熱要素が、前記液体導管の周りに又は前記液体導管内に配置された1本以上の電気抵抗性のワイヤを備える、請求項12に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記加熱要素が、電気抵抗性のメッシュである、請求項12に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記液体捕捉要素が、前記蒸気発生器及び前記液体導管を少なくとも部分的に取り囲んでいる、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記蒸気発生器及び前記液体導管を収容するチャンバの一つ以上の壁が前記吸収性構造から形成されている、請求項15に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記液体捕捉要素が支持される支持構造内に前記蒸気発生器及び前記液体導管が配置されている、請求項15に記載のアセンブリ。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリと、原料液体を保持するためのリザーバとを備える、蒸気供給デバイスのためのカートリッジアセンブリ。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ又は請求項18に記載のカートリッジアセンブリを備える、蒸気供給デバイス。
- 蒸気供給デバイスのためのアトマイザアセンブリであって、
原料液体を気化するための気化器と、
リザーバから前記気化器に原料液体を送達するための液体送達機構と、
前記リザーバの出口と前記気化器との間で前記液体送達機構と接触する吸収性のバッファ要素であって、前記液体送達機構よりも前記原料液体に対する親水性が低いバッファ要素と
を備えるアトマイザアセンブリ。 - 蒸気供給デバイスにおけるリザーバから漏出した原料液体を捕捉するための方法であって、
リザーバから蒸気発生器に原料液体を送達するよう構成された液体導管の少なくとも一部と液体移送接触状態となるように液体捕捉要素を配置することを含み、
前記液体導管の前記一部が、前記蒸気発生器と、前記リザーバからの原料液体を受ける前記液体導管の一部分との間にあり、前記液体捕捉要素が、前記液体導管の毛細管力よりも低い毛細管力をもたらす吸収性構造を備える、方法。
