Description
Claims (12)
- 身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、ゲームシステム上でプレーされているゲームの拡張として行われるべき1つまたは複数の身体活動の指示を前記ゲームシステムから受け取ること、
前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記身体活動監視デバイス内に含まれた1つまたは複数のセンサを含むセンサアレイから、前記身体活動監視デバイスを着用したユーザの身体活動属性を示す加速度計およびジャイロスコープからのデータを含む信号情報を受けること、
前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記身体活動属性に基づいて、前記1つまたは複数の身体活動の完了に向けての前記ユーザの進捗を決定すること、
前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記加速度計およびジャイロスコープから受け取られる前記データの次元数を縮小する主成分分析を用いて得られた、次元が縮小された信号のピーク数をカウントすることを含むカウント方法を用いて、前記ユーザによって行われた反復身体活動の反復数を決定すること、および、
前記1つまたは複数の身体活動の完了に向けての前記ユーザの進捗の指示を、前記身体活動監視デバイスから前記ゲームシステムに出力すること
を含む、方法。 - 前記ゲームの情報を前記ユーザに知らせるステップをさらに含み、前記ゲームの情報は、前記1つまたは複数の身体活動の完了に向けての進捗によって影響されるのに従って更新される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記1つまたは複数の身体活動を行っている前記ユーザに対する1つまたは複数の現在のバイオメトリックマーカを計算することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つまたは複数の現在のバイオメトリックマーカを前記ユーザに知らせることをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記1つまたは複数の現在のバイオメトリックマーカは、前記1つまたは複数の身体活動を実行する前記ユーザによって燃焼されたカロリーの量を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記身体活動属性に基づいて、前記ユーザが前記身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる時間間隔を自動的に決定する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザが前記身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる時間間隔を決定することは、
前記センサアレイで前記ユーザの前記身体活動属性を表す信号情報を取得すること、
前記信号情報を重なり合う区分に分割すること、
各重なり合う区分に対して、所定の信号特性を識別すること、および
重なり合う区分の間でユーザが身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる場合、管理された分類器を用いて、各重なり合う区分に対して所定の信号特性を分析すること
を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記管理された分類器は、サポートベクターマシンを含み、前記所定の信号特性を分析することは、
複数のユーザが複数のタイプの身体活動に取り組んでいた時間間隔の間に、前記複数のユーザから収集されたデータを用いて、サポートベクターマシンを訓練すること、
あるタイプの身体活動に取り組んでいるユーザを表す、1組の変換ベクトルおよび重みベクトルを発生すること、
前記所定の信号特性に前記1組の変換ベクトルおよび重みベクトルを乗算して、複数の乗算結果を取得すること、
乗算結果を複数の所定の活動のそれぞれを表すデータセットと比較することであって、前記データセットは機械学習を通して予め決定されていること、および、
あるタイプの身体活動を表すものとして、重なり合う区分を分類すること
を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記身体活動監視デバイスは、前記ユーザが身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる可能性が高い、複数の分類された重なり合う区分によって定義される時間間隔を決定するように構成された、アグリゲータをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記カウント方法が、
1組の候補ピークを決定すること、
局所的周期推定を用いて、前記候補ピークをフィルタリングすること、
振幅統計を用いて、前記候補ピークをフィルタリングすること、および、
前記ピーク数を出力すること
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記カウント方法が、
1組の候補バレーを決定すること、
局所的周期推定を用いて、前記候補バレーをフィルタリングすること、
振幅統計を用いて、前記候補バレーをフィルタリングすること、
前記次元が縮小された信号のバレー数をカウントすること、
前記バレー数を前記ピーク数と比較すること、
前記バレー数と前記ピーク数の大きい方を、反復数として指定すること、および、
前記反復数を出力すること
をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 身体活動監視デバイスであって、
ゲームシステム上でプレーされているゲームの拡張として行われるべき1つまたは複数の身体活動の指示を前記ゲームシステムから受け取るように構成された通信サブシステムと、
前記身体活動監視デバイスを着用したユーザの身体活動属性を示す加速度計およびジャイロスコープからのデータを含む信号情報を提供するように構成された1つまたは複数のセンサを含むセンサアレイと、
前記センサアレイで前記ユーザの前記身体活動属性を表す信号情報を取得すること、
前記信号情報を重なり合う区分に分割すること、
各重なり合う区分に対して、所定の信号特性を識別すること、
重なり合う区分の間でユーザが身体活動に活発に取り組んでいるかどうかを認識するように訓練された、管理された分類器を用いて、各重なり合う区分に対して所定の信号特性を分析すること、
前記身体活動属性に基づいて、前記ユーザが前記身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる時間間隔を自動的に決定すること、
前記ユーザが前記身体活動に活発に取り組んでいる時間間隔の間、前記身体活動属性に基づいて、前記1つまたは複数の身体活動の完了に向けての前記ユーザの進捗を決定すること、および、
前記身体活動監視デバイスにおいて、前記加速度計および前記ジャイロスコープから受け取られる前記データの次元数を縮小する主成分分析を用いて得られた、次元が縮小された信号のピーク数をカウントすることを含むカウント方法を用いて、前記ユーザによって行われた反復身体活動の反復数を決定すること
を行うように、機械学習プロセスで訓練されたコントローラと、
前記1つまたは複数の身体活動の完了に向けての前記ユーザの進捗の指示を、前記ゲームシステムに出力するように構成されたリポータと
を備える、身体活動監視デバイス。
