Description
本発明の水活性化両面粘着テープは、水活性化粘着剤層に含有された水分が、基材を通して水吸収性粘着剤層に移動し、吸水性粘着剤層に吸収されることが必要とされる。このため、基材1としては、できるだけ多くの水分がスムースに基材を通過することができるものが好ましい。このような水分透過性の基材としては、不織布や和紙、洋紙などが好ましいものとして挙げられる。その厚み、坪量などは任意であり、通常、例えば30〜100μm程度の厚み、14〜70g/m2程度の坪量であるものが好ましく用いられる。不織布原綿としては、ポリエステル、アクリロニトリル、セルローズアセテート、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、レーヨンなどのポリマー、麻などの天然繊維、その他従来不織布原綿として用いられているいずれのものであってもよい。
本発明の最大の特徴点であるシャフト側粘着剤層である吸水性粘着剤層2においては、粘着剤として、従来知られた粘着剤に、吸水性高分子を添加、含有させたものが好ましく使用される。粘着剤としては感圧接着剤が好ましく用いられるが、溶剤の付与により粘着性が付与されるものであってもよい。
本発明の水活性化粘着剤層3は、グリップ側粘着剤層となるものであり、粘着剤面に水が付着することで、粘着剤中の添加剤に水が吸収されて液状化され粘液状となり、滑り性が発現するものである。このような特性を付与することのできる添加剤としては、前記水の吸収により滑り特性を付与することのできる水溶性または水吸収性高分子を使用することができる。水活性化粘着剤層で用いられる水溶性または水吸収性高分子は、水を吸収することにより粘着剤層に滑り性を付与できるものであればよく、水吸収性高分子は水膨潤性高分子であってもよい。このような水溶性または水吸収性高分子としては、例えば、デンプン、エーテルデンプン、デキストリン、ゼラチン、セルロースエステル、硫酸セルロース、アラビアガム、グアーガム、カルボキシメチルセルロースまたはその塩、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、アンモニア処理カゼイン、グリセリン、乳化ワックス、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルアルコール架橋物、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸部分中和物およびその架橋物、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール架橋物、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリエチレンオキサイド、界面活性剤などが挙げられる。これら添加剤は、粉末、例えば平均粒径100μm以下の粉末として用いることが好ましい。
本発明の水活性化両面粘着テープの吸水性粘着剤層2、水活性化粘着剤層3上には、夫々必要に応じ剥離シート4、5が積層される。この剥離シートは、本発明の水活性化両面粘着テープが使用されるまでの間、吸水性粘着剤層、水活性化粘着剤層を保護するために用いられるものである。
アクリル酸n−ブチル90重量部、アクリル酸10重量部を酢酸エチル中で溶液重合したアクリル系粘着剤の重合体100重量部に対し、ポリイソシアネート(コロネートL:日本ポリウレタン製)1重量部と水溶性樹脂としてケン化度88mol%のポリビニルアルコール粉末(PVA−205S:株式会社クラレ製)を20重量部添加して、グリップ側水活性化粘着剤を作製し、得られた粘着剤混合物を剥離紙の離型剤処理面に、乾燥後厚みが50μmになるように塗布した。乾燥後、得られた水活性化粘着剤層を、基材となる坪量14g/m2の不織布(ミキロン#805:三木特殊製紙株式会社製)の一方の面に貼り合わせた。
(1)実施例で作製したサンプルを、45mm×280mmにカットした。
(2)カットしたサンプルのシャフト側吸水性粘着剤面の剥離紙を剥がし、図2に示すように、カーボンシャフトの先端を塞ぐようにシャフト側吸水性粘着剤面をカーボンシャフトに貼り付け(縦巻き貼り付け)、2本の粘着シート貼付カーボンシャフトを作製した。
(3)グリップ側水活性化粘着剤面の剥離紙を剥がし、霧吹きにて全面に水を吹き付けた。
(4)水を吹き付けた後1分放置し、グリップ硬度の異なる次の2種のゴルフグリップをそれぞれのカーボンシャフトに挿入した。

