Description
塩化ニッケル(1リットルあたり95gのニッケル)と、塩化マグネシウム(1リットルあたり5gのマグネシウム)との水溶液1000ml、およびメタケイ酸ナトリウム(1リットルあたり61gのNa2SiO3.5H2O)と、炭酸ナトリウム(1リットルあたり183g)との溶液1000mlを、80℃の温度でよく撹拌してから4リットルの沈殿容器に同時に同じ割合で注入した。スラリーのpHは、7.2であり、約1時間後に沈殿が完了した。

塩化ニッケル(1リットルあたり90gのニッケル)と、塩化銅(1リットルあたり5gの銅)と、塩化マグネシウム(1リットルあたり5gのマグネシウム)との水溶液1000ml、およびメタケイ酸ナトリウム(1リットルあたり61gのNa2SiO3.5H2O)と、炭酸ナトリウム(1リットルあたり183g)との溶液1000mlを、80℃の温度でよく撹拌してから4リットルの沈殿容器に同時に同じ割合で注入した。スラリーのpHは、7.1であり、約1時間後に沈殿が完了した。
参考例のニッケル触媒の活性と、銅促進触媒の2つの実施例である、実施例1および実施例2は、0.032重量%のニッケルに相当する触媒量を用いて、ヨウ素価56を有する500gの動物性脂肪酸を200℃、20バールの水素圧下で水素化することによって測定された。実施例1および実施例2のヨウ素価−4までの時間を、同じ条件下で参考例の触媒と比較した。また、90分後に最終ヨウ素価を、実施例1および実施例2について測定し、参考例の触媒と比較した。
Claims (20)
- 飽和脂肪酸を製造するために不飽和脂肪酸を水素化するための方法であって、水素と担持ニッケル触媒との存在下で不飽和脂肪酸を水素化することを含み、前記担持ニッケル触媒は、ニッケル−銅合金の微結晶が形成されており、更に、酸化物担体と、当該触媒の重量に基づいてニッケル原子として計算される5〜80重量%のニッケルと、当該触媒の重量に基づいて銅原子として計算される0.1〜10重量%の銅プロモータと、当該触媒の重量に基づいて金属酸化物として計算される1〜10重量%のマグネシウムとを含む、ことを特徴とする方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいてニッケル原子として計算される、25〜80重量%のニッケルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいてニッケル原子として計算される、>30重量%のニッケルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいてニッケル原子として計算される、>60重量%のニッケルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて銅原子として計算される、0.5〜5重量%の銅プロモータを含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて銅原子として計算される、1.5〜5重量%の銅プロモータを含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化物担体が、シリカ、アルミナ、シリカ−アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニアおよびそれらの組み合わせから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒の酸化物担体材料が、シリカであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて計算される、1〜90重量%の酸化物担体材料であるシリカを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて計算される、5〜70重量%の酸化物担体材料であるシリカを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて計算される、10重量%を越え、65重量%未満の酸化物担体材料であるシリカを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、0.1〜50μmの平均粒径を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、液滴に懸濁され、当該液滴が当該触媒の酸化を防ぐために効果的な保護被覆層を形成することを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記保護被覆層が、脂肪性物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化が、100〜400℃の間の温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化が、3〜150バールの間の水素圧力で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記担持ニッケル触媒が、当該触媒の重量に基づいて計算される>10重量%のシリカと、当該触媒の重量に基づいてニッケル原子として計算される>60重量%のニッケルと、当該触媒の重量に基づいて銅原子として計算される1.5〜5重量%の銅プロモータと、当該触媒の重量に基づいてMgOとして計算される1〜10重量%のマグネシウムとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、液滴に懸濁され、当該液滴が当該触媒の酸化を防ぐために効果的な保護被覆層を形成することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記保護被覆層が、脂肪性物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化が、前記触媒を含有する脂肪酸スラリー中で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
