Description
実施の形態1.
図1は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の全体構成を示す概略図であり、図2は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の要部断面図である。本実施の形態では、本発明に係る表示装置の一例としてエッジライト方式の光源モジュールを備えた液晶表示装置について説明する。液晶表示装置は、横長の長方形をなす液晶パネル1、及び液晶パネル1に対向配置される光源モジュール2を備える。
実施の形態1では、LEDガード部531における横断面を略長方形としたが、断面形状は長方形に限定されるものではなく、例えば、台形状としてもよい。本実施の形態では、LEDガード部531における横断面の形状が台形状である構成について説明を行う。
なお、光源モジュール2等の基本的な構成は、実施の形態1と全く同様であるため、その説明を省略することとする。
実施の形態1では、支持部材62により導光板6及び反射シート61の中央付近を支持する構成としたが、シャーシ4の底面部42にて導光板6及び反射シート61を支持する構成としてもよい。
なお、表示装置の全体構成は、実施の形態1と同様であるため、その説明を省略することとする。

Claims (7)
- 光源が実装された基板と、端面から入射した前記光源からの光を一面から出射する導光板と、該導光板の周縁を覆う枠体と、前記基板を前記枠体との間に挟み込んだ状態で前記枠体に固定する固定具とを備える光源モジュールにおいて、
前記光源は、前記端面に沿って並置された複数のLEDを備え、
前記固定具は、前記枠体に係止されており、かつ前記複数のLEDが並置された方向における前記導光板の位置を決める位置決め部を備えており、
前記導光板の前記一面に対向する他面に嵌合孔が形成されており、
前記位置決め部は、前記嵌合孔に嵌合される被嵌合部であることを特徴とする光源モジュール。 - 前記枠体の底面部及び側面部の少なくとも一方に設けられた孔に係止される凸部が前記固定具に成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記導光板の他面に対向配置され、前記導光板に入射された光を前記一面の側に反射する反射シート材を備え、
前記枠体は、前記導光板の側面を覆う側面部と、前記導光板の他面を覆う底面部とを有し、
前記固定具は、前記底面部の側へ突出する突出部を備え、
前記反射シート材は、前記突出部が挿通される挿通孔を有し、
前記固定具と前記底面部との間で挟み込んだ状態で前記反射シート材を保持してあることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の光源モジュール。 - 前記固定具の前記基板表面からの長さ寸法を、前記光源の前記基板表面からの長さ寸法より長くしてあることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1つに記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記固定具における前記光源を臨む部位に、前記光源の光出射角度が増す方向に傾斜した斜面を有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4の何れか1つに記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記固定具は、白色系の樹脂により成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れか1つに記載の光源モジュール。
- 請求項1から請求項6の何れか1つに記載の光源モジュールと、該光源モジュールが備える導光板の一面に対向配置された表示パネルとを備えることを特徴とする表示装置。
