前記第1電源部からの電力供給に基づいて前記第2電源部を充電する充電動作を行う充電部と、
前記第2電源部の出力電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
車速情報を取得する車速情報取得部と、
少なくとも前記車速情報取得部が取得した車速情報に基づき、車速情報が示す車速が大きいほど充電目標電圧を高く設定し、前記電圧検出部によって検出される前記第2電源部の出力電圧に基づき、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる制御部と、
を有する。
車両に搭載される第1電源部と、少なくとも前記第1電源部からの電力供給が途絶えたときに電力供給源となる第2電源部とを備えた車両用の電源システムのバックアップ装置であって、
前記第1電源部からの電力供給に基づいて前記第2電源部を充電する充電動作を行う充電部と、
前記第2電源部の出力電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
車両の動力源を始動させる始動スイッチのオン状態を検出するスイッチ状態検出部と、
前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出した場合に、前記電圧検出部によって検出される前記第2電源部の出力電圧に基づき、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を設定された第1充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせ、前記第2電源部の出力電圧が前記第1充電目標電圧に達した場合に外部に通知信号を出力し、前記通知信号を出力した後、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第1充電目標電圧よりも大きい第2充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる制御部と、

図1で示す車両用電子制御システム100(以下、システム100ともいう)は、車両用のバックアップ装置1(以下、バックアップ装置1ともいう)を含んでなる車両用の電源システム110(以下、電源システム110ともいう)と、この電源システム110から電力を供給する対象となる様々な対象(シフトバイワイヤ制御システム120、電子制御ブレーキシステム130、ボディECU140、車速センサ132等)とを備えたシステムである。
図1で示す電源システム110は、第1電源部91からの電力供給が正常のときに第1電源部91の出力電圧が電力線となる配線部102に印加され、第1電源部91から配線部102を介して様々な電気部品に電力が供給される。ここでいう「第1電源部91からの電力供給が正常のとき」とは、第1電源部91によって配線部102に印加される出力電圧が所定値を超えるときである。制御回路10には、図示しない電圧検出回路により、配線部102に印加される電圧を示す値(例えば、配線部102の電圧値そのもの、或いは配線部102の電圧を分圧した値など)が入力されるようになっており、制御回路10は、この電圧検出回路から入力される検出値(配線部102に印加される電圧を示す値)が閾値未満であるか否かを判定することで、配線部102の電圧が所定値未満であるか否かを判定している。なお、所定値は、第1電源部91の満充電時の出力電圧よりも小さく0よりも大きい値であり、例えば0Vよりもやや大きい値に設定される。
図1で示すシステム100では、第1電源部91からの電力供給が途絶えた場合、第1電源部91からの電力供給が停止した時点での車速が大きいほど、車両が停止するまでに時間がかかると推測される。つまり、第1電源部91からの電力供給が停止した時点での車速が大きいほどバックアップに必要な電力が増加すると推測される。よって、上述したように、車速情報が示す車速が大きいほど電圧を高く設定する設定方式で充電目標電圧(第1充電目標電圧Va又は第2充電目標電圧Vb)を設定し、第2電源部7の出力電圧を設定された充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を充電部3に行わせれば、車速が大きくなるほど第2電源部7から供給可能な電力を増大させることができ、第2電源部7の出力電圧を、車両の走行状態に合わせて適切に設定することが可能となる。例えば、車速が大きい場合には充電目標電圧(第1充電目標電圧Va又は第2充電目標電圧Vb)を相対的に高く設定して充電動作を行うことで第2電源部7から供給可能な電力を増大させることができる。逆に、車速が小さい場合には、充電目標電圧を相対的に低く設定して充電動作を行うことで、充電動作をより早期に完了させることができる。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。

Claims (7)
- 車両に搭載される第1電源部と、少なくとも前記第1電源部からの電力供給が途絶えたときに電力供給源となる第2電源部とを備えた車両用の電源システムのバックアップ装置であって、
前記第1電源部からの電力供給に基づいて前記第2電源部を充電する充電動作を行う充電部と、
前記第2電源部の出力電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
車両の動力源を始動させる始動スイッチのオン状態を検出するスイッチ状態検出部と、
前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出した場合に、前記電圧検出部によって検出される前記第2電源部の出力電圧に基づき、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を設定された第1充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせ、前記第2電源部の出力電圧が前記第1充電目標電圧に達した場合にバックアップ対象装置に通知信号を出力し、前記通知信号を出力した後、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第1充電目標電圧よりも大きい第2充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる制御部と、
前記第2電源部を放電させる放電部と、
を有し、
前記制御部は、前記第1電源部からの電力供給が途絶えた場合に前記放電部に対して前記第2電源部の放電動作を行わせ、
前記放電部は、前記制御部から放電指示が与えられた場合に前記バックアップ対象装置に対して前記第2電源部から電力を供給する車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 前記第2電源部の劣化度を検出する劣化度検出部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出した場合に、少なくとも前記劣化度検出部が検出した劣化度に基づき、前記劣化度検出部が検出した劣化度が大きいほど電圧を高く設定する設定方式で前記第1充電目標電圧を設定し、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第1充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項1に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 前記劣化度検出部が前記第2電源部の劣化度を検出した後、検出された劣化度を特定する劣化度情報を記憶する劣化度情報記憶部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出した場合に、前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出する前から前記劣化度情報記憶部に記憶されている劣化度情報に基づいて前記第1充電目標電圧を設定し、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第1充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項2に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 前記第2電源部の温度を検出する温度検出部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記スイッチ状態検出部が前記始動スイッチのオン状態を検出した場合に、少なくとも前記温度検出部が検出した前記第2電源部の温度に基づいて前記第1充電目標電圧を設定し、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第1充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 車速情報を取得する車速情報取得部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記第2電源部の出力電圧が前記第1充電目標電圧に達した場合、少なくとも前記車速情報取得部が取得した車速情報に基づき、車速情報が示す車速が大きいほど電圧を高く設定する設定方式で前記第2充電目標電圧を設定し、前記電圧検出部によって検出される前記第2電源部の出力電圧に基づき、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第2充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 前記第2電源部の劣化度を検出する劣化度検出部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記第2電源部の出力電圧が前記第1充電目標電圧に達した場合、少なくとも前記劣化度検出部が検出した劣化度に基づき、前記劣化度検出部が検出した劣化度が大きいほど電圧を高く設定する設定方式で前記第2充電目標電圧を設定し、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第2充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。 - 前記第2電源部の温度を検出する温度検出部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記第2電源部の出力電圧が前記第1充電目標電圧に達した場合、少なくとも前記温度検出部が検出した前記第2電源部の温度に基づいて前記第2充電目標電圧を設定し、前記第2電源部の出力電圧を前記第2充電目標電圧に近づける充電動作を前記充電部に行わせる請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用のバックアップ装置。
