Description

本発明は印刷サービスシステムに関し、特に、情報ネットワークを介して画像蓄積サーバーに蓄積された画像をプリント端末でプリントする印刷サービスシステムに関する。
従来の印刷サービスシステムとしては、例えば、特許文献１〜３に開示されるように、画像蓄積サーバーまたはカードメディアから読み込んだ画像を印刷するシステムが挙げられる。
特許文献１の印刷サービスシステムにおいては、プリント端末でサーバーに蓄積された画像をプリントする際には、プリント端末に装備されたタッチパネル等からユーザー毎に割り振られたＩＤコードとパスワードをユーザーが入力することで、サーバーに蓄積された画像を読み出してプリントすることができる。
また、特許文献２には、プリント端末でサーバーに蓄積された画像をプリントする際には、以前に印刷された印刷物の裏に印刷された画像識別情報を画像識別情報読み取り装置で読み取り、当該画像識別情報に対応付けられた画像をサーバーからダウンロードしてプリントする技術が開示されている。
また、上記特許文献３には、プリント端末でサーバーに蓄積された画像をプリントする際には、電子メールにて配信された画像識別情報を識別情報取得部で読み取り、当該画像識別情報に対応付けられた画像をサーバーからダウンロードしてプリントする技術が開示されている。

特許文献２に開示されるプリント端末は、特許文献１に開示の印刷サービスシステムにおけるプリント端末のようなＩＤコード、パスワードの入力が不要となり、プリントまでの時間短縮と、ＩＤコード、パスワードの誤入力防止が実現でき、画像毎のＩＤコード管理が実現できるが、一方で、印刷物の裏面に画像識別情報を印刷する必要があり、背面印刷プリンタ、またはその他の背面印刷手段を装備する必要があった。
また、画像識別情報読み取り装置のないプリント端末では画像識別情報読み取り装置も装備する必要がありコストアップの原因となる。また、以前に印刷された印刷物をプリント端末まで持ち運び、画像識別情報を読み取らせる必要があり、その度に印画物が汚れたり、破損する可能性があった。
また、特許文献３に開示されるプリント端末は、識別情報取得部、メール配信部を要するため、その機能を有した装置を追加する必要がありコストアップの原因となる。また、携帯電話を所有していないと利用できないサービスとなっていた。
本発明は上記のような問題を解決するためになされたものであり、画像蓄積サーバーに蓄積された画像をプリント端末においてプリントするまでの操作を簡略化した印刷サービスシステムを提供することを目的とする。
本発明に係る印刷サービスシステムは、入力された画像データを印刷して印刷画像として出力するプリント端末と、前記プリント端末と公衆網を介して接続され、前記公衆網を介して前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データおよび前記プリント端末のユーザーを識別するユーザー識別情報とを蓄積する画像蓄積サーバーとを備え、前記プリント端末は、前記印刷画像のうち、前記ユーザーによって指定されたユーザー識別情報画像にデータとして含まれる撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を取得し、取得した撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報に基づいて、前記ユーザー識別情報を作成し、前記撮影位置情報の精度を変更することで、前記ユーザー識別情報のセキュリティーの強弱を変更し、前記画像蓄積サーバーは、前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データと前記ユーザー識別情報とを関連付けて前記ユーザー毎に画像ディレクトリを作成して蓄積し、前記プリント端末は、前記ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データの再入力を受けた場合、前記画像蓄積サーバーに対して、前記ユーザー識別情報を再送信し、前記画像蓄積サーバーは、前記ユーザー識別情報の再送信を受け、内部に再送信された前記ユーザー識別情報を含む画像ディレクトリがある場合は、該画像ディレクトリ内の前記画像データを前記プリント端末に対して送信する。
本発明によれば、画像蓄積サーバーに蓄積された画像をプリント端末において印刷するまでの操作を簡略化できる。

＜実施の形態１＞
＜装置構成＞
本発明に係る印刷サービスシステムの構成について、図１に示すブロック図を用いて説明する。図１に示すように本発明に係る印刷サービスシステムは、プリント端末１００と画像蓄積サーバー２００とを備え、両者がインターネット１１等の公衆網に接続された構成となっている。なお、以下の説明においてユーザーとは、印刷サービスシステムの利用者であり、印刷を希望する画像の画像データの所有者であるものと定義する。
