Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置は、表示面29と反対の背面に反射層23を有する四角形の液晶パネル13と、液晶パネル13と略同一の四角形で形成されて表示面に積層され、一端面31から入射した光を乱反射させて表示面29へ向けて出射させる導光板15と、導光板15の反対側で液晶パネル13と平行に配置され、一端面31に沿う一辺部78を挟む一対の辺部に導光板15の位置を規制する折曲側板部45がそれぞれ形成される背面フレーム37と、一端面31と対向するLED固定板55に一端面31へ光を入射させるLED21が搭載され、LED固定板55に対して垂直に曲がって形成された背面フレーム固定板部58が背面フレーム37の液晶パネル13と反対側の面に固定されるLED保持板41と、を備える。

Description
従来、透過型の液晶表示装置は、導光板が液晶パネルの背面側に配置される。これら液晶パネルおよび導光板を支持する背面フレームは、導光板を挟んで液晶パネルの反対側に配置されるため、導光板の厚み分の折曲部を各辺部に形成することが可能となる。これに対し、太陽光下での環境でも高視認性を提供可能な反射型の液晶表示装置では、導光板が液晶パネルの表示面側に配置される。その結果、液晶表示装置の厚さを薄く構成しようとした場合、背面フレームは、液晶パネルを挟んで導光板の反対側に直ぐに配置される。このため、フレキシブル配線基板が導出される液晶パネルの端面に沿う背面フレームの一辺部には、フレキシブル配線基板の導出を遮る折曲部が形成できない。背面フレームは、折曲部を形成できない一辺部が表裏面側に撓みやすくなり、液晶表示装置としての強度を確保しにくくする問題があった。
図1は、実施の形態1に係る液晶表示装置11の外観斜視図である。実施の形態1に係る液晶表示装置11は、液晶パネル13と、導光板15と、フレーム17と、を主要な構成として有する。
導光板15(アクリル樹脂材)の線膨張係数は、7×10−5/℃
背面フレーム37(アルミ材)の線膨張係数は、2.35×10−5/℃
常温20℃から60℃に温度上昇したときのL寸法の変化量B

Claims (6)
- 表示面と反対の背面に反射層を有する四角形の液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルと略同一の四角形で形成されて前記表示面に積層され、一端面から入射した光を乱反射させて前記表示面へ向けて出射させる導光板と、
前記液晶パネルと略同一の四角形で形成されて前記液晶パネルを挟み、前記導光板の反対側で前記液晶パネルと平行に配置され、前記一端面に沿う一辺部を挟む一対の辺部に前記導光板の位置を規制する折曲側板部がそれぞれ形成される背面フレームと、
前記一端面と対向する光源固定板に前記一端面へ光を入射させる光源が搭載され、前記光源固定板に対して垂直に曲がって形成された固定板部が前記背面フレームの前記液晶パネルと反対側の面に固定される光源保持板と、を備える、
液晶表示装置。 - 前記背面フレームの前記液晶パネルと反対側の面には中継基板が固定され、
前記液晶パネルに一端が接続された配線基板の他端が、前記背面フレームの前記一辺部を跨いで前記中継基板に接続される、
請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記固定板部の前記光源固定板と反対側の端縁にZ曲げ部が形成され、
