Description
本発明の実施形態による回転型排熱回収装置は、内部に高温の排気ガスがバイパスされるバイパス通路12および前記バイパス通路12の側部に半円筒形状に拡張されて排気ガスが通過する拡張部14を含む排気ガス管10、および前記排気ガス管10の内部に回転可能に収容され、バイパス通路12から供給される高温の排気ガスと冷却水流入口31を通して流入する低温の冷却水との間に熱交換が行われる半円筒形状の熱交換器20を含み、前記熱交換器20の側面は、扁平な面で形成される直径面21および湾曲した面で形成される円弧面22からなり、前記熱交換器20の直径面21は、熱交換器20の回転軸23を基準に一側面は閉鎖されており、他側面は排気ガスが流入して排気ガス通路40を通して流動できるように貫通形成される排気ガス入口41を備えることを特徴とする。
図3に示すように、車両の始動初期時、エンジン(図示せず)から排出される排気ガスはバイパス入口11を通して排気ガス管10の内部に流入され、冷却水はエンジンと連結した冷却水流入口31を通して冷却水通路30に流入する。

Claims (5)
- 内部に高温の排気ガスがバイパスされるバイパス通路および前記バイパス通路の側部に半円筒形状に拡張されて排気ガスが通過する拡張部を含む排気ガス管と、
前記排気ガス管の内部に回転可能に収容され、バイパス通路から供給される高温の排気ガスと冷却水流入口を通して流入する低温の冷却水との間に熱交換が行われる半円筒形状の熱交換器を含み、
前記熱交換器の側面は、扁平な面で形成される直径面および湾曲した面で形成される円弧面からなり、
前記熱交換器の直径面は、熱交換器の回転軸を基準に一側面は閉鎖されており、他側面は排気ガスが流入して排気ガス通路を通して流動できるように貫通形成される排気ガス入口を備え、
前記熱交換器の前記円弧面の一側には前記排気ガス通路を通して流動した前記排気ガスが排出できるように貫通した排気ガス出口が形成され、
前記熱交換器が回転して拡張部に収納された時、円弧面と拡張部の内側面は完全に接触して、前記排気ガス出口が前記拡張部の内側面によって閉鎖されることを特徴とする回転型排熱回収装置。 - 前記冷却水流入口は、前記熱交換器の上端に結合され、前記熱交換器の内部に形成された冷却水通路に前記冷却水を流入させ、
前記熱交換器の下端には、前記冷却水通路へ流動した前記冷却水を排出できるように形成された冷却水排出口が結合され、
前記冷却水流入口および冷却水排出口は、前記熱交換器の回転軸と同一線上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転型排熱回収装置。 - 前記冷却水流入口および冷却水排出口の末端には、前記熱交換器の回転に応じた前記冷却水流入口および冷却水排出口の動きを受けることができるように柔軟な素材で形成されたホースが結合されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の回転型排熱回収装置。
- 前記熱交換器は、
前記冷却水流入口を通して流入した前記冷却水が流動できるように形成された半円板状の複数の冷却水通路と、前記排気ガスが流動できるように形成された半円板状の複数の前記排気ガス通路とが互いに平行に隣り合って交互に積層される形態で配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転型排熱回収装置。 - 前記熱交換器は、
前記冷却水流入口を通して流入した前記冷却水が流動できるように形成された半円板状の複数の冷却水通路が互いに平行に離隔して配置され、前記冷却水通路の間に前記排気ガスが流動できるように形成された管状の複数の前記排気ガス通路が互いに離隔して配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転型排熱回収装置。