図１に示すように、プリント端末１００は、コントロール部１、画像・音声指示部２、画像読み取り部３、料金精算器４、画像プリンタ５、入力部６、メール配信装置７、撮影位置日時情報取得装置８、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９およびネットワークインターフェース（Ｉ／Ｆ）１０を備えている。
コントロール部１は、プリント端末１００の上述した各構成と接続されており（図示省略）、各構成の状態の管理、各構成の制御を行うためのハードウェアおよびソフトウェアを有している。
画像・音声指示部２は、液晶モニターまたはＣＲＴ（cathode-ray tube）などで構成される画像表示部（ディスプレイ）と、スピーカーなどで構成される音声指示部を有し、ユーザーに操作を指示する部位である。
画像読み取り部３は、ユーザーが印刷を希望する画像（印刷画像）を記憶させたコンパクトフラッシュ（登録商標）カードなどのメディアカードのリーダーライタ（図示省略）を介して入力される画像データ、または、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１０を介して画像蓄積サーバー２００からダウンロードする画像データ、または、ＷｉＦｉ（登録商標）などの無線通信および携帯電話データ通信用のケーブルを介して携帯電話内に記録された画像データを読み取る部位である。
料金精算器４は、ユーザーが使用した料金を精算するための機器であり、画像プリンタ５は、画像読み取り部３で読み取られた画像の中からユーザーが指定した画像を印刷する機器であり、入力部６は、ユーザーがメニューの選択、印刷枚数、画像の指定等を行うためのタッチパネルが付属した入力ディスプレイ、キーボード、マウスなどを含んでいる。
撮影位置日時情報取得装置８は、画像読み取り部３で読み取られた画像データにおいて、ＥＸＩＦなどの画像ファイルフォーマットに含まれる付加情報の中から撮影位置情報と撮影日時情報を取得する装置であり、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９は、撮影位置日時情報取得装置８で取得された撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を用いて、ユーザー識別情報を生成する装置である。
ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１０は、プリント端末１００から画像データを画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードする場合および画像蓄積サーバー２００に蓄積された画像データを、プリント端末１００にダウンロードする場合にインターネット１１との接続を行う部位である。
また、図１に示すように、画像蓄積サーバー２００は、プリント端末１００との間でインターネット１１を介して通信する場合にインターネット１１との接続を行うネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３と、ユーザーがアップロードした画像データをユーザー識別情報と関連付けてディレクトリ単位で蓄積するデータ蓄積部１４と、データ蓄積部１４内の画像ディレクトリの有効期限を管理する有効期限管理装置１７と、データ蓄積部１４内に格納されている画像データ、ユーザー識別情報の抽出および管理等を行うユーザー識別情報管理装置１８とを備えている。
＜動作＞
次に、実施の形態１の印刷サービスシステムの動作について、図２および図３を用いて説明する。図２は、プリント端末１００におけるユーザー操作を説明するフローチャートである。
プリント端末１００を利用するユーザーは、プリント端末１００の入力ディスプレイによる表示および音声ガイドなどの指示に従って、印刷したい画像の画像データが格納された携帯電話、ＣＤ（compact disc）、ＤＶＤ（digital versatile disc）、カードメディアなどから、印刷したい画像の画像データをプリント端末１００に入力する（ステップＳ１）。
次に、ユーザーはプリント端末１００の指示に従って、印刷する画像を選択すると共に、選択した画像をどの印刷メディアにプリントするかを選択し、用紙サイズ、印刷枚数を設定する（ステップＳ２）。ここで、選択する印刷メディアとしては、普通紙、保護層付き普通紙、シール紙などの用紙を選択でき、また、用紙サイズとしては、葉書きサイズ（ポストサイズ）、Ｌ判、２Ｌ判などのサイズを選択できる。また、プリント端末１００が複数の印刷方式を導入している場合には、例えば、昇華型プリンタ、インクジェット型プリンタなどから印刷方式を選択することも可能である。
次に、ユーザーはプリント端末１００の指示に従って、ステップＳ２で選択した画像のうち、画像蓄積サーバー２００に蓄積（アップロード）する画像を選択する（ステップＳ３）。画像データを画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードしておくことで、ＣＤ、ＤＶＤなどを歩かなくても、プリント端末１００から画像の印刷が可能となる。なお、印刷することを選択した画像だけでなく、非選択の画像もアップロードするように選択することも可能である。
