Claims (10)
- ステップ1においてAMOLEDのCOF端からパネルの一列毎の発光素子の輝度値(L)を測定し、
ステップ2において該ステップ1で測定したパネルの一列毎の発光素子の輝度値(L)に基づいて、IRドロップによってそれぞれの列の発光素子に発生する輝度の変化の曲線を描き、
ステップ3において輝度差(ΔL)と電圧差(ΔV)との間の比例に基づき関係を転換し、即ち、ΔV=α・ΔLであって、かつ該αが比例の因子の一つであって、隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間の輝度値の階差から、隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間で補償する電圧値を計算し、
第1列発光素子に対して第2列を補償する電圧値は第1補償値(ΔV1)であって、第2列発光素子に対して第3列を補償する電圧値を第2補償値(ΔV2)とし、
第m列発光素子に対して第m+1列を補償する電圧値を第m補償値(ΔVm)(ここで、m+1は3以上、最後の列の数以下の整数)とし、
ステップ4において、タイムコントロールレジスタがデータ電圧信号を送信して画面に表示する場合、
演算方式が次に掲げる式のとおりであって、
V1=Vdata、
Vn=Vdata+Σn i=2(ΔVi−1 )
式中のVnが、第n列発光素子の電圧を表し、かつVdataがデータ電圧を表すとともに、nが1より大きい正の整数である
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項1に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記ステップ2における輝度の変化の曲線が、発光素子の存在する列が長くなるにつれて、測定したそれぞれの列の発光素子の輝度値がより一層低くなる
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項1に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記ステップ3において採用する演算方法が次に掲げる式のとおりであって、
ΔVn−1=α・ΔLn−1=α・(Ln−Ln−1)
式中のΔVn−1が、第n−1列発光素子に対して第n列を補償する第n−1電圧値であって、ΔLn−1が、第n列発光素子の輝度Lnと第n−1列発光素子の輝度Ln−1の輝度との階差であり、かつnが1より大きい正の整数である
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項1に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記補償する電圧値を直接前記データ電圧に加える
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項1に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記ステップ3において得た隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間で補償する電圧値は記憶素子に保存する
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項1に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記AMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法が、OVDD単一方向駆動AMOLED表示装置か、又はOVDD両方向駆動AMOLED表示装置に応用される
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - ステップ1においてAMOLEDのCOF端からパネルの一列毎の発光素子の輝度値(L)を測定し、
ステップ2において該ステップ1で測定したパネルの一列毎の発光素子の輝度値(L)に基づいて、IRドロップによってそれぞれの列の発光素子に発生する輝度の変化の曲線を描き、
ステップ3において輝度差(ΔL)と電圧差(ΔV)との間の比例に基づき関係を転換し、即ち、ΔV=α・ΔLであって、かつ該αが比例の因子の一つであって、隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間の輝度値の階差から、隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間で補償する電圧値を計算し、
第1列発光素子に対して第2列を補償する電圧値は第1補償値(ΔV1)であって、第2列発光素子に対して第3列を補償する電圧値を第2補償値(ΔV2)とし、
第m列発光素子に対して第m+1列を補償する電圧値を第m補償値(ΔVm)(ここで、m+1は3以上、最後の列の数以下の整数)とし、
ステップ4において、タイムコントロールレジスタがデータ電圧信号を送信して画面に表示する場合、
演算方式が次に掲げる式のとおりであって、
式中のVnが、第n列発光素子の最終的な電圧を表し、かつVdataがデータ電圧を表すとともに、nが1より大きい正の整数であり、
V1=Vdata、
Vn=Vdata+Σn i=2(ΔVi−1)
該ステップ2における輝度の変化の曲線が、発光素子の存在する列が長くなるにつれて、測定したそれぞれの列の発光素子の輝度値がより一層低くなり、
該ステップ3において採用する演算方法が次式のとおりであって、
ΔVn−1=α・ΔLn−1=α・(Ln−Ln−1)
式中のΔVn−1が、第n−1列発光素子に対して第n列を補償する第n−1電圧値であって、ΔLn−1が、第n列発光素子の輝度Lnと第n−1列発光素子の輝度Ln−1の輝度との階差である
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項7に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記補償する電圧値を直接前記データ電圧に加える
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項7に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記ステップ3において得た隣り合う2列毎の発光素子の間で補償する電圧値は記憶素子に保存する
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。 - 請求項7に記載のAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法において、
前記AMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法が、OVDD単一方向駆動AMOLED表示装置か、又はOVDD両方向駆動AMOLED表示装置に応用される
ことを特徴とするAMOLED電源電圧降下の補償方法。
