Description
実施形態1に係る急速充電装置1について説明する。急速充電装置1は、蓄電池10を急速に充電するものである。本実施形態では、急速充電装置1は、電気自動車(EV)やプラグインハイブリッドカー(PHEV;Plug−in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)、ハイブリッド電気自動車(HEV;Hybrid Electric Vehicle)等の車両2に搭載される蓄電池10を充電する例について説明する。以下、急速充電装置1について詳細に説明する。
急速充電装置1は、回生制動の場合にモータジェネレータ5bにより回生電圧を発生し、コンバータ5cにより回生電圧を昇圧して蓄電池10に電力を充電してもよい。
次に、実施形態2に係る急速充電装置1Aについて説明する。実施形態2に係る急速充電装置1Aは、図4に示すように、各電池モジュール11の間の電位差を調整する電圧調整部40を備える点で実施形態1と異なる。なお、実施形態2は、実施形態1と同様の構成には同一の符号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。
次に、実施形態3に係る急速充電装置1Bについて説明する。実施形態3に係る急速充電装置1Bは、図6に示すように、各電池モジュール11間の電位差を調整する電圧調整部40を備える点で実施形態1と異なる。なお、実施形態3は、実施形態1と同様の構成には同一の符号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。
電圧調整部40は、追加充電を行う追加充電部42として機能する例について説明したが、これに限定されない。電圧調整部40は、放電を行う放電部として機能してもよい。この場合、放電部は、第一電池モジュール11A又は第二電池モジュール11Bに接続され、第一電池モジュール11A又は第二電池モジュール11Bの電圧が高い方に放電を行うことにより、電位差を基準値以下に調整する。

Claims (4)
- 電力を蓄電する第一及び第二電池モジュールと、
前記第一電池モジュールの陽極に接続される第一接点と、前記第一電池モジュールの陰極に接続される第二接点と、前記第二電池モジュールの陽極に接続される第三接点とを有し、前記第三接点を前記第一接点又は前記第二接点に切り替え接続する第一スイッチと、
前記第一電池モジュールの陰極に接続される第四接点と、前記第二電池モジュールの陰極に接続される第五接点とを有し、前記第四接点を前記第五接点と接続する接続状態と遮断状態とを切り替える第二スイッチと、
前記第一スイッチ及び前記第二スイッチの接続を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
充電の場合には、前記第一スイッチの第二接点と前記第一スイッチの第三接点とを接続し、かつ、前記第二スイッチを前記遮断状態とすることで、第一電池モジュールの陰極と第二電池モジュールの陽極とを直列に接続した電池モジュール直列回路を形成し、前記第一及び第二電池モジュールを充電する充電器を前記電池モジュール直列回路に接続可能とし、
放電の場合には、前記第一スイッチの第一接点と前記第一スイッチの第三接点とを接続し、かつ、前記第二スイッチの第四接点と前記第二スイッチの第五接点とを接続することで、第一電池モジュールの陽極と第二電池モジュールの陽極とを接続すると共に第一電池モジュールの陰極と第二電池モジュールの陰極とを接続した電池モジュール並列回路を形成し、負荷部を前記電池モジュール並列回路に接続可能とすることを特徴とする急速充電装置。 - 前記第一電池モジュールと前記第二電池モジュールとの間に電位差がある場合、前記電位差を予め設定された基準値以下に調整する電圧調整部を備える請求項1に記載の急速充電装置。
- 前記電圧調整部は、
前記第一電池モジュール又は前記第二電池モジュールの一方に追加充電及び放電を行うことにより、前記電位差を前記基準値以下に調整する追加充放電部を含む請求項2に記載の急速充電装置。 - 前記電圧調整部は、
前記第一電池モジュール又は前記第二電池モジュールの電圧が低い方に追加充電を行うことにより、前記電位差を前記基準値以下に調整する追加充電部と、
前記第一電池モジュールの陽極に接続される第六接点と、前記第二電池モジュールの陽極に接続される第七接点と、前記追加充電部の一方側に接続される第八接点とを有し、前記第八接点を前記第六接点又は前記第七接点に切り替え接続する第一スイッチと、前記第一電池モジュールの陰極に接続される第九接点と、前記第二電池モジュールの陰極に接続される第十接点と、前記追加充電部の他方側に接続される第十一接点とを有し、前記第十一接点を前記第九接点又は前記第十接点に切り替え接続する第二スイッチとを有する切替部と、
を含む請求項2に記載の急速充電装置。