次に、ユーザーは画像蓄積サーバー２００に画像を蓄積する際に、セキュリティーのためのユーザー識別情報として使用する画像（ユーザー識別情報画像）を一つ選択する（ステップＳ４）。このユーザー識別情報画像は、ユーザー識別情報を生成するための情報を有していることが必要であり、当該情報については後に説明する。
次に、ユーザーはプリント端末１００の指示に従って、ユーザーがステップＳ４で選択したユーザー識別情報画像を忘れてしまった場合の備忘録として、ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データを、ユーザー宛に電子メールを送信する際のメールアドレスを指定する（ステップＳ５）。
ここで、ユーザー識別情報について説明する。デジタルカメラなどで撮影された画像は、一般的な画像形式であるＪＰＥＧまたはＴＩＦＦなどに変換されて記録される。ＪＰＥＧまたはＴＩＦＦで記録された画像データには、ＥＸＩＦ（Exchangeable image file format）などの規格によって定義された付加情報のデータが同時に記録される。なお、ＥＸＩＦは登録商標である。
ＥＸＩＦに記録される情報としては、撮影日時、撮影機器のメーカー名、画像の解像度、撮影方向、シャッタースピード、絞り値、ＩＳＯ感度値、フラッシュ撮影の有無、焦点距離、撮影位置情報（経度、緯度、標高）、サムネイル画像などの撮影に関わる情報が含まれている。
このうち、本発明では、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を主に利用して、ユーザー識別情報を生成するものであり、ステップＳ５で指定したメールアドレスには、備忘録として、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報が含まれたユーザー識別情報画像の画像データが送信されて来る。このため、ユーザーがユーザー識別情報画像を忘れてしまった場合でも、アップロードした画像の再印刷が可能となる。
ユーザーがセキュリティーをさらに強化することを希望する場合には、プリント端末１００の指示に従って、撮影位置情報の精度の設定、撮影日時情報の精度の設定およびパスワードの設定が可能である（ステップＳ６）。ここで、撮影の位置情報の精度の設定方法としては、経度、緯度の精度を設定することが考えられる。なお、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報の精度を低くすれば、セキュリティーが弱くなり、精度を高くすればセキュリティーが強くなる。
次に、ユーザーはプリント端末１００の指示に従って、画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードする画像データの有効期限を設定する（ステップＳ７）。有効期限は、アップロードする画像データを画像蓄積サーバー２００に蓄積する期限を指し、当該該画像データが画像蓄積サーバー２００から流出する可能性を想定し、必要以上の期間、画像蓄積サーバーに蓄積しないことを目的として設定される。また、画像蓄積サーバー２００に長期間、同一画像データが蓄積されることによるサーバー容量の増大を防ぐことも目的としている。なお、設定された有効期限は、画像蓄積サーバー２００に画像ディレクトリ毎に記録される。
次に、ユーザーはプリント端末１００の指示に従って、料金を投入する（ステップＳ８）。ここで投入する料金は、画像を印刷するための料金と、画像を画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードするための料金である。必要な料金はコントロール部１（図１）において算出され、料金精算器４（図１）を介して料金を支払うことになるが、料金精算器４は、コインメックなどの硬貨選別機およびビルバリ（登録商標）などの紙幣識別機を備えた現金投入型の課金機を用いても良いし、Ｅｄｙ（登録商標）などの電子マネー対応機器を用いても良い。
料金が支払われると、プリント端末１００は、ステップＳ２で選択された印刷対象画像の印刷を開始し（ステップＳ９）、同時に、ステップＳ３で画像蓄積サーバー２００に蓄積することを選択された（アップロード選択された）画像の画像データが、画像蓄積サーバー２００に画像識別情報と共にアップロードされる（ステップＳ１０）。また、ステップＳ４で選択されたユーザー識別情報画像の画像ファイル名、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報が、メール配信装置７（図１）を介して、ステップＳ５で指定されたメールアドレスに画像データ形式で配信される（ステップＳ１１）。
ユーザーは、ステップＳ９で印刷された画像の印刷物をプリント端末１００から受け取り（ステップＳ１２）、印刷サービスは完了する。
図３は、プリント端末１００において、ユーザー識別情報画像に含まれるＥＸＩＦ情報の中から撮影位置情報と撮影日時情報を抽出し、ユーザー識別情報を生成する処理を示すフローチャートである。以下、図１を参照しつつ、図３を用いてプリント端末１００におけるユーザー識別情報の生成について説明する。
