Claims (15)
- 複数のゲート線と、複数のデータ線と、前記ゲート線及び前記データ線に接続されているスイッチング素子を含む複数の画素と、データ駆動部と、ゲート駆動部と、前記データ駆動部及び前記ゲート駆動部を制御する信号制御部と、を含む表示装置において、
前記信号制御部が、1フレームの入力映像データの垂直解像度を1/k(kは自然数)に減らすか、または垂直解像度が1/kに減少した入力映像データを受信し処理して出力映像データを生成する段階と、
前記データ駆動部が前記出力映像データに基づいてデータ電圧を生成して前記データ線に印加する段階と、
前記ゲート駆動部が、前記出力映像データの各映像データに対応してk個の隣接するゲート線にゲートオン電圧パルスを印加する段階と、
を含み、
第1フレームで前記出力映像データのうちの一部画素行に対応する出力映像データを左または右に少なくとも1つの画素分移動させて前記データ駆動部に出力し、
前記出力映像データのうちの一定個数の画素行ごとに対応する前記出力映像データを左または右に少なくとも1つの画素分移動させて前記データ駆動部に出力する、
表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記一定個数の画素行は、2k(kは1以上の自然数)個の画素行である、請求項1に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記第1フレーム内に前記移動する出力映像データは、左に移動するか、または右に移動する、請求項1に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記移動する出力映像データが左に移動するフレームと、前記移動する出力映像データが右に移動するフレームとは、少なくとも1フレームごとに交番して移動する、請求項3に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 第2フレームで画素行に対応する出力映像データは左右に移動せず、そのまま前記データ駆動部に出力される、請求項3に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームが少なくとも1フレームごとに交番する、請求項5に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記移動する出力映像データが左に移動するフレーム、前記移動する出力映像データが右に移動するフレーム、及び前記第2フレームが交番する、請求項5に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記第1フレーム内に前記移動する出力映像データのうち、左に移動する出力映像データと、右に移動する出力映像データとは、列方向に交番する、請求項1に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 第2フレームで画素行に対応する出力映像データは左右に移動せず、そのまま前記データ駆動部に出力される、請求項8に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記第1フレームと前記第2フレームが少なくとも1フレームごとに交番する、請求項9に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記出力映像データは連続して出力される第1出力映像データ及び第2出力映像データを含み、
前記第1出力映像データに対応して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達する前記k個の隣接するゲート線は、第1ゲート線及び第2ゲート線を含み、
前記第2出力映像データに対応して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達する前記k個の隣接するゲート線は、第3ゲート線及び第4ゲート線を含み、
前記第2ゲート線に前記ゲートオン電圧パルスが印加され始める時点は、前記第1ゲート線に前記ゲートオン電圧パルスが印加され始める時点と、前記第3ゲート線に前記ゲートオン電圧パルスが印加され始める時点との間に位置する、請求項1に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第1ゲート線は、前記第1出力映像データの出力時期に同期して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達し、
前記第3ゲート線は、前記第2出力映像データの出力時期に同期して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達する、請求項11に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記出力映像データは、奇数行圧縮データまたは奇数行補間圧縮データを含み、
前記奇数行圧縮データは、前記入力映像データの奇数行を抽出して生成され、
前記奇数行補間圧縮データは、前記奇数行直前の偶数行の前記入力映像データと、前記奇数行直後の偶数行の前記入力映像データとを補間して生成される、請求項12に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 複数のゲート線及び複数のデータ線と、
前記ゲート線及び前記データ線に接続されているスイッチング素子を含む複数の画素と、
1フレームの入力映像データの垂直解像度を1/k(kは自然数)に減らすか、または垂直解像度が1/kに減少した入力映像データを受信し処理して出力映像データを生成する信号制御部と、
前記出力映像データに基づいてデータ電圧を生成して前記データ線に印加するデータ駆動部と、
前記出力映像データの各映像データに対応してk個の隣接するゲート線にゲートオン電圧パルスを印加するゲート駆動部と、
を含み、
前記信号制御部は、第1フレームの前記出力映像データのうちの一部画素行に対応する出力映像データを左または右に少なくとも1つの画素分移動させて前記データ駆動部に出力し、前記出力映像データのうちの一定個数の画素行ごとに対応する前記出力映像データを左または右に少なくとも1つの画素分移動させて前記データ駆動部に出力する、
表示装置。 - 複数のゲート線と、複数のデータ線と、前記ゲート線及び前記データ線に接続されているスイッチング素子を含む複数の画素と、データ駆動部と、ゲート駆動部と、前記データ駆動部及び前記ゲート駆動部を制御する信号制御部と、を含む表示装置において、

第1フレームで前記出力映像データのうちの一部画素行に対応する出力映像データを左または右に少なくとも1つの画素分移動させて前記データ駆動部に出力し、
前記出力映像データは連続して出力される第1出力映像データ及び第2出力映像データを含み、
前記第1出力映像データに対応して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達する前記k個の隣接するゲート線は、第1ゲート線及び第2ゲート線を含み、
前記第2出力映像データに対応して前記ゲートオン電圧パルスを伝達する前記k個の隣接するゲート線は、第3ゲート線及び第4ゲート線を含み、
