●エマルションの重量の0.70%のカチオン性急結イミダゾリン乳化剤(Cargill社製、Anova 1620)
●エマルションの2.0重量%のラテックス(UltraPave)
●2.6のpHとするために十分な含有量のHCl。

●2.5重量%の、実施例#3の重合油。
●エマルションの0.5重量%のカチオン性急速硬化乳化剤(MeadWest Vaco社製、AA−89)と、
●2.0〜2.2のpHとするために十分な含有量のHCl。
○160℃で19時間にわたり、窒素を吹き付けながら、7.0重量%の単体硫黄と反応させた、59.0重量%の硫化大豆油を有するブレンド物。この結果、70.8%のオリゴマーを含む改質剤が得られた。
○硫化油と大豆油とのブレンド物は、約45.6%のオリゴマー含有量と、約3.95のPDIとを有していた。

●32.3重量%の大豆メチルエステル

●25℃で、0.934g/mLの密度
●40℃で、90.4mm2/秒(90.4cSt)の粘度

Claims (22)
- アスファルト再生用途に用いるためのエマルションであって、
(a)重合油を含む油相であって、前記重合油が、
i.2〜80重量%のオリゴマー含有量及び20〜98重量%のモノマー含有量を有し、オリゴマーは1000より大きい数平均分子量(Mn)を有するポリマーとして定義される、ポリマー分布と、
ii.1.0〜5.0の範囲の多分散指数と、
iii.0.001重量%以上かつ8重量%未満の硫黄
とを有する重合油である油相、及び
(b)界面活性剤を含む水相
を含むエマルション。 - 前記油相が、 生物学的に再生可能な油、又は予め改質された若しくは官能化された油を更に含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記水相が、ポリマー及び/又は増粘剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、植物、動物、又は藻類から分離された出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記出発油原料が、パーム油、ひまわり油、コーン油、大豆油、キャノーラ油、菜種油、亜麻仁油、桐油、ひまし油、トール油、綿実油、ピーナッツ油、ベニバナ油、コーン蒸留廃液油、それらを組み合わせたもの、それらの留出物、それらの誘導体、及びそれらの粗ストリームからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、前記出発油原料のうちの1種類以上のアルキルエステルである、請求項4又は5に記載のエマルション。
