Description
前記接着層の厚さが約50μm〜約300μmであってもよい。
前記粘着剤の粘度が、例えば、約25℃で約2,000cps〜約40,000cpsであってもよく、具体的には約3,000cps〜約20,000cpsであってもよい。前記範囲内の粘度を有することによって、前記画像表示部及び前記保護部の密着時にオーバーフローせず、且つ、これらを優れたレベルで粘着させることができる。
メタクリレート系モノマーとしてラウリルメタクリレート(Lauryl methacrylate)15重量%、アクリレート系モノマーとしてラウレルアクリレート(Lauryl acrylate)30重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー35重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤8重量%、シランカップリング剤2重量%、及びその他の添加剤7重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
ラウリルメタクリレート20重量%、ラウリルアクリレート25重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー35重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤8重量%、シランカップリング剤2重量%、及びその他の添加剤7重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
ラウリルメタクリレート20重量%、ラウリルアクリレート15重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー29重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤31重量%、及びシランカップリング剤2重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
ラウリルメタクリレート3重量%、ラウリルアクリレート32重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー29重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤31重量%、及びシランカップリング剤2重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
ラウリルメタクリレート24重量%、ラウリルアクリレート5重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー35重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤31重量%、及びシランカップリング剤2重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
ラウリルメタクリレート3重量%、ラウリルアクリレート32重量%、重量平均分子量が12,000g/molのポリウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー35重量%、光開始剤3重量%、ポリエステル系可塑剤25重量%、及びシランカップリング剤2重量%を混合及び攪拌して光学用粘接着組成物を製造した。
前記実施例1、2及び前記比較例1〜4による光学用粘接着組成物を各々LCDの最上部層である偏光フィルム上に200μm厚さで塗布した後、LEDランプを用いて500mJ/cm2で1次光硬化させて粘着剤を形成し、その次に前記粘着剤の上部にガラス基板を粘着させ、圧力を加えて密着させた後、メタルハライドランプ(Dymax、5000 EC)を用いて3,000mJ/cm2で2次光硬化させて接着剤を形成し、前記LCD及び前記ガラス基板を接着させて画像表示装置を製造し、前記画像表示装置を製造する過程で、前記光学用粘接着組成物、前記各粘着剤の物性及び前記各接着剤の物性を評価して下記の表1に記載した。
(オーバーフロー(overflow)現象)
測定方法:前記実施例1、2及び前記比較例1〜4による光学用粘接着組成物を1次光硬化させて形成した前記各々の粘着剤の上部に前記ガラス基板を粘着させ、密着させる過程で前記偏光フィルム及び前記ガラス基板の縁外にあふれたか否かを肉眼で観察し、オーバーフロー現象が発生した場合を「○」で示し、発生していない場合を「×」で示した。
測定方法:前記各々の画像表示装置が製造された時点から25℃で少なくとも3時間放置し、その次に前記各々の画像表示装置を駆動させた後、前記ガラス基板の縁部を肉眼で観測して黄色に変色した部分があるか否かを観察し、色が黄色に変色して黄変現象が発生した場合を「○」で示し、発生していない場合を「×」で示した。
測定方法:前記実施例1、2及び前記比較例1〜4による光学用粘接着組成物を1個のスライドガラスの間に直径2cm、厚さ200umの大きさで塗布し、LEDランプを用いて500mJ/cm2で1次光硬化させて粘着剤を形成し、その次に前記粘着剤の上部に他の1個のスライドガラスを粘着させ、圧力を加えて密着させた後、メタルハライドランプ(Dymax、5000 EC)を用いて3,000mJ/cm2で2次光硬化させて接着剤を形成し、2個のスライドガラスを接着させた。
測定方法:前記各画像表示装置を250時間85℃及び85%R.H.条件のオーブンに入れて放置した後、各接着剤の表面に粘着剤の剥がし跡、汚れ等が発生するか否かを肉眼で観測し、剥がし跡、汚れ等が発生せずに接着性能が均一に維持された場合を「○」で示し、剥がし跡、汚れ等が発生して接着性能が低下した場合を「×」で示した。

Claims (11)
- 画像表示装置において、画像表示部の上部に、メタクリレート系モノマー及びアクリレート系モノマー及び可塑剤を含み、前記メタクリレート系モノマー及び前記アクリレート系モノマーの重量比が1:1〜1:2である光学用粘接着組成物であって、前記メタクリレート系モノマーの含量が15重量%〜20重量%、前記アクリレート系モノマーの含量が30重量%〜40重量%、前記可塑剤の含量が3重量%〜8重量%である光学用粘接着組成物を塗布するステップ、
塗布された粘接着組成物を1次光硬化させて粘着剤を形成するステップ、
前記粘着剤の上部に保護部を粘着させるステップ、及び
前記画像表示部と前記保護部との間に介在された前記粘着剤を2次光硬化させて接着剤を形成し、前記画像表示部及び前記保護部を接着させるステップを含む、光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。 - 前記画像表示部が液晶表示装置(Liquid Crystal Display、LCD)である、請求項1に記載の光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。
- 前記保護部がガラス基板または透明プラスチック基板である、請求項1に記載の光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。
- (メタ)アクリレート系オリゴマー、光開始剤、可塑剤及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択された少なくとも一つをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。
- 前記塗布された粘接着組成物を100mJ/cm2〜1,000mJ/cm2の光量条件で1次光硬化させる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。
- 前記粘着剤を2,000mJ/cm2〜6,000mJ/cm2の光量条件で2次光硬化させる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の光学用粘接着組成物を多段硬化させる方法。
- 画像表示装置において、画像表示部の上部に、メタクリレート系モノマー及びアクリレート系モノマー及び可塑剤を含み、前記メタクリレート系モノマー及び前記アクリレート系モノマーの重量比が1:1〜1:2である光学用粘接着組成物であって、前記メタクリレート系モノマーの含量が15重量%〜20重量%、前記アクリレート系モノマーの含量が30重量%〜40重量%、前記可塑剤の含量が3重量%〜8重量%である光学用粘接着組成物を塗布するステップ、
塗布された粘接着組成物を1次光硬化させて粘着剤を形成するステップ、
前記粘着剤の上部に保護部を粘着させるステップ、及び
前記画像表示部と前記保護部との間に介在された前記粘着剤を2次光硬化させて接着剤を形成し、前記画像表示部及び前記保護部を接着させて接着層を形成するステップを含む、画像表示部、
接着層、及び
保護部を含む画像表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記接着層の25℃の温度条件で前記保護部に対する接着力が30N/cm2〜100N/cm2である、請求項7に記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記接着層の厚さが50μm〜300μmである、請求項7に記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記画像表示部が液晶表示装置(Liquid Crystal Display、LCD)である、請求項7に記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記保護部がガラス基板または透明プラスチック基板である、請求項7に記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
