Description
バッテリーモジュールとは、このように容量及び出力などを高めるために多数の二次電池が直列または並列で連結された構成要素を意味する。このようなバッテリーモジュールは、安定的な性能維持のため、二次電池の電圧測定を必要とする。バッテリーモジュールは、このように二次電池の電圧を測定するため、二次電池の電極リードと接続されたバスバーと、このようなバスバーを外部の計測回路と電気的に連結するワイヤとを備えるICBハウジングを含む。
メインコネクタ固定部26は、図4に示されたように、バスバー22の上側に位置するように形成される。すなわち、メインコネクタ固定部26は、バスバー22を介在してサブコネクタ固定部25と所定間隔ほど離隔するように形成される。このようなメインコネクタ固定部26は、図4に示されたように、メインコネクタ62を収容できるようにICBハウジング20の外面で凹設されるコネクタ収容溝26a、及び後述するメインコネクタ62の弾性フック64が挿入できるようにコネクタ収容溝26aに穿設されたフック孔26bを備える。
冷却プレート30は、二次電池12から発生した熱を受け取り、外部に放出するための部材である。
このような連結ワイヤ63は、図7に示されたように、離脱防止突起27bによって保護されて離脱が防止されるように、少なくとも一部分がワイヤ固定溝27aに挿入される。すると、連結ワイヤ63は、バスバー22同士の間の区間を経由するように、ICBハウジング20の外面に固設される。

Claims (9)
- 電極リードをそれぞれ有する複数の二次電池と、前記二次電池のうち少なくとも1つの二次電池をそれぞれ収容して、多段で積層される複数のカートリッジとを備えるカートリッジ積層体;
前記電極リードと所定の接続点で接続されるバスバーを備え、前記カートリッジ積層体の一面に結合されるICBハウジング;及び
前記ICBハウジングの外面に沿って延びるように配置される連結ワイヤを備え、前記二次電池の電圧をセンシングできるように前記バスバーと接続されるセンシングユニット;
を含み、
前記ICBハウジングは、前記接続点に比べて前記ICBハウジングの内側に位置するように、前記ICBハウジングの外面が前記ICBハウジングの内側に向かって凹設され、前記連結ワイヤの少なくとも一部分が挿入され固定されるワイヤ固定溝を有するワイヤ固定部をさらに備えることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記ICBハウジングは、前記電極リードの端部が通過するように穿設されたリード孔をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、前記ICBハウジングの外面に結合され、
前記電極リードは、前記リード孔を通過して前記ICBハウジングの外部に突出した端部が所定の角度ほど折り曲げられて形成され、前記バスバーと前記接続点で接続される接続部を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記バスバーと前記接続部とは、前記接続点でレーザー溶接されて接続されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ワイヤ固定部は、前記連結ワイヤが前記ワイヤ固定溝に嵌合されるように所定の間隔を置いて前記ワイヤ固定溝から突設される複数の嵌め突起をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記センシングユニットは、
前記バスバーと接続されるセンシングワイヤと、前記センシングワイヤの端部に結合されるセンシングコネクタとを有するセンシングコネクタ組立体;及び
前記センシングコネクタと締結及び接続されるサブコネクタと、外部の計測回路が備える回路コネクタと締結及び接続され、前記連結ワイヤによって前記サブコネクタと電気的に連結されるメインコネクタとを有する連結コネクタ組立体;
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 電極リードをそれぞれ有する複数の二次電池と、前記二次電池のうち少なくとも1つの二次電池をそれぞれ収容して、多段で積層される複数のカートリッジとを備えるカートリッジ積層体;
前記電極リードと所定の接続点で接続されるバスバーを備え、前記カートリッジ積層体の外面に結合されるICBハウジング;及び
前記ICBハウジングの外面に沿って延びるように配置され、前記バスバーと接続される連結ワイヤ;
を含み、
前記ICBハウジングは、前記接続点に比べて前記ICBハウジングの内側に位置するように、前記ICBハウジングの外面が前記ICBハウジングの内側に向かって凹設され、前記連結ワイヤの少なくとも一部分が挿入され固定されるワイヤ固定溝を有するワイヤ固定部をさらに備えることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 請求項1〜請求項7のうちいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含むことを特徴とするバッテリーパック。
- 請求項8に記載のバッテリーパックを含むことを特徴とする自動車。
