Claims (8)
- ハンドルが設けられた機体部に送風機及び該送風機のファンを回転駆動するための駆動源が配設され、前記送風機におけるファンケースの一側面部に吸気用の吸入口が設けられるとともに、該吸入口に所定の幾何学模様を呈する格子を持つ安全ガードが設けられた携帯型動力作業機であって、
前記ファンケースの一側面部には、前記吸入口の少なくとも一部に対向する天面開口が設けられるとともに、該天面開口に所定の幾何学模様を呈する格子が設けられた閉塞防止ガードが付設され、
前記閉塞防止ガードにおける前記天面開口に設けられた格子の各目部分の平均開口面積が前記安全ガードにおける格子の各目部分の平均開口面積より大きくされていることを特徴とする携帯型動力作業機。 - 前記閉塞防止ガードは、前記天面開口が設けられた天面部と、前記天面開口を前記吸入口から所定距離をあけて対面させるための複数本の脚部とを有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記複数本の各脚部間に、該脚部より広幅の周面開口が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記天面開口に設けられた格子の開口面積と前記各脚部間に形成された前記周面開口の開口面積とを足し合わせた総開口面積は、前記安全ガードにおける格子の開口面積より大きくされていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記吸入口及び前記天面開口は共に円形とされ、それらの中心が前記ファンの回転軸線上に位置せしめられていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記天面開口の格子を構成する骨部分の一部と、前記安全ガードの格子を構成する骨部分の一部とは、一側面視で相互に重なるようにされていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記閉塞防止ガードにおける前記天面開口に設けられた格子の各目部分の平均開口面積は、前記安全ガードにおける格子の各目部分の平均開口面積の3倍以上に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
- 前記総開口面積は、前記安全ガードにおける格子の開口面積の2倍以上に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の携帯型動力作業機。
