本発明の機能性部材は基材と粒子材料と接着層とをもつ。接着層は基材と粒子材料とを接着する部材である。
粒子材料をセラミックス粉末や基材に結合させる方法(コロイダルシリカにより接着する方法)は、付着工程と、加熱工程と、必要に応じて噴霧乾燥工程、その他の工程を有する方法が例示できる。
・試験試料(機能性部材)の調製
ビタミンCを担持した機能性部材を作成した。機能性部材はセラミックス(コージェライト)からなる基材(多孔質、ハニカム形状)のに機能性材料としてのビタミンC〔アスコルビン酸〕を含浸乾燥させることで作成した。ビタミンCの量は基材の質量を基準として5%となるように調節した。得られたビタミンC担持機能性部材を比較例1の試験試料とした。
実施例及び比較例1の試験試料について、それぞれ空気を1.0m3/分(25℃、相対湿度40%、55%、70%の3条件)で流通させたときのビタミンC放出量を経時的に測定した。測定は試験開始から1月毎に6時間だけ試験試料を通過した空気を水100mLにてバブリングし溶解したビタミンCの量を定量することで行った。ビタミンCの定量はDPPHを用いた抗酸化能の強さの測定にて行った。結果を表1及び図1〜3に示す。
実施例、比較例1及び2の機能性部材を3台の市販の加湿器(送風機を備えるもの)の送風口の流路に配設した。それぞれの加湿器を室温25℃,6畳空間で、湿度60%になるように継続的に運転した状態で1時間経過させて雰囲気を安定化させた。更に機能性部材を配設せずに加湿器だけを運転させた雰囲気を参照試験とした。
実施例、比較例1及び2の機能性部材を3台の市販の除湿器(送風機を備えるもの)の送風口の流路に配設した。また、それらの機能性部材を配設しない除湿もそのまま用いた。
・試験試料(機能性部材)の調製
担持するPtの量を変えたこと以外は上述の実施例の試験試料と同様の方法にて試験試料を作成した。担持するPtの量は、Ptを100ppmの濃度で含有する白金ナノコロイド溶液を、含有するアスコルビン酸(ビタミンC)の質量を基準として、0%(試験試料1)、0.01%(試験試料2)、0.10%(試験試料3)、1.00%(試験試料4)とした。
試験試料1〜4についてそれぞれ100mLの水中にアスコルビン酸の濃度が5ppmになるように分散させた分散液を調製し、その液中にエアレーションポンプを用いて空気を流入させた。その後、24時間毎に液をサンプリングして抗酸価値を測定した。抗酸価値の測定は上述の試験と同様の方法にてビーカー内のアスコルビン酸濃度をDPPH試薬を用いて行った。
実施例の除湿器と比較例1の除湿器とを用いて試験を行った。それぞれの除湿器を内容積1立方米の試験ボックス中にて稼働させてそれぞれの除湿器から排出される空気で試験ボックス内を充満させた状態で、試験ボックス内から空気を吸引し純水中を通過させることで機能性部材から放出される成分を捕集した。成分の捕集は1回3時間を1日3回を10日間行った(計90時間)。放出した成分を捕集した液を実施例及び比較例1の試験液とした。なお、試験ボックスは完全に密閉されてはおらず、また、同じ部屋にて試験を行っていることから、互いの空気は幾らか混ざり合っているものと推測される。

測定項目を白金(Pt)とし、島津製作所製、Agilent 7500ceにて測定を行った。
ビタミンCは実施例の試験液が342μg/mL、比較例1の試験液209μg/mLであった。
Claims (2)
- 基材と、前記基材に表面に少なくとも一部が露出するように配設される、ビタミンCからなる機能性材料と、体積平均粒径が1〜300nmの白金から構成され、前記機能性材料の表面に少なくとも配設される粒子材料と、を有する機能性部材と、
前記機能性部材が空気の流路に配設された送風機構と、
をもつ衣類乾燥機用又は布団乾燥装置用であって、ビタミンCが放出可能な送風機。 - 前記基材は体積平均粒径が10μm以下の粒子を一体化したものである請求項1に記載の送風機。
