Claims (7)
- 導光板と、前記導光板の側面に交換可能に配置されたランプユニットと、を少なくとも有する面状光源装置において、
前記導光板の出射面側から、前記導光板の端部及び前記ランプユニットを覆うフレームを有し、
前記フレームは、前記ランプユニットを前記導光板の側面に沿ってスライド可能にするガイド機構を備え、前記出射面の法線方向から見て、前記導光板の端部で出射面と重なるように形成され、前記出射面と重なる部分に、前記出射面側に突出し、前記導光板の端部に沿って延びる凸部が形成され、
前記ランプユニットは、前記導光板の側面に対向する面が開口となる形状のランプホルダーと、光源と、前記光源を実装し前記ランプホルダーの内面に貼り付け固定されるフレキシブルケーブルと、前記ランプホルダーの外面に貼り付け固定される遮蔽シートと、を備え、
前記ランプホルダーは、前記導光板の出射面側に位置する上部が、前記出射面の法線方向から見て、前記導光板の出射面と重ならないように形成され、
前記遮蔽シートは、一端が、前記ランプホルダーの前記上部に固定され、他端が、前記凸部に押圧されることにより、前記導光板の出射面に密着しており、
前記フレームのうち、前記ランプホルダーの前記上部に対向する部位と、前記遮蔽シートとの間に隙間を有することを特徴とする面状光源装置。 - 前記凸部は、当該凸部の頂部と前記導光板の前記出射面との間隔が、前記遮蔽シートの厚みよりも大きくなるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面状光源装置。
- 前記遮蔽シートは、前記導光板よりも柔らかい材料で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の面状光源装置。
- 前記導光板の出射面上に、1又は複数枚の光学シートが配置され、
前記光学シートは、前記導光板の端部を除く領域に配置され、
前記遮蔽シートは、前記出射面の法線方向から見て、前記他端が、前記光学シートと重ならないように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に記載の面状光源装置。 - 前記導光板の出射面上に、1又は複数枚の光学シートが配置され、
前記1又は複数枚の光学シートの内の特定の光学シートは、前記導光板の端部にも配置され、
前記遮蔽シートは、前記出射面の法線方向から見て、前記他端が、前記特定の光学シートに重なるように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一に記載の面状光源装置。 - 前記遮蔽シートは、前記光源の光を遮光若しくは反射可能な材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一に記載の面状光源装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一に記載の面状光源装置の前記導光板の出射面側に、液晶表示パネルが配置された液晶表示装置。
