Description
この場合、第2制御信号のデューティ比を、点灯モード以外の制御(動作パラメータの設定など)に用いることが可能となる。
光源の異常検出には、応答遅れがつきまとう。第3点灯モードでは、輝度の上昇速度を遅くすることで、応答遅れの間の光源の輝度の上昇幅を小さくできるため、異常が生じていた場合に、より小さい輝度で光源を消灯できる。
制御部302は、2本の制御ライン12,14を介して第1制御信号Sig1および第2制御信号Sig2を受け、第1制御信号Sig1および第2制御信号Sig2にもとづいて、消灯モードおよび複数の点灯モードのうちひとつを選択する。駆動部310は、制御部302が選択したモードにしたがい、光源ユニット200を駆動する。
この場合、第3コンパレータCOMP3の出力信号S43がハイレベルとなる。信号S43は調光回路370の充電回路374に作用し、キャパシタ372への充電電流量を減少させる。これにより、電圧VSSの上昇速度が遅くなる。
第2コンパレータCOMP2、第3コンパレータCOMP3の出力信号S42,S43が両方、ローレベルとなる。論理ゲート364は、信号S42,S43が両方ローレベルとなると、第1スイッチ362をオンする。論理ゲート364はNORゲートであってもよい。
第2コンパレータCOMP2の出力S42がハイレベルとなる。これにより、ソレノイド駆動回路316がアクティブとなり、アクチュエータ206が通電状態となり、第1点灯モードとなる。
第1コンパレータCOMP1の出力S41がハイレベルとなる。これにより第2スイッチ378がオンとなり、調光回路370の出力VSSが瞬時にゼロとなり、光源202が消灯する。
Claims (8)
- 車両用灯具に使用される光源ユニットを制御する点灯回路であって、
2本の制御ラインを介して第1制御信号および第2制御信号を受け、前記第1制御信号および前記第2制御信号にもとづいて、消灯モードおよび複数の点灯モードのうちひとつを選択する制御部と、
前記制御部が選択したモードにしたがい、前記光源ユニットを駆動する駆動部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記第1制御信号および前記第2制御信号の少なくとも一方が非パルス信号であるとき、前記消灯モードを選択し、
前記第1制御信号および前記第2制御信号が両方、パルス信号であるとき、前記第1制御信号と前記第2制御信号のデューティ比の組み合わせにもとづいて、前記複数の点灯モードのひとつを選択することを特徴とする点灯回路。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1制御信号のデューティ比が第1範囲に含まれるとき第1点灯モードを選択し、前記第1制御信号のデューティ比が第2範囲に含まれるとき第2点灯モードを選択することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点灯回路。
- 前記光源ユニットは、光源およびアクチュエータを含み、
前記第1点灯モードと前記第2点灯モードとで前記アクチュエータの状態が切りかえられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の点灯回路。 - 前記第2点灯モードにおいて、前記第2制御信号のデューティ比が第1範囲に含まれるとき前記光源は点灯し、前記第2制御信号のデューティ比が第2範囲に含まれるとき前記光源は消灯することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の点灯回路。
- 前記第1点灯モードにおいて、前記駆動部は、前記光源を、徐変点灯、徐変消灯し、
前記駆動部は、前記第1制御信号のデューティ比が、前記第1範囲と隣接する第3範囲に含まれるとき、前記光源を瞬時に消灯することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の点灯回路。 - 前記複数の点灯モードは、第3点灯モードをさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記第1制御信号のデューティ比が第4範囲に含まれるとき、前記第3点灯モードを選択し、
前記第3点灯モードにおいて、前記駆動部は、前記第1点灯モードよりも遅い速度で前記光源を点灯させることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の点灯回路。 - 前記駆動部は、
前記光源ユニットの光源に駆動電流を供給するスイッチングコンバータと、
前記駆動電流の経路上に設けられた保護スイッチと、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記第1制御信号が非パルス信号であるとき、前記駆動電流の指令値を変化させて前記光源を消灯し、前記第2制御信号が非パルス信号であるとき、前記保護スイッチをオフすることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の点灯回路。 - 光源を含む光源ユニットと、
前記光源ユニットを駆動する請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の点灯回路と、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用灯具。
