Claims (6)
- 携帯用物品のためのディスプレイアセンブリであって、
前記ディスプレイアセンブリは、観察者の側に配置された第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスを含み、
前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスは、オフになっている場合の透明な状態と、オンになっている場合の反射性状態との間で切り替え可能であり、
第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスは、前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスの下側に配置され、
さらに、吸収性偏光子及び1/4波長板で形成された円偏光子を含み、

前記円偏光子は、前記反射性状態にある前記反射性液晶ディスプレイセルと前記オフ状態にある前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルとの間の明暗の差が大きく、かつ前記オンの状態と前記オフの状態とにある前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセル間の明暗の差が大きくなるように、前記反射性下側偏光子と前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルとの間に配置されている、ディスプレイアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスは、接着層を用いて前記第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスに接着されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイアセンブリ。
- 前記接着層は、接着フィルム又は液体接着層で形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のディスプレイアセンブリ。
- 前記反射性下側偏光子及び前記吸収性偏光子はそれぞれ透過軸を有すること;並びに
前記透過軸は互いに対して平行であること
を特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイアセンブリ。 - 携帯用物品のためのディスプレイアセンブリあって、
前記ディスプレイアセンブリは、観察者の側に配置された第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスを含み、
前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスは、オフになっている場合の透明な状態と、オンになっている場合の反射性状態との間で切り替え可能であり、
第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスは、前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスの下側に配置され、
さらに、吸収性偏光子及び1/4波長板で形成された円偏光子を含み、
前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスは、反射性状態と透明な状態との間で切り替えられるよう配設された反射性液晶ディスプレイセルを含み、
前記第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスは、発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルを含み、
前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルは、前記第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスが光を放出するオン状態と、前記第2の発光性ディスプレイデバイスが光を放出しないオフ状態との間で切り替えられるよう配設され、
前記円偏光子は、前記反射性状態にある前記反射性液晶ディスプレイセルと前記オフの状態にある前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルとの間の明暗の差が大きく、かつ前記オンの状態と前記オフの状態とにある前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセル間の明暗の差が大きくなるように、前記反射性液晶ディスプレイセルの前面に配置されること;並びに
前記発光性有機発光ダイオードディスプレイセルは、反射性下側電極を含むこと
を特徴とする、ディスプレイアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の反射性ディスプレイデバイスは、ねじれネマティック方式、超ねじれネマティック方式又は垂直配向型の反射性液晶ディスプレイセルであることを特徴とする、請求項1または5に記載のディスプレイアセンブリ。
