Description

開示される中間転写体のために選択されるペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートの例は、ポリペルフルオロエトキシメトキシジフルオロエチルポリ(エチレングリコール)ホスフェート、ペルフルオロポリエーテル酸ホスフェート、ペルフルオロポリエーテルポリ(エチレングリコール)ホスフェート、ジリン酸、還元型の重合した酸化テトラフルオロエチレンのエトキシル化還元エチルエステルを含むポリマー、およびこれらの混合物である。

所望な場合、中間転写体中に、例えば、開示するペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートを含む混合物層の下に、支持基材が含まれていてもよい。中間転写体に向上した剛性または強度を付与するために、支持基材が含まれてもよい。
所望な場合、任意要素の剥離層が、中間転写体中に、例えば、開示するペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェート混合物を含有する層の上の層構造で含まれていてもよい。トナーを洗浄し、光伝導体から中間転写体へのさらなる現像画像の転写効率を補助するために、剥離層が含まれていてもよい。
開示する中間転写体コーティング分散物は、多くの既知のプロセスによって調製することができる。開示するコーティング組成物を調製するための1方法は、機械的な攪拌を含み、ボールミルによる粉砕を含まず、ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェート剥離添加剤/レベリング剤/分散剤を、最初に、ポリアミド酸を乱さずに、カーボンブラックのような導電性要素および溶媒と混合することができる。その後、得られた混合物にポリアミド酸を加えてもよい。
ポリアミド酸のコーティング分散物が調製され、加熱によって硬化させた後、ポリアミド酸は、以下の式/構造
を有するビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物/フェニレンジアミンのポリイミドに変換され、式中、nは約30である。

Claims (17)
- 前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートが、固体全体の0.1重量%〜1重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートが、固体全体の0.1重量%〜1重量%の量で存在する、請求項3に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記ポリシロキサンポリマーが存在し、前記ポリシロキサンポリマーが、ポリエーテルとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、ポリエステルとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、ポリアクリレートとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、および、ポリエステルポリエーテルとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記層に接する剥離層を含有し、
前記剥離層が、フッ素化エチレンプロピレンコポリマー、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリフルオロアルコキシポリテトラフルオロエチレン、フルオロシリコーン、ポリジメチルシロキサン/ジブチルスズジアセテート、フッ化ビニリデンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンとテトラフルオロエチレンとのターポリマー、および、それらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの成分を含み、
前記ポリシロキサンポリマーが、ポリエーテルとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、ポリエステルとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、ポリアクリレートとポリジメチルシロキサンのコポリマー、または、ポリエステルポリエーテルとポリジメチルシロキサンである、
請求項5に記載の中間転写体。 - ヤング率が4,000〜10,000MPaである、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記導電性要素がカーボンブラックであり、前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートが前記カーボンブラックのための分散剤として機能する、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートが、ポリペルフルオロエトキシメトキシジフルオロエチルポリ(エチレングリコール)ホスフェート、ペルフルオロポリエーテル酸ホスフェート、又は、ペルフルオロポリエーテルポリ(エチレングリコール)ホスフェートである、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記中間転写体が、堆積された金属基材から自己剥離し、前記自己剥離が1〜10秒間で達成される、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記ポリイミド/前記導電性要素/前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートの重量比率が、50/49.99/0.01〜94.9/5/0.1である、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリエーテルホスフェートが、内部剥離添加剤、レベリング剤および分散剤として同時に機能する、請求項1に記載の中間転写体。
- pが6〜12であり、qが3〜11である、請求項15に記載の中間転写体。
