Description
前記外部接続部は、前記内部接続部に連なる垂直部と、前記垂直部に連なる水平部とからなり、前記保護壁は、前記横方向と直交する縦方向における一側に配された第1保護壁と、前記縦方向における他側に配された第2保護壁とを備えて構成されているものとしてもよい。
このようにすると、水平部の一側を第1保護壁によって保護することができ、水平部の他側を第2保護壁によって保護することができる。
このような構成によると、作業孔の孔縁部に保護壁を設けたから、コネクタの大型化を回避できる。
実施形態を図1から図4の図面を参照しながら説明する。本実施形態におけるコネクタ10は、図1および図2に示すように、合成樹脂製のハウジング20と、ハウジング20に保持された複数の端子30と、ハウジング20をモータなどの機器に取り付けるためのプレート40とを備えて構成されている。ハウジング20は、図1に示すように、金属プレート40が一体に保持された本体部21と、本体部21の下面から下方に突出して設けられた左右一対の保護壁22とを備えて構成されている。本体部21には、図2に示すように、横方向に長い作業孔23が貫通して設けられている。
このようにすると、水平部35の一側を第1保護壁24によって保護することができ、水平部35の他側を第2保護壁25によって保護することができる。
このような構成によると、作業孔23の孔縁部23Aに保護壁22を設けたから、コネクタ10の大型化を回避できる。
本明細書によって開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では第1保護壁24と第2保護壁25が別体に構成されているものの、第1保護壁と第2保護壁が一体に構成されているものでもよい。

- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに保持された複数の端子と、を備えたコネクタであって、
前記ハウジングは、本体部と、前記本体部を貫通する作業孔と、前記本体部から突出した保護壁と、を有し、
前記複数の端子は、前記ハウジングに埋設された埋設部と、前記埋設部に連なり前記作業孔の内部に配された内部接続部と、前記作業孔の外部に配された外部接続部と、を有し、
前記外部接続部は、前記内部接続部に連なる垂直部と、前記垂直部に連なる水平部と、を有し、
前記保護壁は、前記複数の端子の並列方向と直交する第1方向における一側に配された第1保護壁と、前記第1方向における他側に配された第2保護壁と、を有し、
前記保護壁は、前記並列方向において、前記本体部の両側に一対設けられており、
前記第1保護壁と前記第2保護壁は、前記本体部から個別に突出しており、
前記第1保護壁の先端と前記第2保護壁の先端は、前記水平部よりも前記本体部から離れた位置に配されており、
前記水平部は、前記保護壁によって囲まれた領域の内側に配されているコネクタ。 - 前記第1保護壁は、前記水平部の基端側に配されており、
前記第2保護壁は、前記水平部の先端側に配されている請求項1に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記保護壁は、前記作業孔の孔縁部から前記垂直部に沿って突出する請求項1または請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記保護壁は、前記作業孔の孔縁部から前記作業孔の貫通方向に突出する請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