(5)1日放置後にグリップを手で捻じり固定性を確認し、以下の評価基準に基づいて固定性を評価した。
○: 手で捻った際に動かない
×: 手で捻った際に動く
(1)作製したサンプルの吸水性粘着剤面の剥離紙を剥がし、25μmポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルムを貼り付け、25mm×150mmにサンプルをカットした。
(2)カットしたサンプルのグリップ側水活性化粘着剤面の剥離紙を剥がし、水を張った水槽中にグリップ側水活性化粘着剤面が接するように1分間放置した。
(3)1分後スキージーを用いてグリップ側水活性化粘着剤面をステンレス板に貼り付けた。
(4)貼り付け面積が25mm×25mmになるようにカットし、12時間室温に放置した。
(5)JIS Z 0237の保持力試験に規定されているテストスタンドにサンプルを固定し、500gの荷重を加え、24時間後の落下の有無を、下記評価基準に基づいて評価した。

実施例1のシャフト側吸水性粘着剤の添加剤の架橋型ポリアクリル酸に替えて、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム(ダイセルCMC1120:ダイセルファインケム株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のシャフト側吸水性粘着剤の添加剤の架橋型ポリアクリル酸に替えて、メチルセルロース(メトローズSM−4000:信越化学工業株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のグリップ側水活性化粘着剤の添加剤のポリビニルアルコール粉末に替えて、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム(ダイセルCMC1120:ダイセルファインケム株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のグリップ側水活性化粘着剤の添加剤のポリビニルアルコール粉末に替えて、メチルセルロース(メトローズSM−4000:信越化学工業株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のシャフト側吸水性粘着剤における添加剤の架橋型ポリアクリル酸を配合することなく、シャフト側粘着剤を作製したことを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のシャフト側吸水性粘着剤の添加剤の架橋型ポリアクリル酸に替えて炭酸カルシウム(重質炭酸カルシウム:丸尾カルシウム株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
実施例1のシャフト側吸水性粘着剤の添加剤の架橋型ポリアクリル酸に替えて、シリカ(サイリシア320:富士シリシア化学株式会社製)を用いることを除き実施例1と同様にして、水活性化両面粘着シートを作製した。
市販のゴルフグリップ交換用の水活性型両面テープを使用し、実施例1と同様にして、グリップ挿入テスト、および保持力テストを行い、グリップ固定性及び保持力について評価した。結果を表1に示す。

- 基材の一面に粘着剤層を設け、他面に、水を適用することにより滑り性が付与される水活性化粘着剤層を設けた水活性化両面粘着テープにおいて、基材が水透過性基材であり、前記一面側の粘着剤層が吸水性粘着剤からなることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項1に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記吸水性粘着剤は、吸水性高分子を含む粘着剤からなることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項2に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記吸水性高分子の吸水量は、20g/g以上であることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項3に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記吸水性高分子が、カルボキシメチルセルロースまたはその塩、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ポリビニルアルコール架橋物、ポリエチレングリコール架橋物、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸部分中和物およびその架橋物、およびポリエチレンオキサイドから選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記水透過性基材が、不織布、和紙、または洋紙であることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記水を適用することにより滑り性が付与される水活性化粘着剤層が、水の吸収により滑り特性を付与することのできる水溶性または吸水性高分子から選ばれた少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
- 請求項6に記載の水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシートにおいて、前記水溶性または吸水性高分子が、デンプン、エーテルデンプン、デキストリン、ゼラチン、セルロースエステル、硫酸セルロース、アラビアガム、グアーガム、カルボキシメチルセルロースまたはその塩、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルアルコール架橋物、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸部分中和物およびその架橋物、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール架橋物、ポリビニルピロリドン、およびポリエチレンオキサイド、から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする水活性化両面粘着テープまたはシート。
