Description

本開示は、外科用器具に関しており、より具体的には、外科用器具に対する非接触電気インターフェースに関している。
電力式外科用器具は、概して、ハンドル部分と、患者に接触する該ハンドル部分から延びている作動部分とを有している。作動部分は、その要素に電力供給するためのエネルギーを必要とし得、そして、その複数のセンサからデータを収集し得る。電力は、ハンドル部分から作動部分へと移送され得、データは、電気インターフェースを介して作動部分からハンドル部分へと移送され得る。伝統的に、電気インターフェースは、作動部分がハンドル部分から取り外されることを可能にするガルバニック電気接続を含んでいる。各使用後、電力式外科用器具は、廃棄されるか、再使用されるか、または、部分的に廃棄されそして部分的に再使用される。再使用される電力式外科用器具の任意の部分は、再使用前に、潜在的感染性病原体を無力化するために、高圧蒸気滅菌によって滅菌される必要がある。

- 前記アダプタの遠位端に解放可能に結合され、かつ、第2電気インターフェースを形成しているローディングユニットをさらに含み、前記第2電気インターフェースは、前記アダプタから前記ローディングユニットへエネルギーをインダクティブに移送するように構成されており、かつ、前記ローディングユニットから前記アダプタへデータ信号をインダクティブに伝送するように構成されている、請求項1および請求項2のいずれか一項に記載の外科用器具。
- 外科用器具の構成要素の間の通信のための方法であって、
前記方法は、
ハンドルおよびアダプタを含む外科用器具を提供することであって、前記アダプタは、前記ハンドルの遠位端に解放可能に結合される、ことと、
前記アダプタの近位端を前記ハンドルの遠位端に結合することにより、それらの間に非接触電気インターフェースを形成することと、
前記非接触電気インターフェースを用いて、前記ハンドル内に配置されたエネルギー源から前記アダプタへエネルギーをワイヤレスに移送することと、
前記非接触電気インターフェースを用いて、前記アダプタから前記ハンドルへデータをワイヤレスに伝送することと
を含み、前記ハンドルは、突起を含み、前記アダプタは、前記アダプタが前記ハンドルに結合されているときに前記突起を受け取る凹部を画定し、前記非接触電気インターフェースは、前記突起内に配置された近位電気コイルと、前記凹部に隣接する位置において前記アダプタ内に配置された遠位電気コイルとを含み、
前記非接触電気インターフェースを形成することは、前記凹部に隣接する位置において前記アダプタ内に配置された前記遠位電気コイルに隣接して、前記突起内に配置された前記近位電気コイルを位置付けることにより、変圧器を形成することを含み、前記エネルギー源からエネルギーをワイヤレスに移送することは、前記ハンドルから前記アダプタへ前記変圧器を横断してエネルギーをインダクティブに移送することを含み、前記アダプタから前記ハンドルへデータをワイヤレスに伝送することは、前記アダプタから前記ハンドルへ前記変圧器を横断してデータをインダクティブに伝送することを含む、方法。 - 前記非接触電気インターフェースは、前記ハンドルから前記アダプタへ制御信号をワイヤレスに伝送するように構成されている制御回路を含み、前記制御回路は、前記突起内に配置された近位制御コイルと、前記凹部に隣接する位置において前記アダプタ内に配置された遠位制御コイルとを含み、前記近位制御コイルおよび前記遠位制御コイルは、前記アダプタが前記ハンドルに結合されたときに、制御変圧器を形成することにより、前記ハンドルから前記アダプタへ制御信号をインダクティブに伝送する、請求項16に記載の方法。
