Description
(1)アルミナ質耐火原料、炭化珪素質耐火原料、カーボン質耐火原料、及び粒度10μm以下のシリカ質耐火原料を含む耐火原料と、酸化防止材と、結合剤とを含有したアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物であって、
酸化防止材として、炭化ホウ素を0.1質量%以上3質量%以下、及びシリコンを2質量%以下含有し、結合剤として、CaxSr1−xAl2O4及び/又はCaySr1−yAl4O7の化学組成(但し、0<x<1、0<y<1)を有する成分を1質量%以上10質量%以下含有し、前記粒度10μm以下のシリカ質耐火原料を0.4質量%以上5質量%以下含有して、かつ、粒径45μm以下のアルミナの含有量が0質量%超4質量%未満であることを特徴とするアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。
(2)溶銑が流通するメタルライン部とその上部でスラグが流通するスラグライン部とを有する高炉用樋のスラグライン部をライニングするものである(1)に記載のアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。
(3)前記アルミナ質耐火原料が4.1質量%以上47質量%以下の割合で含まれている前記(1)又は(2)に記載のアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。
耐火原料として、粒度が10mm以下のアルミナ質耐火原料と、粒度が10mm以下の炭化珪素質耐火原料と、カーボンブラックと、粒度が10μm以下のシリカフラワーとを用意し、酸化防止材として、炭化ホウ素と、シリコンとを用意し、結合剤として、CaxSr1−xAl2O4の化学組成を有する成分と、CaySr1−yAl4O7の化学組成を有する成分と、アルミナセメント2種相当とを用意して、これらを表1〜3に示した質量割合で配合して、実施例1〜6及び比較例1〜14に係るアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物とした。これらの実施例及び比較例の不定形耐火物に含まれる粒径45μm以下のアルミナは、アルミナ質耐火原料由来と結合剤由来の合計量である。表の結合剤の欄に示すアルミナ含有量は結合剤として予め混合されている粒径45μm以下のアルミナ量であり、残部の粒径45μm以下のアルミナを、アルミナ質耐火原料として配合した。また、CaxSr1−xAl2O4とCaySr1−yAl4O7の化学組成を有する成分は、純度99%の炭酸カルシウムと純度98%の炭酸ストロンチウムと純度99%のα―アルミナを当該化学組成になるよう配合し、電気炉で1400℃×48時間焼成し、常温まで放冷し、ボールミルで粉砕し、風力分級により20μm以下を回収して準備したものであり、各化学組成におけるx、yの値はそれぞれ表に示したとおりである。
Claims (3)
- アルミナ質耐火原料、炭化珪素質耐火原料、カーボン質耐火原料、及び粒度10μm以下のシリカ質耐火原料を含む耐火原料と、酸化防止材と、結合剤とを含有したアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物であって、
酸化防止材として、炭化ホウ素を0.1質量%以上3質量%以下、及びシリコンを2質量%以下含有し、結合剤として、CaxSr1−xAl2O4及び/又はCaySr1−yAl4O7の化学組成(但し、0<x<1、0<y<1)を有する成分を1質量%以上10質量%以下含有し、前記粒度10μm以下のシリカ質耐火原料を0.4質量%以上5質量%以下含有して、かつ、粒径45μm以下のアルミナの含有量が0質量%超4質量%未満であることを特徴とするアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。 - 溶銑が流通するメタルライン部とその上部でスラグが流通するスラグライン部とを有する高炉用樋のスラグライン部をライニングするものである請求項1に記載のアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。
- 前記アルミナ質耐火原料が4.1質量%以上47質量%以下の割合で含まれている請求項1又は2に記載のアルミナ−炭化珪素−カーボン系不定形耐火物。
