Description
Claims (7)
- 立体的な造形物を造形する造形装置であって、
造形の材料を吐出する吐出ヘッドと、
予め設定された主走査方向へ前記造形物に対して相対的に移動しつつ前記造形の材料を吐出する主走査動作を前記吐出ヘッドに行わせる主走査駆動部と、
前記造形の材料が積層される方向である積層方向へ前記造形物に対して相対的に前記吐出ヘッドを移動させる積層方向駆動部と、
前記吐出ヘッド、前記主走査駆動部、及び前記積層方向駆動部の動作を制御することにより、前記積層方向へ前記造形の材料を積層して行う造形の動作を実行させる制御部と
を備え、
前記造形の材料で形成される層を複数積層することで積層造形法で前記造形物を造形し、かつ、それぞれの前記層について、複数回の前記主走査動作で形成し、
前記制御部は、前記積層方向と直交する面内の各位置に対し、前記吐出ヘッドに、複数回の前記主走査動作を行わせ、
前記造形の材料を吐出すべき領域に対して一回の前記主走査動作で単位面積あたりに前記吐出ヘッドから吐出する前記造形の材料の量を単位面積吐出量と定義した場合、少なくとも一部の前記層の形成時において、一つの前記層を形成するために行う複数回の前記主走査動作のうち、一部の回の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量を、他の回の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量よりも少なくすることを特徴とする造形装置。 - 前記層を平坦化する平坦化手段を更に備え、
前記平坦化手段は、少なくとも一部の前記層の形成時において、前記層を形成するために行う複数回の前記主走査動作のうちの少なくとも最後の主走査動作において、前記層を平坦化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の造形装置。 - 少なくとも一部の前記層の形成時において、前記層を形成するために行う複数回の前記主走査動作のうちの最初の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量を、前記最後の主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量よりも少なくすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の造形装置。
- 少なくとも一部の前記層の形成時において、それぞれの前記層を形成するために行う複数回の前記主走査動作のうちの前記最後の主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量について、他のいずれかの回の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量よりも多くすることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の造形装置。
- 前記それぞれの前記層を形成するために行う前記複数回の主走査動作のうち、前記最後の主走査動作以外の全ての回の前記主走査動作について、前記単位面積吐出量を同じにすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の造形装置。
- 前記それぞれの前記層を形成するために行う前記複数回の主走査動作について、先に行う前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量を、後に行う前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量よりも少なくすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の造形装置。
- 立体的な造形物を造形する造形方法であって、
造形の材料を吐出する吐出ヘッドに、
予め設定された主走査方向へ前記造形物に対して相対的に移動しつつ前記造形の材料を吐出する主走査動作と、
前記造形の材料が積層される方向である積層方向へ前記造形物に対して相対的に移動する動作と
を行わせることで、前記積層方向へ前記造形の材料で形成される層を複数積層する積層造形法で造形の動作を実行させ、
かつ、前記積層方向と直交する面内の各位置に対し、前記吐出ヘッドに、複数回の前記主走査動作を行わせ、更に、それぞれの前記層について、複数回の前記主走査動作で形成し、
前記造形の材料を吐出すべき領域に対して一回の前記主走査動作で単位面積あたりに前記吐出ヘッドから吐出する前記造形の材料の量を単位面積吐出量と定義した場合、少なくとも一部の前記層の形成時において、一つの前記層を形成するために行う複数回の前記主走査動作のうち、一部の回の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量を、他の回の前記主走査動作における前記単位面積吐出量よりも少なくすることを特徴とする造形方法。
