Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態にかかる非水電解質二次電池1の概略構成を示す斜視図である。非水電解質二次電池1は、外装缶11、フタ板(トップカバー)12、負極端子13、封止栓14、電極体20、および図示しない電解液を備えている。
以下、非水電解質二次電池1の製造方法の一例を説明する。
正極集電体210と正極リードタブ15とを溶接する際、溶接個所にバリができる場合がある。このようなバリによって、セパレータ23または24が破れる場合がある。また、正極集電体210と正極リードタブ15とを溶接以外の方法によって接合した場合であっても、正極リードタブ15のエッジによって、セパレータ23または24が破れる場合がある。セパレータ23または24が破れると、正極リードタブ15と負極合剤層222、または正極リードタブ15と負極集電体220とが接触する可能性がある。すなわち、正極電極21と負極電極22とが短絡する可能性がある。
非水電解質二次電池1は、電極体20に代えて、以下に説明する電極体20A〜20Cのいずれかを備えていても良い。
以上、本発明についての実施形態を説明した。本発明は上述の実施形態のみに限定されず、発明の範囲内で種々の変更が可能である。
Claims (2)
- 帯状の集電体と前記集電体の少なくとも一方の面の一部に形成される合剤層とを含む第1電極と、前記第1電極と反対極性の第2電極と、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に配置されるセパレータとが捲回された電極体と、
前記集電体の捲回方向の一方の端部の近傍に取り付けられているリードタブとを備え、
前記集電体が前記一方の端部の近傍において折り曲げられていることによって、前記リードタブが厚さ方向において前記集電体に挟まれており、
前記電極体は、前記第2電極を内側にして捲回されたものであって、
前記リードタブは、前記集電体の内周側の端部の近傍に取り付けられており、
前記合剤層の内端は、前記第1電極の最初の折り返し部よりも前記リードタブ側である、非水電解質二次電池。 - 前記集電体が、前記一方の端部の近傍において2回以上折り曲げられている、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
