Description
ヒト脊柱は、脊髄をその中に配して保護するヒト生理学的構造の必須の部分であり、体の構造の支持を提供する。典型的なヒトでは、脊柱は、24個の関節をなす椎骨と9個の癒合した椎骨で構成され、一般的に、頚部、胸部、仙骨部、および尾骨部を含むいくつかの領域に分けられる。
本明細書は、脊柱を強化して安定化するために用いられる椎間板プロテーゼに関する技術を記述する。本明細書において記述される技術の実施形態は、小さい術創を通してヒト椎間板の部分に植え込まれる外科用デバイス、そのような外科用デバイスを挿入するために用いられる様々な支援ツール、ならびに脊柱を強化および安定化するためにデバイスを用いる方法を含む。

Claims (12)
- 内室と、
内室と流体的に分離されている外室と、
充填チューブの内部と該内室の内部との間の第一の開口部を有し、開位置と閉位置との間で移動可能である該充填チューブを含む、第一の封止機構;
充填チャネルの内部と外室の内部との間の第二の開口部を有する該充填チャネルを含む、第二の封止機構;
該充填チャネル内で開位置と閉位置との間でスライド可能なストッパー要素;および
該ストッパー要素に力を加え、該ストッパー要素を該閉位置にスライドさせるためのバイアス要素
を含み、内室および外室と接続している封止弁と
を含み、
封止弁が開位置にあるとき、第一の封止機構の第一の開口部が開いて第一の材料の内室内への流入を可能にし、かつ第二の封止機構の第二の開口部が開いて充填チャネルの内部と外室の内部との流体連通を可能にすることで、第二の材料の外室内への流入が可能となるように該ストッパー要素が位置し;
封止弁が閉位置にあるとき、第一の封止機構の第一の開口部が塞がれて第一の材料の内室内からの流出を防止し、かつ該ストッパー要素が第二の封止機構の第二の開口部を塞いで第二の材料の外室内からの流出を防止し;
ストッパー要素に加えられる力が該ストッパー要素を開位置にスライドさせて充填チャネルの内部と外室の内部との流体連通を可能とし;かつ
力が解放されたときに該バイアス要素が該ストッパー要素を閉位置へ向かってスライドさせ、封止弁が閉位置となる、
