Description
さらに好ましい実施形態では、前記保持部は、前記外輪を弾性支持する少なくとも2つの弾性部材を有し、前記冷却用グリースは、前記2つの弾性部材と前記外輪と前記保持部とで囲まれる領域に充填され、ポンプ使用温度において前記領域の外部に流出しないようなグリース状態を維持する。
さらに好ましい実施形態では、前記外輪と接触する接触部と、該接触部から延設されて前記冷却用グリースが充填される領域に設けられる放熱部とを有し、前記外輪よりも熱伝導率の高い放熱部材をさらに備える。
さらに好ましい実施形態では、前記冷却用グリースは、ポンプ使用温度において離油度が10%以下である。
さらに好ましい実施形態では、前記冷却用グリースは、温度20℃における飽和蒸気圧が10−8Pa以下のフッ素グリースである。
図3は、本実施の形態の第1の変形例を示す図である。第1の変形例では、冷却グリースが充填される隙間21a,21bの径方向隙間寸法を図2の場合よりも小さくして、隙間21a,21b部分のベース内周面210,211と外輪81の外周面との距離を小さくした。図3に示す例では、径方向隙間寸法を図2に示した寸法Gと等しく設定し、0.1mm〜0.3mm程度とした。外輪81の熱は、外輪81から隙間21a,21bに充填された冷却用グリースを介してベース2に伝達される。そのため、図3のようにベース内周面210,211を外輪81の外周面に近づけて、冷却用グリースの伝熱距離を小さくすることで、外輪81からベース2への放熱性能の向上を図ることができる。
図4は、本実施の形態の第2の変形例を示す図である。上述した第1の変形例では、外輪81からベース2への放熱性能を向上させるために、外輪81とベース内周面210,211との隙間寸法を小さく設定した。一方、図4に示す第2の変形例では、外輪81と接触する放熱部材82を設けた。
Claims (5)
- ロータを支持する転がり軸受と、
前記転がり軸受の外輪を弾性的に保持する保持部と、
前記外輪と前記保持部との間に充填され、NLGI番号が1.5以下であるちょう度の冷却用グリースと、を備え、
前記転がり軸受で発生した熱を前記冷却用グリースを介して前記保持部へ伝達する、真空ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の真空ポンプにおいて、
前記保持部は、前記外輪を弾性支持する少なくとも2つの弾性部材を有し、
前記冷却用グリースは、前記2つの弾性部材と前記外輪と前記保持部とで囲まれる領域に充填され、ポンプ使用温度において前記領域の外部に流出しないようなグリース状態を維持する、真空ポンプ。 - 請求項2に記載の真空ポンプにおいて、
前記外輪と接触する接触部と、該接触部から延設されて前記冷却用グリースが充填される領域に設けられる放熱部とを有し、前記外輪よりも熱伝導率の高い放熱部材をさらに備える真空ポンプ。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の真空ポンプにおいて、
前記冷却用グリースは、ポンプ使用温度において離油度が10%以下である、真空ポンプ。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の真空ポンプにおいて、
前記冷却用グリースは、温度20℃における飽和蒸気圧が10−8Pa以下のフッ素グリースである、真空ポンプ。
