図9は、本実施形態に係る表示装置の構成を説明する断面図を示す。表示装置200は、第1実施形態に係る表示装置と比べると、複数のタッチ電極と、複数の接続配線108eとの接続部が異なっている。表示装置200においては、第1保護層126の開口部126aに、複数のタッチ電極の材料とは異なる導電性材料が設けられている。当該導電性材料としては、導電性ペースト127を用いることができる。複数のタッチ電極の各々は、導電性ペースト127を介して複数の配線のいずれかに接続される。

- 基板の一表面に設けられた回路層と、
前記回路層の上層に配列された表示素子と、
前記表示素子の上層に設けられた封止層と、
前記封止層の上層に設けられた保護層と、
前記保護層の上層に設けられたタッチ電極層と、
前記回路層の上層且つ前記封止層の外側に配列された複数の接続端子とを備え、
前記回路層は、各々が前記複数の接続端子のいずれかに接続された複数の接続配線を有し、

前記開口部は、前記第1隔壁よりも外側に設けられる、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記複数の表示素子の各々は、前記基板側から積層された第1電極、発光層及び第2電極を有し、
前記第1隔壁は、前記第1電極及び前記発光層の間の層に設けられ、且つ前記第1電極の周縁を被覆する、請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記封止層は、前記基板側から積層された第1無機絶縁層、第1有機絶縁層及び第2無機絶縁層を有し、
前記第1有機絶縁層は、両面及び端部が前記第1無機絶縁層及び前記第2無機絶縁層に被覆され、前記複数の表示素子に重畳し、且つ端部が前記第1隔壁及び前記第2隔壁の間に配置される、請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記開口部に設けられた導電性ペーストを更に備え、
前記複数のタッチ電極の各々は、前記導電性ペーストを介して前記複数の接続配線のいずれかに接続される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記回路層は、各々が前記複数の表示素子のいずれかに接続された複数の画素回路を含む、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記開口部は、テーパー形状を有する、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