図３において、ユーザーによる入力部６を介しての画像データの入力、印刷する画像の選択、印刷メディアの選択、用紙サイズ選択および印刷枚数の選択（図２のステップＳ１〜Ｓ３の操作）等のユーザー入力が行われると、コントロール部１がそれを認識する（ステップＳ２１）。続いて、ユーザーによるユーザー識別情報画像の選択（図２のステップＳ４の操作）によりコントロール部１がユーザー識別情報画像を認識すると（ステップＳ２２）、コントロール部１が撮影位置日時情報取得装置８を制御して、ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データから撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報の抽出を行う（ステップＳ２３）。ここで、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報の一例を以下の表に示す。

上記の表１に示されるように、画像データから撮影位置情報として抽出された経度（東経）および緯度（北緯）の情報は、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９に与えられて、それぞれ１１桁の数字に置き換えられ、データ化される。また、撮影日時情報として抽出された撮影日時（分単位まで含む）は、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９に与えられて、１２桁の数字に置き換えられ、データ化される。
そして、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９において、経度、緯度および日時のデータを、例えば、緯度、経度および日時の順で上の桁から並ぶように繋ぎ合わせることで識別情報化が完了する。このようにして作成されたユーザー識別情報を、識別情報１として以下の表に示す。

上記の表２に示されるように、識別情報１は、緯度、経度および日時を合わせて３４桁のユーザー識別情報となり、セキュリティーの強弱の度合いはかなり強固といえるが、ユーザーによる入力部６を介してのセキュリティー強化の設定（図２のステップＳ６の操作）がされたことをコントロール部１が認識した場合は（ステップＳ２４）、コントロール部１はユーザー識別情報生成装置９を制御して、さらにセキュリティーを強化した識別情報を作成する（ステップＳ２５）。
セキュリティーの強化には、ユーザーが入力部６を介して設定した撮影位置情報の精度、撮影日時情報の精度およびパスワードを用いることができる。例えば、ユーザーが設定した４桁のパスワード情報を識別情報１に加えることができる。このようにして作成されたユーザー識別情報を、識別情報２として以下の表に示す。

上記の表３に示されるように、識別情報２は、ユーザーが設定した４桁のパスワード情報「５６７８」を識別情報１の末尾に加えることで３８桁の識別情報となり、セキュリティーをさらに強化することができる。なお、識別情報２を暗号化ソフトなどを用いて暗号化し、複雑化させることで、より一層の強化を図ることができる。
また、上記の表ではセキュリティー強化の例として、ユーザーが設定した４桁のパスワード情報を識別情報１に加えた構成を示したが、上述したように、ユーザーが入力部６を介して設定した撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を用いてセキュリティーを強化しても良い。以下の表には、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度の一例を示す。

上記の表４に示されるように、緯度情報の精度を±０．０００１秒に設定することで、「０００１」を識別情報１の緯度情報の次に繋ぎ、また、経度情報の精度を±０．０００１秒に設定することで、「０００１」を識別情報１の経度情報の次に繋ぎ、さらに、撮影日時情報の精度を、±１分に設定することで、「１」を識別情報１の日時情報の次に繋ぎ、合計で４３桁のユーザー識別情報が得られる。このように、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を高めることで、セキュリティーの強度を飛躍的に強化することができる。なお、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度は、両方共に設定しても良いが、どちらか一方のみを設定しても良い。
一方、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を低く設定すれば、セキュリティーの強度を弱くすることができる。以下の表には、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を低く設定することで、セキュリティーの強度を弱くする一例を示す。

