Description
図1は、本開示の一実施形態の例示的なVリブドベルト(摩擦伝動ベルト)を示す。このVリブドベルトBは、例えば、自動車のエンジンルーム内に設けられる補機駆動ベルト伝動装置を構成するのに用いられるものであり、ベルト周長700〜3000mm、ベルト幅10〜36mm、及びベルト厚さ4.0〜5.0mmである。
次に、VリブドベルトBの製造方法を、図3及び図4に基づいて説明する。ここでは、ベルト成形装置20を使用する。ベルト成形装置20は、円筒状のゴムスリーブ型21と、それを嵌合する円筒状外型22とを備える。
ベルトを形成するために、以下に説明するゴム組成物を調整した。組成については、表1にも示している。
Vリブ15の表面を被覆する布層16として、以下のニット布1〜ニット布7を用意した。これについては、表2にも示している。いずれも、ウレタン糸(ポリウレタン弾性糸、33dtex)を芯糸とし、表に示す他の繊維をカバーリング糸としたカバーリングヤーンを編布としたものである。
ニット布1は、30番手のポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)の紡績糸をカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。
ニット布2は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートの中空糸(帝人社、エアロカプセル)をカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。中空糸は繊維数24で110dtexである。
ニット布3は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートの異形断面糸(帝人社、カルキュロ)をカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。異形断面糸は繊維数24で84dtexである。また、この場合の糸の断面は不定形である。
ニット布4は、アラミドの紡績糸をカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。アラミドは40番手である。
ニット布5は、吸水性であるアクリレート繊維をカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。より詳しくは、アクリレート繊維30%及びポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維70%をカバーリング糸とする糸とからなる編布である。
ニット布6は、マイクロファイバーをカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。マイクロファイバーは、ポリエチレンテレフタレートとポリアミドからなる割繊糸であって、84dtex(繊維数20、各繊維はPET部分が17に割繊されている)である。
ニット布7は、マイクロファイバーをカバーリング糸とする糸からなる編布である。マイクロファイバーは、繊維数144で84dtexのポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維である。
上記のゴム組成物を用いて圧縮ゴム層11を形成し、布層16となる布16’として上記ニット布1〜7を用いたVリブドベルトを作成し、実施例1〜7とした。また、比較例として、研削によりVリブを形成し、布層16を備えていないVリブドベルトを作成した。
図4は、注水異音試験用ベルト走行試験機40のプーリレイアウトを示す。

Claims (7)
- ベルト本体がプーリに巻き掛けられて動力を伝達する摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記ベルト本体における少なくともプーリ接触側表面を被覆するように編布である吸水性布が設けられており、
上記吸水性布の一部が、上記ベルト本体を構成するゴム組成物に埋まっており、
上記吸水性布を構成する糸は、芯糸及びカバーリング糸を有するカバーリングヤーンであり、
上記芯糸は弾性糸であり、
上記カバーリング糸として紡績糸、異形断面糸、マイクロファイバー又は中空糸を用いることにより、上記カバーリングヤーンを吸水性としていることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1に記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記カバーリング糸は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリアミド及びアラミドのいずれか1つであるか又は複数の混合物であることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記吸水性布を構成する糸における前記カバーリング糸は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリアミド又はアラミドの紡績糸であることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記吸水性布を構成する糸における前記カバーリング糸は、異形断面糸であることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記吸水性布を構成する糸における前記カバーリング糸は、マイクロファイバーであることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記吸水性布を構成する糸における前記カバーリング糸は、中空糸であることを特徴とする摩擦伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の摩擦伝動ベルトにおいて、
ベルト成形型における上記プーリ接触側表面を形成するためのリブ型を備える金型に、ベルト形成用のゴム層の表面に布を巻き付けた成形体を圧接させると共に架橋させることにより製造された摩擦伝動ベルト。
