前記波長変換ドメインの少なくとも一部は、アレイ、一般的に画素アレイとして配置される及び量子ドットを含み、異なる波長変換ドメインが全光出力スペクトルの異なるサブレンジを提供する異なる二次光発光範囲を有する量子ドットを含み、並びに、各波長変換ドメインによって提供されるサブレンジが別の波長変換ドメインによって提供される少なくとも1つの他のサブレンジと重複する又は少なくとも連続する、発光装置によって達成される。
Claims (1)
- 全光出力スペクトルを提供する発光装置であって、
一次光を発する固体光源と、
前記一次光を受け取り、前記一次光を二次光へと変換するための波長変換材料を含む複数の波長変換ドメインを含む波長変換部材であって、各波長変換ドメインが前記全光出力スペクトルのサブレンジを提供する、波長変換部材と、
前記固体光源から前記波長変換部材への光の経路に配置されたシールド部材と、
を含み、
前記波長変換ドメインの少なくとも一部は、アレイとして配置されて、量子ドットを含み、異なる波長変換ドメインが、前記全光出力スペクトルの異なるサブレンジを提供する異なる二次光発光範囲を有する量子ドットを含み、各波長変換ドメインによって提供されるサブレンジが別の波長変換ドメインによって提供される少なくとも1つの他のサブレンジと重なり合う又は少なくとも連続し、
少なくとも1つの波長変換ドメインは、前記量子ドットを含む各波長変換ドメインによって提供される前記サブレンジの半値全幅(FWHM)よりも広いFWHMを持つサブレンジを提供する広帯域発光波長変換材料を含む蛍光体層であり、前記広帯域発光波長変換材料は無機蛍光体材料及び有機蛍光体材料から選択され、
前記量子ドットを含む波長変換ドメインのアレイは、前記固体光源と前記蛍光体層との間の光の経路内に配置された別の層として設けられ、
少なくとも1つの波長変換ドメインは、700nmよりも長いピーク波長を持つ二次光を提供し、
前記波長変換ドメインは、合わせて、400nm〜800nmの範囲の全波長を含む二次光を提供し、
前記シールド部材は、前記固体光源によって発せられた光が少なくとも1つの波長変換ドメインに到達することを阻止できる、
