本発明は、概しては、関節鏡視下手術装置(arthroscopic surgical device、関節鏡視
下で手術を行なう装置)に関し、より詳細には、関節鏡視下での骨トンネル形成装置(bone
tunneling device、骨にトンネルを形成するデバイス)に関する。
整形外科手術を含む様々な用途のための、様々なタイプの関節鏡視下での手術器具が知られている。
用語「トンネル(tunnel)」と「チャネル(channel)」とは、本発明の説明においては交換可能に用いられ、骨に形成される、中空の穴(例、円筒状の中空の穴)のことを言うものと理解される。また、用語「トンネル形成(tunneling)」と「チャネル形成(channeling)」とは、本発明の説明においては交換可能に用いられ、骨に、中空の穴(例、円筒状の中空の穴)を形成する方法のことを言うものと理解される。
本発明は、図面と共に解釈される以下の詳細な説明から、把握され、理解されるであろう。
用語「トンネル」と「チャネル」とは、本発明の説明においては交換可能に用いられ、骨に形成される、中空の穴(例、円筒状の中空の穴)のことを言うものと理解される。また、用語「トンネル形成」と「チャネル形成」とは、本発明の説明においては交換可能に用いられ、骨に中空の穴(例、円筒状の中空の穴)を形成する方法のことを言うものと理解される。

骨に第一の略直線状のチャネル(499)を形成するように構成された穿孔器(10)を有し;
多部分からなる動作推進アセンブリ(106)を有し、該多部分からなる動作推進アセンブリ(106)は:
該骨に第二の略直線状のチャネルを形成するように構成されたドリル(126)を含む、骨係合ピン挿入アセンブリ(120)を含み、該第二の略直線状のチャネルは前記第一の略直線状のチャネルと交わっておらず;
骨係合針推進アセンブリ(122)を含み;かつ、
選択可能な連結アセンブリ(123)を含み、
前記第一の略直線状のチャネルに挿入可能なように構成された湾曲状の針(162)を有し;
前記骨係合針推進アセンブリ(122)は、前記第一の略直線状のチャネルと前記第二の略直線状のチャネルとの間に湾曲状の結合部を形成するために前記湾曲状の針を操るように構成されており;かつ、
前記骨の前記第二の略直線状のチャネルを通して縫合糸受け取り位置に縫合糸(184)を挿入するように構成された縫合アセンブリ(170)を有し、
前記湾曲状の針(162)は、該結合部及び前記第一の略直線状のチャネルを通して前記縫合糸受け取り位置から前記縫合糸を引っ張り出すように構成されており、
前記縫合アセンブリ(170)が、一対の相互に間隔を置いて配置された前方に延びるアーム(176)を有し、該アームにはそれぞれ縫合糸保持先端切欠き(178)および縫合糸保持側方切欠き(180)が形成されている、
前記システム。 - 前記穿孔器が、前記第一の略直線状のチャネルを規定する望ましい骨貫通の程度を示すため、前記穿孔器の前方部分(16)上に線(20)を有する、請求項1に記載の関節鏡視下で骨チャネルを形成し、かつ縫合するシステム。
- 前記湾曲状の針が、前記第一の略直線状のチャネルの長さと概して等しいか、又は前記第一の略直線状のチャネルの長さより大きい曲率半径を有する、請求項2に記載の関節鏡視下で骨チャネルを形成し、かつ縫合するシステム。
- 前記縫合糸が、前記切欠きにおいて前記一対の相互に間隔を置いて配置された前方に延びるアームに弧を描いて垂れる、請求項1−3のいずれか一項に記載の関節鏡視下で骨チャネルを形成し、かつ縫合するシステム。
