Description
車輪のホイールが取り付けられるハブと、
そのハブに対して車両の幅方向内側に同軸に配置された電動モータと、
その電動モータを収容するモータハウジングと、
そのモータハウジングの車両の幅方向外側の端部に取り付けられ、前記ハブを回転可能に支持するハブ軸受と、
前記ハブと一体回転するようにハブに取り付けられたブレーキディスクと、
そのブレーキディスクの両側に配置された一対のブレーキパッドで前記ブレーキディスクを挟み付けるブレーキキャリパとを有し、
前記ブレーキキャリパは、前記モータハウジングの径方向外側から径方向内側へのねじ部材のねじ込みによって前記モータハウジングの外周に固定されているインホイールモータ駆動装置。

Claims (5)
- 車輪(3)のホイール(3B)が取り付けられるハブ(10)と、
そのハブ(10)に対して車両(4)の幅方向内側に同軸に配置された電動モータ(11)と、
その電動モータ(11)を収容するモータハウジング(13)と、
そのモータハウジング(13)の車両(4)の幅方向外側の端部に取り付けられ、前記ハブ(10)を回転可能に支持するハブ軸受(14)と、
前記ハブ(10)と一体回転するようにハブ(10)に取り付けられたブレーキディスク(15)と、
そのブレーキディスク(15)の両側に配置された一対のブレーキパッド(16)で前記ブレーキディスク(15)を挟み付けるブレーキキャリパ(18)とを有し、
前記ブレーキキャリパ(18)は、前記モータハウジング(13)の径方向外側から径方向内側へのねじ部材(32)のねじ込みによって前記モータハウジング(13)の外周に固定され、
前記モータハウジング(13)は、車両(4)の幅方向外側の端板(13B)を有し、
前記ブレーキキャリパ(18)は、前記モータハウジング(13)の外周に固定される一対のベース片(29)と、前記各ベース片(29)の前記車両(4)の幅方向外側の端部から前記モータハウジング(13)の前記端板(13B)に沿って径方向内方に延びる一対の内向き突片(30)と、一対の前記内向き突片(30)同士を連結する連結アーム(31)とを有し、
前記内向き突片(30)は、前記モータハウジング(13)の前記端板(13B)に当接している、
インホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記モータハウジング(13)は、前記ブレーキディスク(15)の外周よりも大きい外径をもつ大径部(13A)を有し、その大径部(13A)の外周に前記ブレーキキャリパ(18)を固定する座面(34)が設けられている請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記座面(34)は、前記ブレーキディスク(15)の軸方向に見て、前記ブレーキパッド(16)を周方向に挟む両側に位置するように設けられている請求項2に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記ブレーキキャリパ(18)は、前記モータハウジング(13)の外周に固定されたキャリパブラケット(18A)と、そのキャリパブラケット(18A)に対して前記ブレーキディスク(15)の軸方向にスライド可能に支持されたキャリパボディ(18B)と、そのキャリパボディ(18B)に組み込まれ、前記ブレーキディスク(15)の片側のブレーキパッド(16)を前記ブレーキディスク(15)に押さえ付ける加圧機構(18C)とを有するフローティング型ブレーキキャリパである請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記ブレーキキャリパ(18)は、前記モータハウジング(13)の外周に固定されたキャリパボディ(18D)と、そのキャリパボディ(18D)に組み込まれ、前記ブレーキディスク(15)の両側のブレーキパッド(16)をそれぞれ前記ブレーキディスク(15)に押さえ付ける一対の加圧機構(18E)とを有する固定型ブレーキキャリパである請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
