Claims (6)
- クランク室(43)を区画するクランクケース(31)と、
前記クランク室(43)に収容されるクランクを有し、前記クランクケース(31)に回転自在に支持されるクランクシャフト(32)と、
前記クランクケース(31)に結合されて、水平対向配置の複数のシリンダーを区画するシリンダーブロック(33)と、
個々の前記シリンダーに収容されるピストン(35)に小端部(49)で連結されて、軸部(53)で前記小端部(49)に接続される大端部(52)で前記クランクシャフト(32)のクランクピン(38)に連結されるコンロッド(44)と、
前記クランクシャフト(32)と一体に回転する被検知体(61)と、
前記クランクケース(31)の上面から前記クランクケース(31)を貫通し、前記被検知体(61)の軌道に向き合わせられて前記被検知体(61)の動きに応じてパルス信号を生成する検知センサー(62)と
を備え、
前記検知センサー(62)は、前記クランクシャフト(32)の回転軸線(Xc)を含み前記シリンダーのシリンダー軸線(Xf、Xr)に直交する垂直平面(63)と、最も車両後方に位置するシリンダー(33a)との間で前記クランクケース(31)に取り付けられることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 請求項1に記載の内燃機関において、前記被検知体(61)は、車両搭載時に、前記クランク室(43)内で最も車両後方に位置する1対のジャーナル(37、37a)の間に配置され、前記検知センサー(62)は前記被検知体(61)の回転軸線(Xc)を指向して前記被検知体(61)の径方向外側に配置されることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関において、前記被検知体(61)は前記クランクのクランクウエブ(42)に一体化されることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 請求項3に記載の内燃機関において、前記クランクウエブ(42)は外周縁に油路(45)の開口を有さずに円形の輪郭に形成されることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 請求項4に記載の内燃機関において、前記大端部(52)は、前記軸部(53)に連続する第1半体(52a)と、前記第1半体(52a)との間に前記クランクピン(38)を挟み込み、前記第1半体(52a)にボルト(54)で締結される第2半体(52b)とを有することを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関において、前記検知センサー(62)は、
前記クランクケース(31)に形成される貫通孔(64)に差し込まれて、先端の検知部で前記クランク室(43)に臨む本体(65)と、
前記本体(65)に結合されて、前記クランクケース(31)の外側の空間に配置されるコネクター(66)と、
前記本体(65)に結合されて、前記クランクケース(31)の外面に締結される締結片(67)と
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関。