上記の表５に示されるように、緯度情報の精度を±１分に設定することで、「１」を識別情報１の緯度情報の次に繋ぎ、また、経度情報の精度を±１分に設定することで、「１」を識別情報１の経度情報の次に繋ぎ、さらに、撮影日時情報の精度を、±１時間に設定することで、「１」を識別情報１の日時情報の次に繋ぎ、合計で３７桁のユーザー識別情報が得られる。このように、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を低く設定することで、セキュリティーの強度を弱くすることができる。ただし、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を設定しない場合の３４桁のユーザー識別情報のセキュリティー強度と比べると、上記の精度を低くした場合でも３７桁のユーザー識別情報となるので、セキュリティー強度は高くなっている。このように、各情報に精度を設定することで、ユーザー識別情報のセキュリティー強度の調整の幅が広がるという効果が得られる。なお、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度は、両方共に設定しても良いが、どちらか一方のみを設定しても良い。
また、表３に示される識別情報２では、４桁のパスワード情報を加えることでセキュリティーを強化する構成を示したが、識別情報２にさらに撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報の精度を加えることで、より一層のセキュリティーの強化が可能となる。
ここで、図３のフローチャートの説明に戻り、ユーザーがセキュリティーの強化を希望しない場合、すなわち、ユーザーによる入力部６を介してのセキュリティー強化の設定をコントロール部１が認識しない場合には、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９では識別情報２は作成されず、ユーザー識別情報として識別情報１が使用される（ステップＳ２６）。
なお、識別情報の固有度を上げるためには、ユーザー識別情報画像の選択（図２のステップＳ４の操作）の際には、公共の場所で撮影した画像ではなく、特定者のみが入場できる場所で撮影した画像を選択すれば良い。最適な場所の例としては、撮影者の自宅が挙げられる。ＧＰＳの精度にもよるが、数ｃｍ〜数十ｃｍ単位の精度を持つＧＰＳカメラであれば、撮影者の自宅の位置を特定できるので、特定の日時にユーザーの自宅で撮影した画像は、ユーザー本人、またはその家族、同居人が撮影した画像となり、他人には撮影できる画像ではなく、偶然に同じ識別情報が作成される可能性を排除し、識別情報の固有度を上げることができる。
ステップＳ２５またはステップＳ２６を経て得られたユーザー識別情報は、図２のステップＳ３で選択された画像データと共に、コントロール部１の制御によりネットワークＩ／Ｆ１０を介して画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードされる（ステップＳ２７）。これは、図２のステップＳ１０の処理に相当する。
また、図２のステップＳ４で選択されたユーザー識別情報画像の画像ファイル名、撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報が、コントロール部１の制御によりメール配信装置７を介して、図２のステップＳ５で指定されたメールアドレスに、ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データとして配信される（ステップＳ２８）。これは、図２のステップＳ１１の処理に相当する。
次に、図４に示すフローチャートを用いて、画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードされている画像データの画像を印刷するまでの流れを説明する。
画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードされている画像データの画像の印刷を希望するユーザーは、ユーザー識別情報として使用するユーザー識別情報画像の画像データのメール送信を受け、当該画像データが格納された携帯電話をプリント端末１００の接続端子に接続し、プリント端末１００の画像・音声指示部２からの指示に従ってユーザー識別情報画像を指定し、その画像データを再入力し、画像読み取り部３に読み込ませる（ステップＳ３１）。なお、ユーザーが、ユーザー識別情報画像を忘れておらず、図２を用いて説明したステップＳ１において、印刷したい画像の画像データとしてプリント端末１００に入力した画像からユーザー識別情報画像を特定できる場合は、携帯電話に送信されて来た画像データを使用しなくても良い。すなわち、携帯電話を所有しておらず、ＣＤ、ＤＶＤおよびカードメディアなどから画像データを入力するような場合には、この方法を採ることで、画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードされている画像データの画像を印刷することができる。
