Description
Claims (17)
- 脚がコンベアの吊り下げフックに吊り下げられた屠畜動物である家禽(1)であって前記家禽から総排出腔が取り除かれた後に開口部が形成された家禽(1)を切開する方法であって、
実質的に前記家禽の第1の方向に伸び、前記総排出腔(7)の開口部から離れている第1の切開(9)を前記家禽の皮膚に対して行うステップを含み、
前記第1の切開(9)につながり、前記第1の切開に対して角度を付けて伸びる第2の切開(8)を前記家禽の皮膚に行うステップを含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記第1の切開(9)は前記家禽(1)の腹部側(3)で実質的に横平面に伸びる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の切開(8)は前記家禽(1)の腹部側(3)で実質的に中央平面に伸びる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1または第2の切開(9、8)の一端はそれぞれ前記第2または第1の切開(8、9)の一部と実質的に一致する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2または第1の切開(8、9)の前記一部はそれぞれ前記第2または第1の切開(8、9)の一端となって「L」字形の切込を形成する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記第2または第1の切開(8、9)の前記一部はそれぞれ前記第2または第1の切開(8、9)の中央部となって「T」字形の切込を形成する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の切開(9)の長さは前記第2の切開(8)の長さより短い、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記皮膚(10)は前記第1および/または第2の切開(8、9)が行われる前に伸張され、前記第1および/または第2の切開(8、9)が行われる間前記皮膚(10)の伸張状態が維持される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の切開(8)は前記家禽の総排出腔(7)から行われる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の切開および前記第2の切開によって形成された前記開口部を通して前記家禽の内臓の少なくとも一部を取り除くステップをさらに含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法を使って、脚(5、6)がコンベアの吊り下げフックに吊り下げられた屠畜動物である家禽(1)であって前記家禽から総排出腔が取り除かれた後に開口部が形成された家禽(1)を切開する装置であって、
前記家禽の皮膚に対して、実質的に前記家禽の第1の方向に伸び、前記総排出腔(7)の開口部から離れている第1の切開を行うよう設計された第1の切込手段(18)と、
前記第1の切開につながり、前記第1の切開に対して角度を付けて伸びる第2の切開を前記家禽の皮膚に行うよう設計された第2の切込手段(16)を備えることを特徴とする、装置。 - 前記家禽の前記皮膚を伸張する伸張手段をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記伸張手段は前記第2の切込手段の近くに設けられる、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の切込手段は回転切込部材(28)を備える、請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の切込手段は前記第1の切込手段に対向して位置する、請求項11〜14のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 請求項11〜15のいずれか1項に記載の装置と、脚(5、6)を有する家禽(1)を吊り下げるための吊り下げフックを備えたコンベアとを組み合わせたシステム。
- 前記装置は、スロットを通して上方向に動かすことができ、家禽を吊り下げることができるさらなる吊り下げフック(13a、13b)を備える、請求項16に記載のシステム。
