Description
上記課題を解決するための本願発明の一の実施例に係る脊柱ロッドは、所定の物質を含むように構成される内部空洞を規定し、第1端部と第2端部との間の縦軸に沿って所定の長さが規定される、膨張可能な部材であって、変形可能な材料で構成される、膨張可能な部材と、前記内部空洞の中に配置され、前記縦軸に沿って位置決めされて配置される、複数の細長いレールと、前記縦軸に対して所定の角度をなして配置され、前記複数の細長いレールのうちの少なくとも2つの細長いレールを、前記少なくとも2つの細長いレールの各々に沿った別々の点において接続する、接続部材とを備え、前記複数の細長いレールは、被検者に前記脊柱ロッドを挿入する間に、前記内部空洞が前記縦軸に沿って軸方向につぶれることを防止し、前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも薄いサイズまで圧縮することができ、膨張状態において、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも太いサイズまで膨張する。
好ましくは、前記接続部材が、すべての前記複数の細長いレールより少ない数の細長いレールを固定する。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、金属から構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、チタン、ニッケルチタン、チタン合金、およびステンレス鋼からなる群のうちの1つから構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、ポリマーから構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、およびポリエーテルエーテルケトンからなる群のうちの1つから構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、セラミックから構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールの各々が、カーボンおよびガラスからなる群のうちの1つから構成される。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールが、前記膨張可能な部材の縦軸に対して平行である。
また好ましくは、前記接続部材が、被検者への挿入の間に前記複数のレールの半径方向の運動を可能にするように柔軟である。
また好ましくは、前記接続部材が、前記レールの間の間隔を維持するように強固である。
また好ましくは、前記接続部材が、前記内部空洞の中で円周方向に配置される。
また好ましくは、前記接続部材が、前記縦軸に対して斜めに配置される。
上記課題を解決するための本願発明の一の実施例に係る脊柱ロッドは、所定の物質を含むように構成される内部空洞を規定し、第1端部と第2端部との間の縦軸に沿って所定の長さが規定される、膨張可能な部材であって、変形可能な材料で構成される、膨張可能な部材と、前記膨張可能な部材に隣接し、前記縦軸に沿って位置決めされて配置される、複数の細長いレールと、前記縦軸に対して所定の角度をなして配置され、前記複数の細長いレールのうちの少なくとも2つの細長いレールを、前記少なくとも2つの細長いレールの各々に沿った別々の点において接続する、接続部材とを備え、前記膨張可能な部材は、前記内部空洞が第1の断面寸法を有する状態にある第1の配置位置と、前記内部空洞がより大きい第2の断面寸法を有する状態にある第2の配置位置との間において膨張可能であり、前記細長いレールは、前記第1の配置位置と前記第2の配置位置との間で半径方向へ可動であり、被検者に脊柱ロッドを挿入する間に前記内部空洞が前記縦軸に沿って軸方向につぶれることを防止するような軸方向剛性を有し、前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも薄いサイズに圧縮することができ、膨張状態において、前記第1端部および前記第2端部よりも広く膨張する。
好ましくは、前記接続部材が、すべての前記複数の細長いレールより少ない数の細長いレールを固定する。
また好ましくは、前記複数のレールが、前記膨張可能な部材の縦軸に対して平行である。
また好ましくは、前記接続部材が、被検者への挿入の間に前記複数のレールの半径方向の運動を可能にするように柔軟である。
Claims (17)
- 脊柱ロッドにおいて、
所定の物質を含むように構成される内部空洞を規定し、第1端部と第2端部との間の縦軸に沿って所定の長さが規定される、膨張可能な部材であって、変形可能な材料で構成される、膨張可能な部材と、
前記内部空洞の中に配置され、前記縦軸に沿って位置決めされて配置される、複数の細長いレールと、
前記縦軸に対して所定の角度をなして配置され、前記複数の細長いレールのうちの少なくとも2つの細長いレールを、前記少なくとも2つの細長いレールの各々に沿った別々の点において接続する、接続部材とを備え、
前記複数の細長いレールは、被検者に前記脊柱ロッドを挿入する間に、前記内部空洞が前記縦軸に沿って軸方向につぶれることを防止し、
前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも薄いサイズまで圧縮することができ、膨張状態において、前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも太いサイズまで膨張する、脊柱ロッド。 - 前記接続部材が、すべての前記複数の細長いレールより少ない数の前記複数の細長いレールを固定する、請求項1に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールの各々が、金属から構成される、請求項1又は2に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールの各々が、チタン、ニッケルチタン、チタン合金、およびステンレス鋼からなる群のうちの1つから構成される、請求項3に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールの各々が、ポリマーから構成される、請求項1又は2に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールの各々が、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、およびポリエーテルエーテルケトンからなる群のうちの1つから構成される、請求項5に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数のレールの各々が、セラミックから構成される、請求項1又は2に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールの各々が、カーボンおよびガラスからなる群のうちの1つから構成される、請求項7に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールが、前記膨張可能な部材の縦軸に対して平行である、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記接続部材が、被検者への挿入の間に前記複数の細長いレールの半径方向の運動を可能にするように柔軟である、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記接続部材が、前記複数の細長いレールの間の間隔を維持するように強固である、請求項1乃至10の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記接続部材が、前記内部空洞の中で円周方向に配置される、請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記接続部材が、前記縦軸に対して斜めに配置される、請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 脊柱ロッドにおいて、
所定の物質を含むように構成される内部空洞を規定し、第1端部と第2端部との間の縦軸に沿って所定の長さが規定される、膨張可能な部材であって、変形可能な材料で構成される、膨張可能な部材と、
前記膨張可能な部材に隣接し、前記縦軸に沿って位置決めされて配置される、複数の細長いレールと、
前記縦軸に対して所定の角度をなして配置され、前記複数の細長いレールのうちの少なくとも2つの細長いレールを、前記少なくとも2つの細長いレールの各々に沿った別々の点において接続する、接続部材とを備え、
前記膨張可能な部材は、前記内部空洞が第1の断面寸法を有する状態にある第1の配置位置と、前記内部空洞がより大きい第2の断面寸法を有する状態にある第2の配置位置との間において膨張可能であり、
前記細長いレールは、前記第1の配置位置と前記第2の配置位置との間で半径方向へ可動であり、被検者に脊柱ロッドを挿入する間に前記内部空洞が前記縦軸に沿って軸方向につぶれることを防止するような軸方向剛性を有し、
前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1の配置位置において、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも薄いサイズまで圧縮することができ、前記第2の配置位置において、前記膨張可能な部材が、前記第1端部および前記第2端部の全幅よりも太いサイズまで膨張する、脊柱ロッド。 - 前記接続部材が、すべての前記複数の細長いレールより少ない数の前記複数の細長いレールを固定する、請求項14に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記複数の細長いレールが、前記膨張可能な部材の縦軸に対して平行である、請求項14又は15に記載の脊柱ロッド。
- 前記接続部材が、被検者への挿入の間に前記複数の細長いレールの半径方向の運動を可能にするように柔軟である、請求項14乃至16の何れか1項に記載の脊柱ロッド。
