Claims (5)
- 原料ゴムと複数種類の非加硫系配合剤とからなるゴム材料を密閉型混練機により混練するゴム材料の混練方法において、
前記密閉型混練機の混練室に冷却媒体を投入して前記混練室内の温度を低下させ、次いで、投入した前記冷却媒体によって前記混練室に生じる水分量に応じて含水量を予め減量調整した少なくとも1種類の前記非加硫系配合剤を含む一部の前記非加硫系配合剤を先行して前記混練室に投入し、前記混練室に内設されたロータを回転させることにより撹拌し、次いで、前記原料ゴムと残りの種類の前記非加硫系配合剤を前記混練室に投入して前記ロータを回転させることにより前記ゴム材料を所定の温度範囲に維持して混練することを特徴とするゴム材料の混練方法。 - 前記非加硫系配合剤にシリカおよびカップリング剤が含まれていて、シリカを前記含水量を減量調整した非加硫系配合剤として、このシリカおよびカップリング剤を先行して前記混練室に投入する請求項1に記載のゴム材料の混練方法。
- 前記冷却媒体として、水、氷またはドライアイスを用いる請求項1または2に記載のゴム材料の混練方法。
- 前記冷却媒体と、前記非加硫系配合剤とを別々の投入部から前記混練室に投入する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のゴム材料の混練方法。
- 混練室に内設されたロータを有して、原料ゴムと複数種類の非加硫系配合剤とからなるゴム材料を、前記ロータを回転することにより前記混練室で混練する密閉型混練機を備えたゴム材料の混練装置において、
前記混練室に冷却媒体を投入する冷媒投入機構と、含水量調整機構とを備えて、前記混練室に投入される前記冷却媒体によって前記混練室に生じる水分量に応じて、前記非加硫系配合剤の少なくとも1種類に対して、前記含水量調整機構によりその含水量が予め減量調整され、前記冷却媒体が前記混練室に投入されることにより前記混練室内の温度を低下させ、次いで、含水量が予め減量調整された前記非加硫系配合剤を含む一部の前記非加硫系配合剤が先行して前記混練室に投入されて、前記ロータを回転させることにより撹拌され、その後、前記原料ゴムと残りの種類の前記非加硫系配合剤が前記混練室に投入されて前記ロータを回転させることにより、前記ゴム材料が所定の温度範囲に維持して混練される構成にしたことを特徴とするゴム材料の混練装置。
