Claims (6)
- シリカガラスからなるコアと、該コアを取り囲み前記コアより屈折率が低いシリカガラスからなるクラッドとを備え、
前記コアは、エルビウム、アルミニウムおよびカルシウムを含み、
前記クラッドは、純シリカガラスまたはフッ素を含むシリカガラスであり、
前記コアにおけるカルシウムの濃度は、前記コアの中心に近いほど大きい傾向を有し、
前記コアにおけるエルビウムの最大濃度をMaxErとし、前記コアの半径の1/3の半径のコア中央領域におけるエルビウムの最小濃度をMinErとしたときに、比MinEr/MaxErが0.5以上である、
光ファイバ。 - 前記コアは、平均濃度50wt ppm以上5000wt ppm以下のカルシウムを含む、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアは、平均濃度50wt ppm以上1000wt ppm以下のカルシウムを含む、

請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記比MinEr/MaxErが0.8以上である、
請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。
