Description
Claims (13)
- 超高圧炉用カプセルアセンブリであって、
内部サイド表面を有し、かつ
中央縦方向軸を画定する、
格納チューブと、
反応アセンブリの収容に適するチャンバーと、
近位および遠位の端部ヒーターアセンブリと、
サイドヒーターアセンブリと、
を含んでなり、
使用時に組み立てられた際に、
前記チャンバーが、
前記格納チューブ内に格納され、かつ
前記近位および遠位の端部ヒーターアセンブリの間に縦方向に配置され、
前記サイドヒーターアセンブリが、
前記内部サイド表面に隣接して並べられ、かつ
前記端部ヒーターアセンブリを互いに電気的に接続し、
それぞれの端部ヒーターアセンブリが、前記内部サイド表面に隣接して並べられた各周囲サイドを有し、
前記端部およびサイドヒーターアセンブリを通って流れる電流に応じて、熱が前記チャンバー中で生じることができ、ならびに
少なくとも近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、その周囲サイドに隣接して、少なくとも前記近位の端部ヒーターアセンブリから前記サイドヒーターアセンブリを離隔するように構成され、前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、円形のリングの形態であり、およびそれぞれの障壁リングの平面に垂直な断面、かつその断面を通って見た際に、実質的に直角三角形の形状を有し、前記直角三角形の形状の斜辺はマイタ表面を画定し、前記端部ヒーターアセンブリが、前記中央縦方向軸に沿って、前記カプセルアセンブリに前記超高圧炉によって適用された力に応じて、互いに向かい合って移動する際に、前記サイドヒーター障壁は、前記サイドヒーターアセンブリの一部が、前記近位の端部ヒーターアセンブリの周囲サイドと、前記格納チューブとの間に侵入することを防止し、このようにして前記近位の端部ヒーターアセンブリの少なくとも一部で短絡することを避けるように作用する、超高圧炉用カプセルアセンブリ。 - 遠位のサイドヒーター障壁を含んでなり、
使用時に組み立てられた際に、
前記遠位サイドヒーター障壁が、その周囲サイドに隣接する前記遠位の端部ヒーターアセンブリから前記サイドヒーターアセンブリを離隔するように構成され、前記遠位のサイドヒーター障壁が、円形のリングの形態であり、およびそれぞれの障壁リングの平面に垂直な断面、かつその断面を通って見た際に、実質的に直角三角形の形状を有し、前記直角三角形の形状の斜辺はマイタ表面を画定し、前記端部ヒーターアセンブリが、前記中央縦方向軸に沿って前記カプセルアセンブリに前記超高圧炉によって適用された力に応じて、互いに向かい合って移動する際に、前記サイドヒーター障壁は、前記サイドヒーターアセンブリの一部が、前記遠位の端部ヒーターアセンブリの周囲サイドと、前記格納チューブとの間に侵入することを防止し、このようにして前記遠位の端部ヒーターアセンブリの少なくとも一部で短絡することを避けるように作用する、請求項1に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 少なくとも前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、リングの形態であり、
使用時に組み立てられた際に、少なくとも前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、前記サイドヒーターアセンブリの少なくとも各近位のフランジ部分に隣接するようなリングの形態であり、
少なくとも前記近位のフランジ部分が、
前記内部サイド表面から離れて延在し、および
前記内部サイド表面から遠く、かつ少なくとも前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁によってそれから離隔される接触界面において、前記近位の端部ヒーターアセンブリに電気的に接触する、
請求項1または2に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 少なくとも前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、マイタ表面を有し、
使用時に組み立てられた際に、前記マイタ表面が、前記縦方向軸に対して10〜80度の角度に並べられるように構成および配置される、
請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 少なくとも前記近位のサイドヒーター障壁が、グラファイトなどの導電性材料を含んでなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。
- 前記サイドヒーターアセンブリが、
内側サイド要素と、
外側サイド要素と、を含んでなり、
それぞれ、異なる導電性材料を含んでなり、かつ
それを通って流れる電流に応じて熱を発生させることができ、
使用時に組み立てられた際に、
前記内側および外側サイド要素が同軸であり、
前記内側サイド要素が、前記外側サイド要素によって前記内部サイド表面から離隔され、および
両方が、前記チャンバーの縦方向の全長に沿って前記端部ヒーターアセンブリの間に延在する、
ように構成される、
請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記内側および外側サイド要素が、それぞれ、グラファイト、少なくとも1,600℃の融点を有する耐火金属、または前記耐火金属の導電性炭化物から選択される材料を含んでなる、請求項6に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。
- 前記サイド要素の少なくとも1つが、Tiを含んでなり、および
前記サイド要素の少なくとも1つが、Taを含んでなる、
請求項6または7に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記サイド要素の少なくとも1つが、グラファイトを含んでなり、および
前記サイド要素の少なくとも1つが、TiまたはTaを含んでなる、
請求項6〜8のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記内側サイド要素が、TiまたはTaを含んでなり、および
前記外側サイド要素が、グラファイトを含んでなる、
請求項9に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記サイドヒーター要素の少なくとも1つの電気抵抗が、25℃〜1,600℃の温度範囲にわたる温度で増加し、および
別の前記サイドヒーター要素の電気抵抗が、前記温度範囲にわたる温度で減少する、
請求項6〜10のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記サイドヒーターアセンブリが、使用時に組み立てられた際に、
前記内側および外側サイドヒーター要素が、接触界面領域にわたって互いに電気的な接触状態であるように構成され、ならびに
前記内側および外側サイドヒーター要素に含まれた、グラファイトおよびチタンなどの各材料が、25℃〜1,600℃の範囲の温度において化学的に反応し、炭化チタンなどの反応生成物を含んでなる中間層を形成する、
請求項6〜11のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。 - 前記超高圧炉が、ベルト型または立方プレス装置である、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のカプセルアセンブリ。
