Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の排気ガスの一部を、ターボ過給機のコンプレッサよりも吸気流れ上流側かつエアフローセンサより吸気流れ下流側の吸気通路に還流させる排気還流通路と、
前記吸気通路に還流させる排気ガスの量を調整する還流制御弁と、
を備える排気還流装置において、
前記吸気通路は少なくとも一つの屈曲部を有し、
前記排気還流通路の前記吸気通路への接続部は、吸気流れの剥離が発生していない領域で前記排気ガスと吸気とが合流するように設けられており、
前記剥離が発生していない領域は、前記屈曲部より吸気流れ下流側の吸気通路の流路から、前記屈曲部の曲率と前記内燃機関の最大吸入空気量とに基づいて定まる剥離領域を除外した領域であることを特徴とする排気還流装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排気還流装置において、
前記吸気通路は、前記コンプレッサ側の端部の上流側に二つの屈曲部が設けられ、
前記接続部は、前記二つの屈曲部の間に設けられていることを特徴とする排気還流装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の排気還流装置において、
前記屈曲部の曲率が大きい程、前記剥離領域が広いことを特徴とする排気還流装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の排気還流装置において、
前記最大吸入空気量が多い程、前記剥離領域が広いことを特徴とする排気還流装置。
