Description
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライト、および任意選択で、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト
を含み、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、鉄(Fe)を含有し、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、銅(Cu)を含有し、
任意選択の1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、鉄(Fe)を含有している、
触媒に関する。
この触媒が1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトを含む場合、1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトおよび1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの全質量の、1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトの質量に対する比は、
0.1〜10、好ましくは0.2〜7、より好ましくは0.3〜4、より好ましくは0.35〜2、より好ましくは0.4〜1、より好ましくは0.45〜0.5、さらにより好ましくは0.47〜0.48の範囲にあるのが好ましい。
本触媒が1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトを含む場合、1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト中、および1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト中の平均Fe量は、
前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、0.05〜15質量%の範囲にあり、好ましくはFe量は、0.1〜10質量%、より好ましくは0.5〜7質量%、より好ましくは1〜5質量%、より好ましくは1.5〜3質量%、より好ましくは2〜2.8質量%、より好ましくは2.2〜2.6質量%、さらにより好ましくは2.3〜2.55質量%の範囲にある。
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、0.01〜10質量%の範囲にあり、好ましくは1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、0.05〜7質量%、より好ましくは0.1〜5質量%、より好ましくは0.3〜3質量%、より好ましくは0.5〜2質量%、より好ましくは1〜1.6質量%、さらにより好ましくは1.2〜1.4質量%の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、0.1〜15質量%の範囲にあり、好ましくは1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、0.5〜10質量%、より好ましくは1.0〜7.0質量%、より好ましくは2.5〜5.5質量%、より好ましくは3.5〜4.2質量%、さらにより好ましくは3.7〜4.0質量%の範囲にある。
本触媒が1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトを含む場合、1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト、および1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの総担持量は、
0.05〜5g/in3、より好ましくは0.1〜3g/in3、より好ましくは0.3〜2.5g/in3、より好ましくは0.5〜2g/in3、より好ましくは0.7〜1.5g/in3、より好ましくは0.8〜1.2g/in3、さらにより好ましくは0.9〜1g/in3の範囲にあるのが好ましい。
(a)少なくとも1つのBEA型構造のゼオライト、CHA型構造のゼオライトから選択される少なくとも1つのさらなるゼオライト、および任意選択で1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトを準備する工程であって、1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は鉄を含有し、1種または複数のCHA型構造のさらなるゼオライトの少なくとも一部は銅を含有し、また、1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト少なくとも一部は鉄を含有している、工程、
(b)1種または複数のゼオライトをそれぞれ含む、1種または複数のウォッシュコート組成物を調製する工程、
(c)基材上にもう1つのそれぞれの層に1種または複数のウォッシュコート組成物を施用する工程であって、乾燥工程が、任意選択で、1種または複数の個々の層のそれぞれの施用後に行われる、工程、
(d)任意選択で、被覆基材を洗浄および/または乾燥する工程であって、被覆基材が好ましくは洗浄されない工程、および
(e)任意選択で、被覆基材に焼成過程を施す工程
を含む方法に従って調製することができる。
CHA型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比(SAR)が約30であり、かつCHA型ゼオライトの全質量に対して3質量%の銅を含有している)2g/in3、BEA型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比が約40であり、かつBEA型ゼオライトの全質量に対して1.3質量%の鉄を含有している)0.475g/in3、MFI型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比が約26であり、かつMFI型ゼオライトの全質量に対して3.8質量%の鉄を含有している)0.475g/in3、およびジルコン結合剤0.1g/in3を含む触媒組成物を調製した。
CHA型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比(SAR)が約30であり、かつCHA型ゼオライトの全質量に対して3質量%の銅を含有している)2g/in3、BEA型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比が約26であり、かつBEA型ゼオライトの全質量に対して2.3質量%の鉄を含有している)0.95g/in3、およびジルコン結合剤0.1g/in3を含む触媒組成物を調製した。
CHA型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比(SAR)が約30であり、かつCHA型ゼオライトの全質量に対して3質量%の銅を含有している)1.35g/in3、MFI型構造のゼオライト(シリカのアルミナに対する比が約26であり、かつMFI型ゼオライトの全質量に対して3.8質量%の鉄を含有している)1.35g/in3、およびシリカ−アルミナ結合剤0.3g/in3を含む触媒組成物を調製した。
SCR触媒の脱NOx性能を、MVEG(自動車排気ガスグループ)サイクルとも呼ばれる新ヨーロッパドライビングサイクルを使用して、一過性状態で評価した。特に、試験条件は、排出ガス流のNOxフラクションが、全NOx含有量基準で30質量%未満のNO2を含むようなものとした。
Claims (13)
- 選択触媒還元(SCR)に使用するための触媒であって、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライト、および、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト
を含み、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、鉄(Fe)を含有し、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、銅(Cu)を含有し、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの少なくとも一部は、鉄(Fe)を含有し、
1種または複数のゼオライトが、AlとSiの両方を、それらそれぞれのゼオライト骨格中に含み、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトと1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの全質量の、1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトの質量に対する比が0.1〜1の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト中のシリカのアルミナに対するモル比(SAR)が、35〜45の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト中のシリカのアルミナに対するモル比(SAR)が、23〜30の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライト中のシリカのアルミナに対するモル比(SAR)が、25〜35の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、1〜1.6質量%の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライト中のFe量は、前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、3.5〜4.2質量%の範囲にあり、
1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライト中のCu量が、前記1種または複数のゼオライトの質量に対して、2.7〜3.3質量%の範囲にある、
ことを特徴とする触媒。 - 1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトと1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの全質量の、1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトの質量に対する比が0.45〜0.50の範囲にある請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 基材をさらに含み、その上に1種または複数のゼオライトが設けられている請求項1又は2に記載の触媒。
- 基材が、フロースルー基材およびウォールフロー基材からなる群から選択される請求項3に記載の触媒。
- 触媒が、基材上に設けられている1種または複数の層を含み、ゼオライトは、単一層または2つ以上の個別の層に含有されている請求項3または4に記載の触媒。
- 1種または複数のCHA型構造のゼオライトが、0.1〜8g/in 3 の範囲の担持量で触媒中に存在する請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の触媒。
- 1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライトの担持量、または
触媒が1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトを含む場合、1種または複数のBEA型構造のゼオライト、および1種または複数のMFI型構造のゼオライトの総担持量が、0.05〜5g/in 3 の範囲にある請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の触媒。 - 内燃機関、および内燃機関に流体連通している排出ガス管路を含む排出ガス処理システムに含まれ、前記触媒が、排出ガス管路中に存在する請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の触媒。
- 内燃機関、および内燃機関に流体連通している排出ガス管路を含む排出ガス処理システムであって、
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の触媒が、排出ガス管路中に存在することを特徴とする排出ガス処理システム。 - 酸化触媒および/または触媒加工すすフィルター(CSF)をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の排出ガス処理システムであって、酸化触媒が、内燃機関がディーゼルエンジンである場合にディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)である排出ガス処理システム。
- NOxを含むガス流の処理方法であって、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の触媒上および/またはその中に前記ガス流を導入することを含むことを特徴とする処理方法。
- ガス流がアンモニアおよび/または尿素を含む、請求項11に記載のNOxを含むガス流の処理方法。
- 触媒をガス流に接触させる前のNO2含有量が、NOx100質量%基準で80質量%以下である請求項11または12に記載のNOxを含むガス流の処理方法。
