Claims (8)
- 身体的活動のモニタリングデバイスであって:
ユーザが当該身体的活動のモニタリングデバイスを装着している間に、前記ユーザの身体的活動特性を測定するように構成される1つ以上のセンサを含む、センサアレイと;
コントローラであって、
前記センサアレイから信号情報を受け取り、
前記信号情報を重複区分に分割し、
各重複区分について所定の信号特徴を識別し、
前記ユーザが重複区分の間に前記身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいるかどうか、及び、前記重複区分の間に前記ユーザが積極的に取り組んでいる身体的活動のタイプ、を認識するようトレーニングされた教師付き分類器を使用して、各重複区分について前記所定の信号特徴を分析する、
ように動作可能なコントローラと;
分類される複数の重複区分によって定義される、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいる可能性が高い時間間隔を決定するように構成される、集約装置と;
前記ユーザが身体的活動に取り組んでいることが前記集約装置によって決定された時間間隔の間に、前記ユーザが積極的に取り組んでいる可能性の高い身体的活動のタイプを決定するように構成される、投票マシンと;
前記身体的活動のタイプに関する情報を出力するレポータと;
を具備する、モニタリングデバイス。 - 前記1つ以上のセンサは加速度計を含む、
請求項1に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 前記信号情報は3次元の信号を含み、前記コントローラは、前記3次元のうちの2次元の信号を、1次元の信号へと次元を低減するように動作可能である、
請求項1に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 前記教師付き分類器は、サポートベクトルマシンを含み、前記所定の信号特徴を分析するために、前記コントローラは、
複数のユーザがある身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいた時間間隔の間及び前記複数のユーザがある身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいなかった時間間隔の間に、前記複数のユーザから収集されたデータで前記サポートベクトルマシンをトレーニングし、
変換ベクトルのセットと、重み付けベクトルと、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいることを示す閾値を生成し、
前記所定の信号特徴に、前記変換ベクトルのセットと前記重み付けベクトルを乗算して、複数の乗算の積を取得し、
前記乗算の積を前記閾値と比較し、
前記閾値を超える値を、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいる重複区分を表すものとして分類し、
前記閾値未満の値を、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいない重複区分を表すものとして分類し、
前記分類された値に基づいて、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいる可能性が高い時間間隔を表すものとして重複区分を分類する、
ように動作可能である、請求項2に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 前記コントローラは、前記集約装置から時間間隔のセットを受け取るように更に動作可能であり、前記時間間隔のセットの間に前記ユーザが積極的に取り組んでいる身体的活動のタイプを決定するために、前記コントローラは、
前記信号情報を重複区分に分割し、
各重複区分について所定の信号特徴を識別し、
前記ユーザが重複区分の間に取り組んでいる前記身体的活動のタイプを認識するようトレーニングされた教師付き分類器を使用して、各重複区分について前記所定の信号特徴を分析する
ように動作可能である、請求項1に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 前記教師付き分類器は、サポートベクトルマシンを含み、前記所定の信号特徴を分析するために、前記コントローラは、
複数のユーザが複数のタイプの身体的活動に取り組んでいた時間間隔の間に、前記複数のユーザから収集されたデータで前記サポートベクトルマシンをトレーニングし、
変換ベクトルのセットと、ユーザがあるタイプの身体的活動に取り組んでいることを示す重み付けベクトルとを生成し、
前記所定の信号特徴に、前記変換ベクトルのセットと前記重み付けベクトルを乗算して、複数の乗算の積を取得し、
前記乗算の積を、複数の所定の活動の各々を表すデータセットであって、マシン学習を通して予め定められたデータセットと比較し、
重複区分を身体的活動のタイプを表すものとして分類する、
ように動作可能である、請求項5に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 前記コントローラは、前記ユーザがそれぞれの身体的活動を行う反復回数を決定するように更に構成される、
請求項1に記載のモニタリングデバイス。 - 身体的活動をモニタリングする方法であって:
1つ以上のセンサを含むセンサアレイで、前記1つ以上のセンサを含む身体的活動モニタリングデバイスを装着しているユーザの身体的活動特性を測定するステップと;
前記センサアレイからの信号情報を重複区分に分割するステップと;
各重複区分について所定の信号特徴を識別するステップと;
前記ユーザが重複区分の間に前記身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいるかどうか、及び、前記重複区分の間に前記ユーザが積極的に取り組んでいる身体的活動のタイプ、を認識するようトレーニングされた教師付き分類器を使用して、各重複区分について前記所定の信号特徴を分析するステップと;
集約装置によって、分類される複数の重複区分によって定義される、前記ユーザが身体的活動に積極的に取り組んでいる可能性が高い時間間隔を決定するステップと;
前記ユーザが身体的活動に取り組んでいると前記集約装置によって決定された時間間隔の間に、前記ユーザが取り組んでいる可能性が高い身体的活動のタイプを決定するステップと;
前記身体的活動の前記タイプに関する情報を出力するステップと;
を含む、方法。
