Description
Claims (5)
- ガス発生剤を燃焼させることによって膨張用ガスを発生させるインフレーター本体と、該インフレーター本体に配設されて前記ガス発生剤の劣化状況を検知するセンサーと、を備え、
該センサーが、前記ガス発生剤の劣化状況を、リアルタイム若しくは定期的に検知可能なガスセンサーから構成されていることを特徴とするインフレーター。 - 前記インフレーター本体が、
前記ガス発生剤と、
前記ガス発生剤を燃焼させるように点火する点火装置と、
前記ガス発生剤と前記点火装置とを収納し、前記ガス発生剤を燃焼させた燃焼ガスからなる前記膨張用ガスを吐出させるためのガス吐出口を備えたハウジングと、
を備えて構成されるとともに、
前記センサーが、前記点火装置による前記ガス発生剤の点火部位と前記ガス吐出口とを結ぶ直線から遠ざかるように離れて、前記ガス発生剤を収納したエリアにおける前記ハウジングの内側面に、配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインフレーター。 - 前記インフレーター本体が、
前記ガス発生剤と、
前記ガス発生剤を燃焼させるように点火する点火装置と、
前記ガス発生剤の燃焼ガスと併せて前記膨張用ガスを形成する加圧ガスと、
前記ガス発生剤、前記点火装置、及び、前記加圧ガスを収納して、前記膨張用ガスを吐出させるためのガス吐出口を備えたハウジングと、
を備えて構成されるとともに、
前記ハウジングが、
前記ガス発生剤と前記点火装置とを収納して、前記ガス発生剤を燃焼させた燃焼ガスを流出するガス流出口を有した燃焼室側部と、
前記加圧ガスを収納するとともに、前記燃焼ガスと前記加圧ガスとを混合させた前記膨張用ガスを形成可能に、前記ガス流出口と連通するように配設されて、前記ガス吐出口を有した加圧ガス室側部と、
を備えて構成されて、
前記センサーが、前記点火装置による前記ガス発生剤の点火部位と前記ガス流出口とを結ぶ直線から遠ざかるように離れて、前記ガス発生剤を収納したエリアにおける前記燃焼室側部の内側面に、配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインフレーター。 - 前記センサーが、前記点火装置の近傍に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項2若しくは請求項3に記載のインフレーター。
- 前記センサーにおける前記ガス発生剤の劣化状況を検知する検知部が、前記ガス発生剤を燃焼可能に収納した前記インフレーター本体の収納部位の内側面に、露出して配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のインフレーター。
