Description
Claims (8)
- 走行方向に対して少なくとも前輪と後輪を有し、ユーザが搭乗して走行する走行装置であって、
前記前輪を回転可能に支持する前輪支持部材と、
前記後輪を回転可能に支持する後輪支持部材と、
前記前輪支持部材と前記後輪支持部材の相対位置を前記ユーザの操作力によって変化させることにより、前記前輪と前記後輪のホイールベース長を調整する調整機構と、
前記前輪および前記後輪の少なくともいずれかを駆動する駆動部と、
前記ユーザが前記調整機構を操作して前記ホイールベース長を調整した場合に、調整された前記ホイールベース長に対応付けられた前記走行装置の速度を目標速度として前記駆動部を駆動する制御部と
を備え、
前記調整機構によって調整される前記ホイールベース長と、前記駆動部の駆動によって達成される前記速度とが、前記ホイールベース長が長くなるほど前記速度が大きくなるように互いに対応付けられている走行装置。 - 前記前輪支持部材は、前記ユーザが把持するためのハンドルを有し、
前記後輪支持部材は、前記ユーザが搭乗するためのステップを有し、
前記調整機構は、前記前輪支持部材と前記後輪支持部材とを相対的に回転させるヒンジを有し、
前記ユーザは、前記ハンドルへの加重および前記ステップへの加重の少なくともいずれかを変化させることにより、前記ヒンジ周りに前記前輪支持部材と前記後輪支持部材とを相対的に回転させて、前記ホイールベース長を調整する請求項1に記載の走行装置。 - 前記調整機構は、前記前輪支持部材と前記後輪支持部材との相対角度を小さくする方向へ付勢する付勢部材を有し、
前記付勢部材の作用によって前記相対角度が最小とされた場合の前記ホイールベース長が、前記速度のゼロと対応付けられている請求項2に記載の走行装置。 - 前記前輪および前記後輪を含む接地部材により前記走行装置は自立可能であって、
前記ユーザが前記走行装置から降りた状態で前記調整機構を動作させて前記ホイールベース長を調整できる操作部材を備える請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の走行装置。 - 前記操作部材は、前記前輪支持部材に一端側が取り付けられ、他端側が前記ユーザに牽引される紐状部材を含み、
前記後輪支持部材は、他の走行装置の前記紐状部材の他端側を係止するための係止部を有する請求項4に記載の走行装置。 - 前記操作部材を用いずに前記ホイールベース長を調整する場合の前記ホイールベース長と前記速度の対応付けと、前記操作部材を用いて前記ホイールベース長を調整する場合の前記ホイールベース長と前記速度の対応付けは、互いに異なり、
同じ前記ホイールベース長に対しては、前記操作部材を用いて前記ホイールベース長を調整する場合の速度が、前記操作部材を用いずに前記ホイールベース長を調整する場合の速度を上回らないように対応付けられている請求項4または5に記載の走行装置。 - 前記ホイールベース長が短くなる前記調整機構の動作に連動して、前記前輪および前記後輪の少なくともいずれかの回転を規制するように回転要素に接触するストッパを備え、
前記ストッパは、前記走行装置の駐機中において前記回転要素との接触を保つ請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の走行装置。 - 前記ホイールベース長が短くなる前記調整機構の動作に連動して、走行面に接触するストッパを備え、
前記ストッパは、前記走行装置の駐機中において前記走行面との接触を保つ請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の走行装置。
