Claims (5)
- 差動信号を伝送する複数の信号線対を有する通信ケーブルにおける情報通信の有無を検出するケーブル信号検出器であって、
異なる信号線対から伝送する信号の一部を分岐させて取り出し直流に整流して出力する複数の検知部と、
前記複数の検知部からの出力に基づき情報通信の有無を表示する表示部と、を備え、
前記複数の検知部は交流遮断用の誘導素子を介して直列に接続され、当該直列に接続された前記複数の検知部全体の出力電圧に基づき、情報通信の有無を表示するように前記表示部を構成した
ことを特徴とするケーブル信号検出器。 - 前記通信ケーブルは、4つの前記信号線対を有し、
4つの前記信号線対に対応するように、4つの前記検知部を備えた

前記信号線対から取り出す信号のレベルを調整する整合回路と、
前記整合回路からの出力を直流に整流して出力する整流回路と、を備える
請求項1記載のケーブル信号検出器。 - 前記検知部は、前記整合回路から出力された信号を増幅して前記整流回路に出力する増幅回路をさらに備える
請求項3記載のケーブル信号検出器。 - 前記複数の検知部と前記表示部は、前記通信ケーブルの端部に設けられたコネクタ、または当該コネクタが接続される中継コネクタに設けられる
請求項1〜4いずれかに記載のケーブル信号検出器。