画像読み取り部３では、読み込んだユーザー識別情報画像の画像データから、撮影位置情報の精度および撮影日時情報を抽出し、ユーザー識別情報生成装置９に入力する。ユーザー識別情報生成装置９は、入力された撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を用いて、ユーザー識別情報を生成する（ステップＳ３１）。
生成されたユーザー識別情報は、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１０を介し、インターネット１１を経由して、画像蓄積サーバー２００に再送信され、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３を介してユーザー識別情報管理装置１８に再入力される。
ユーザー識別情報管理装置１８は、プリント端末１００から再送信されたユーザー識別情報に基づいてデータ蓄積部１４内の画像ディレクトリを検索し、再送信されて来たユーザー識別情報に合致するユーザー識別情報を含む画像ディレクトリの有無を確認する。
該当する画像ディレクトリが存在する場合は、ユーザー識別情報管理装置１８は、該当する画像ディレクトリの画像データを読み出し、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３を介してインターネット１１を経由してプリント端末１００に送信する。プリント端末１００では、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１０を介して画像データを受け取り、画像・音声指示部２の表示画面（入力ディスプレイと兼用する場合もあり）に表示する（ステップＳ３２）。
なお、該当する画像ディレクトリが存在しない場合は、ユーザー識別情報管理装置１８は、その旨（ダウンロード不可）をプリント端末１００に送信し、画像データは送信しないので、プリント端末１００では画像データは表示されず、画像・音声指示部２の表示画面には、画像データが存在しない旨が表示される（ステップＳ３３）。
プリント端末１００の画像・音声指示部２の表示画面にダウンロード画像が表示された場合、ユーザーは、入力ディスプレイによる表示および音声ガイドなどの指示に従って、印刷したい画像および印刷サイズ、枚数を選択し（ステップＳ３４）、ステップＳ３５で料金を投入することで、選択された画像の印刷が開始される（ステップＳ３６）。ユーザーは、画像が印刷された印刷物をプリント端末１００から受け取り（ステップＳ３７）、印刷サービスは完了する。
次に、図５に示すフローチャートを用いて、画像蓄積サーバー２００の動作について説明する。画像蓄積サーバー２００は、プリント端末１００からインターネット１１を経由して、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３を介してアップロード送信されて来た画像の画像データおよびユーザー識別情報を受け取ると、ユーザー識別情報管理装置１８において、ユーザー識別情報を読み取り、ユーザー識別情報と関連付けて画像データをデータ蓄積部１４内の画像ディレクトリに蓄積する（ステップＳ４１）。
なお、図１においては、データ蓄積部１４が画像ディレクトリ１〜ｎとしてｎ個の画像ディレクトリ１５を有する構成を示しており、各々の画像ディレクトリ１５は、画像データと共にユーザー識別情報に相当するアドレスを保有している。また、プリント端末１００において、撮影位置情報の精度、撮影日時情報の精度およびパスワードが設定された場合は、それらの情報も保有し、また、プリント端末１００において設定された画像ディレクトリの有効期限の情報も保有する。
プリント端末１００からアップロード送信されて来た画像の画像データおよびユーザー識別情報をデータ蓄積部１４に格納した後は、画像蓄積サーバー２００は、プリント端末１００からのダウンロード要求を待つ（ステップＳ４２）。なお、ダウンロード要求を待っている間にプリント端末１００からアップロード送信があった場合は、随時に対応する。
プリント端末１００からインターネット１１を経由してダウンロード要求、例えば「同一のユーザー識別情報を有するディレクトリ内の画像を全てダウンロードする」という指令が来た場合、ユーザー識別情報管理装置１８は、ダウンロードを要求するユーザーのユーザー識別情報と、データ蓄積部１４内の画像ディレクトリ内のユーザー識別情報とのマッチングを画像ディレクトリ毎に確認し（ステップＳ４３）、一致する画像ディレクトリがあれば、その画像ディレクトリ内の画像データをネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３を介してプリント端末１にダウンロード送信する（ステップＳ４４）。なお、同一のユーザー識別情報を有するディレクトリ内の画像の全てではなく、一部の画像をダウンロードすることも可能である。
一方、ステップＳ４３において、ユーザー識別情報が一致する画像ディレクトリがないことが確認された場合は、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ１３を介してプリント端末１００にダウンロード不可を通知する（ステップＳ４５）。
