Description
内部空間を有する管状カートリッジと、
骨セメントドウの出発成分または骨セメントドウを、カートリッジから、送出プランジャの反対のカートリッジの開口部を通して吐出するための送出プランジャであって、送出プランジャは、カートリッジの内部空間を長手方向に移動できる、送出プランジャと、
ホースと、
施用開口部であって、骨セメントドウは施用開口部を通して施用できる、施用開口部と、
外側から操作可能であり、ホース内にまたはホースのうちのカートリッジを向く側に配置されるかまたは配置可能な、三方弁であって、三方弁は、三方弁がカートリッジに連結されているときはカートリッジの開口部と流体連結状態である、三方弁と、
骨セメントドウの格納のための、三方弁に配置される回収容器と、
を備え、
三方弁は、
第1の位置にあると、施用開口部とカートリッジの開口部との間の流体連結を実現し、回収容器への供給孔を閉止し、
第2の位置にあると、施用開口部と回収容器との間の流体連結を実現し、カートリッジの開口部への通路を閉止する、
ように、適正に設計され、骨セメントアプリケータに適正に配置されるかまたは配置可能である、
骨セメントアプリケータによって満たされる。
本発明による骨セメントアプリケータを用いた、骨セメントドウの、具体的には、ペースト状の複数成分のポリメチルメタクリレート骨セメントドウの施用方法であって、
所与の順序で進行する以下のステップ、
a)骨セメントドウをカートリッジの内部空間に充填するステップ、または骨セメントドウの出発成分をカートリッジの内部空間に充填するステップと、
b)骨セメントアプリケータを押出し装置に挿入するステップであって、押出し装置は、カートリッジの内部空間においてカートリッジ開口部の方向に、送出プランジャを推進するための軸方向に推進可能なペストルを備える、ステップと、
c)三方弁を第1の位置まで動かすかまたは三方弁が第1の位置に存在していて、押出し装置によって、押出し装置のペストルの軸方向の推進によって、カートリッジの内容物を押し出すステップであって、ペストルは、開口部の方向に送出プランジャを押し、送出プランジャによって、骨セメントドウがホースを通して施用開口部の外に押されるか、または出発成分が混合されて骨セメントドウが形成され、その後、骨セメントドウがホースを通して施用開口部の外に押される、ステップと、
d)三方弁を第2の位置まで動かすステップと、
を含み、
e)三方弁は、三方弁の第2の位置において、カートリッジからホースへの骨セメントドウまたは出発成分の流れを止め、ホース内の骨セメントドウのうちの施用開口部と三方弁との間で加圧される部分が、三方弁によって回収容器中に押される、
方法によっても満たされる。
1.内径が20mm以下(好ましくは15mm)の管状カートリッジと、
2.送出プランジャと、
3.混合要素が軸方向に移動でき外側から操作可能になるように内部に配置される、手動で取外し可能なカートリッジヘッドと、
7.横の緊急リリーフ開口部を有する、カートリッジヘッド上の(より具体的には、カートリッジヘッドに取り付け、配置することができる)(緊急リリーフ弁としての)三方弁と、
8.緊急リリーフ開口部がリザーバの中空空間に連結されるように緊急リリーフ弁(三方弁)の周りに適正に配置される、中空のリザーバ(回収容器)と、
9.一方の端部が緊急リリーフ弁に、他方のホースの端部がルアーシステムアダプタに連結される、ホースと、
から構成される。

Claims (16)
- 脊椎の領域における骨セメントドウ(54)の施用のための骨セメントアプリケータであって、前記骨セメントアプリケータは、
内部空間を有する管状カートリッジ(1)と、
前記骨セメントドウ(54)の出発成分(52)または前記骨セメントドウ(54)を、送出プランジャ(11)の反対の前記カートリッジ(1)の開口部を通して前記カートリッジ(1)から吐出するための送出プランジャ(11)であって、前記送出プランジャ(11)は、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間を長手方向に移動できる、送出プランジャ(11)と、
ホース(4)と、
施用開口部(6)であって、前記骨セメントドウ(54)は前記施用開口部(6)を通して施用できる、施用開口部(6)と、
外側から操作可能であり、前記ホース(4)内にまたは前記ホース(4)のうちの前記カートリッジ(1)を向く側に配置される、三方弁(2)であって、前記三方弁(2)は、前記三方弁(2)が前記カートリッジ(1)に連結されているときは前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部と流体連結状態である、三方弁(2)と、
前記骨セメントドウ(54)の格納のための、前記三方弁(2)に配置される回収容器(9)と、
を備え、
前記三方弁(2)は、
第1の位置にあると、前記施用開口部(6)と前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部との間の流体連結を実現し、前記回収容器(9)への供給孔(20)を閉止し、
第2の位置にあると、前記施用開口部(6)と前記回収容器(9)との間の流体連結を実現し、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部への通路(19)を閉止する、
