Description

前記工具本体(12)が本体結合穴(42)を含み、
前記流体送出ヘッド(14)が、前記本体結合穴(42)と連通するヘッド結合穴(70)を含み、
前記本体結合穴(42)又は前記ヘッド結合穴(70)が、長手方向ねじ軸(C)と半径方向外側ねじ境界(56)とを有する周方向において中断された雌ねじ(52)を含み、
前記雌ねじ(52)を含む前記本体結合穴(42)又は前記ヘッド結合穴(70)が、前記ねじ軸(C)に沿って延びかつ前記雌ねじ(52)を周方向において中断するねじ通路(58)と連通し、
前記雌ねじ(52)の軸方向断面において、前記ねじ通路(58)が前記半径方向外側ねじ境界(56)の内側および外側の両方に延びる、切削工具(10)。 - 前記雌ねじ(52)の軸方向断面において、前記外側ねじ境界(56)が、前記ねじ軸(C)の周りのねじ外径(D2)によって定められる円の中にある、請求項1に記載の切削工具(10)。

- 前記結合部材(16)がねじであり、前記ねじが前記ヘッド結合穴(70)を通過し、前記雌ねじ(52)に螺入される、請求項9に記載の切削工具(10)。
- 前記本体結合穴(42)の外側穴端部(48)において前記工具本体(12)と、前記流体送出ヘッド(14)との間に置かれたワッシャ(60)をさらに含み、
前記ワッシャが、前記外側穴端部(48)において前記ねじ通路(58)の半径方向最外部分によって定められる限界直径(D3)より大きいワッシャ内径(D4)を含む、

結合部材(16)によって前記工具本体(12)に結合された流体送出ヘッド(14)であって、ヘッド結合穴(70)が前記本体結合穴(42)と連通する流体送出ヘッド(14)と、
前記工具本体(12)内に形成され、かつ前記本体結合穴(42)と流体連通する本体流体通路(44)と
を含む切削工具(10)内のクーラント流体を供給する方法であって、
クーラントを前記本体流体通路(44)を介して前記本体結合穴(42)へ圧送するステップと、
前記クーラントを複数の流路に分割するステップであって、各々の前記流路中のクーラントが、前記結合部材(16)の横を通って移動し、いずれも前記結合部材(16)の中を通って移動しないステップと、
前記複数の流路中のクーラントを前記流体送出ヘッド(14)内で合流させるステップと、
前記複数の流路中のクーラントを合流させた後、前記クーラントを前記切削部分(18)の方向に向けるステップと
を含む、方法。