また、画像蓄積サーバー２００内の有効期限管理装置１７は、データ蓄積部１４内の画像ディレクトリの有効期限を監視し（ステップＳ４６）、有効期限が過ぎたユーザー識別情報を保有する画像ディレクトリをデータ蓄積部１４内から削除する（ステップＳ４７）。そして、有効期限を確認した後は、ステップＳ４２以下の動作を繰り返す。
以上説明したように、ユーザーは携帯電話、ＣＤ、ＤＶＤ、メディアカードなどに格納された画像を、プリント端末１００において印刷する際に、当該画像の画像データを、画像蓄積サーバー２００にアップロードしておくことで、アップロードした画像を再印刷する際には、ユーザー識別情報を含んだ画像データを持っているだけで、複雑な操作を必要とせずに再印刷することができる。
また、画像データを蓄積する期間として有効期限を設定することで、画像データが画像蓄積サーバー２００から流出する可能性を低減できる。
また、本発明では従来のプリント端末に比べ、ユーザー識別情報確認の際にバーコードリーダーなどの機器を必要とせずコストダウンが図れると共に、識別情報を記録した印刷物等を持参することなく再印刷ができるので、ユーザーにとっての利便性が増す。
この発明は詳細に説明されたが、上記した説明は、すべての局面において、例示であって、この発明がそれに限定されるものではない。例示されていない無数の変形例が、この発明の範囲から外れることなく想定され得るものと解される。
なお、本発明は、その発明の範囲内において、実施の形態を適宜、変形、省略することが可能である。

Claims (2)

  1. 入力された画像データを印刷して印刷画像として出力するプリント端末と、
    前記プリント端末と公衆網を介して接続され、前記公衆網を介して前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データおよび前記プリント端末のユーザーを識別するユーザー識別情報とを蓄積する画像蓄積サーバーとを備え、
    前記プリント端末は、
    前記印刷画像のうち、前記ユーザーによって指定されたユーザー識別情報画像にデータとして含まれる撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を取得し、取得した撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報に基づいて、前記ユーザー識別情報を作成し、
    前記撮影位置情報の精度を変更することで、前記ユーザー識別情報のセキュリティーの強弱を変更し、
    前記画像蓄積サーバーは、
    前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データと前記ユーザー識別情報とを関連付けて前記ユーザー毎に画像ディレクトリを作成して蓄積し、
    前記プリント端末は、前記ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データの再入力を受けた場合、前記画像蓄積サーバーに対して、前記ユーザー識別情報を再送信し、
    前記画像蓄積サーバーは、前記ユーザー識別情報の再送信を受け、内部に再送信された前記ユーザー識別情報を含む画像ディレクトリがある場合は、該画像ディレクトリ内の前記画像データを前記プリント端末に対して送信する、印刷サービスシステム。
  2. 入力された画像データを印刷して印刷画像として出力するプリント端末と、
    前記プリント端末と公衆網を介して接続され、前記公衆網を介して前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データおよび前記プリント端末のユーザーを識別するユーザー識別情報とを蓄積する画像蓄積サーバーとを備え、
    前記プリント端末は、
    前記印刷画像のうち、前記ユーザーによって指定されたユーザー識別情報画像にデータとして含まれる撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報を取得し、取得した撮影位置情報および撮影日時情報に基づいて、前記ユーザー識別情報を作成し、
    前記撮影日時情報の精度を変更することで、前記ユーザー識別情報のセキュリティーの強弱を変更し、
    前記画像蓄積サーバーは、
    前記プリント端末から送信される前記画像データと前記ユーザー識別情報とを関連付けて前記ユーザー毎に画像ディレクトリを作成して蓄積し、
    前記プリント端末は、前記ユーザー識別情報画像の画像データの再入力を受けた場合、前記画像蓄積サーバーに対して、前記ユーザー識別情報を再送信し、
    前記画像蓄積サーバーは、前記ユーザー識別情報の再送信を受け、内部に再送信された前記ユーザー識別情報を含む画像ディレクトリがある場合は、該画像ディレクトリ内の前記画像データを前記プリント端末に対して送信する、印刷サービスシステム。