ように、適正に設計され、前記骨セメントアプリケータに適正に配置されるかまたは配置可能である、骨セメントアプリケータ。 - 前記骨セメントドウ(54)の混合のためのミキサ(14)、具体的には、スタティックミキサ(14)が、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部の下流に、または前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部と前記三方弁(2)もしくは前記ホース(4)との間に、配置されるかまたは配置可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記三方弁(2)は、前記ミキサ(14)と前記ホース(4)との間に配置されるかまたは配置可能であり、前記三方弁(2)は、前記第1の位置にあると、前記施用開口部(6)と前記ミキサ(14)との間の流体連結を実現し、前記第2の位置にあると、前記ミキサ(14)への前記通路(19)を閉止することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記骨セメントアプリケータは、手動操作式の押出し装置によって操作可能であり、前記送出プランジャ(11)は、手動の力によって前記カートリッジ(1)内を移動可能であり、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間の断面積は、最大3.5cm2であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記ホース(4)の少なくとも一部分が可撓性であり、かつ/または前記施用開口部(6)は、雌ねじ(26)を有する連結部(5)に、具体的には、ルアーシステムアダプタ(5)にもしくはトロカールに配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記回収容器(9)は、前記外側に向かって前記骨セメントドウ(54)を透過せず、かつ/または前記回収容器(9)は、前記ホース(4)の体積の少なくとも半分程度の大きさの体積を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記回収容器(9)は流体密であるか、もしくは流体密および気密であり、かつ/または前記回収容器(9)は、前記ホース(4)の前記体積と少なくとも同程度の大きさの体積を有することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記カートリッジ(1)は、その後方側に、押出し装置の取付けのための取付け要素(8)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記カートリッジ(1)は筒状の前記内部空間を備え、かつ/または前記送出プランジャ(11)は、前記カートリッジ(1)の内壁に接して流体密になるように閉じることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記送出プランジャ(11)は、少なくとも1つの周囲シール(38)および/またはワイパリップによって、前記カートリッジ(1)の内壁に接して流体密になるようにそしてぴったりと閉じることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部は、カートリッジヘッド(10)に、具体的には、前記カートリッジ(1)に着脱可能なように連結されるカートリッジヘッド(10)に配置され、取付け手段が、具体的には、雄ねじが、前記開口部の領域に設けられ、前記取付け手段によって、前記ホース(4)または前記三方弁(2)は、前記カートリッジ(1)に連結されるかまたは連結可能であり、具体的には、シール手段によって耐圧になるように連結されるかまたは連結可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 混合機構(34、36、40)が設けられ、前記混合機構(34、36、40)によって、前記カートリッジ(1)の内容物が前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間内で混合可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記混合機構(34、36、40)は、前記カートリッジ(1)に連結されると外側から操作され得ることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記混合機構(34、36、40)は、混合ロッド(34)および混合羽根(40)を含み、前記混合ロッド(34)に連結される複数の前記混合羽根(40)が前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間に配置され、前記混合羽根(40)は、前記混合機構(34、36、40)が前記カートリッジ(1)に連結されると、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間で出発成分(52)を混合するために、前記混合ロッド(34)の動きによって、具体的には、前記混合ロッド(34)の軸方向の線形の動きおよび回転によって、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間を移動可能であることを特徴とする、請求項12または13に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記混合機構(34、36、40)は、具体的には、前記混合機構(34、36、40)の前記混合ロッド(34)は、前記カートリッジ(1)の前記開口部を通して前記カートリッジ(1)の前記内部空間に案内され、前記混合機構(34、36、40)は、前記カートリッジ(1)から取り外し可能であることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
- 前記混合機構(34、36、40)は、前記カートリッジ(1)に連結されているときは前記カートリッジ(1)の外に抜くことが可能であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の骨セメントアプリケータ。
