Description
であり、断面層14に接着剤を塗布する機構である。また24は使用済みの中間転写シートである。積層装置におけるその他の構成については図1の積層ユニットで説明示したものと同様である。本発明は、従来の多くの立体造形方式のように、造形途中の造形物上でパターニングする事が必須ではない積層プロセスであり、言ってみれば、同一装置内にパターニング機構を有することを必須的制約としないのである。本発明では、其々の手法・材料に最適な環境で製造した断面パターンを使用することが出来る。すなわち、パターニング手段は、造形物の材料や造形精度により制限少なく選択することが出来る。
また、サポート材18を最初から使用せず、複数回行う積層の途中から使用する事もできる。
実施例1として、図1の装置を用いて積層造形により構造体の製造を行った。
・使用ガス;流量:air;1000cc/min、N2;6000cc/min
・入力電圧:230V
・周波数:10kHz
・処理速度:100mm/min
次いで、インクジェットヘッドのノズルを使用して、インクの中間転写体1上での広がりを抑制するための以下の処方の反応液を、断面層14を形成する断面パターンに対応する位置に付与した。
・Ca(NO3)2・4H2O:50質量部
・界面活性剤(川研ファインケミカル製、商品名;アセチレノールEH):1質量部
・ジエチレングリコール:9質量部
・純水:40質量部
次いで、インクジェットヘッドの他のノズルから下記処方のカラーインクを付与して中間転写体上に構造物の断面のインクのパターン4を形成した。
・下記顔料:3質量部
ブラック:カーボンブラック(三菱化学製、商品名;MCF88)、シアン:ビグメントブルー15、マゼンタ:ピグメントレッド7、イエロー:ピグメントイエロー74。
・スチレン−アクリル酸−アクリル酸エチル共重合体(酸価240、重量平均分子量5000):1質量部
・グリセリン:10質量部
・エチレングリコール:5質量部
・界面活性剤(川研ファインケミカル製、商品名;アセチレノールEH):1質量部
・純水:80質量部
Claims (9)
- 形成中の構造体を支持材にて支持した状態で、前記形成中の構造体と前記支持材とで形成される面の少なくとも一部に転写用部材の表面に設けられた前記構造体となるための層を積層することを複数回行う積層工程を有し、
前記積層工程において、形成中の構造体を支持している支持材を状態変化させて前記支持材を移動させ、移動させた前記支持材と前記形成中の構造体とによって、前記構造体となるための層を積層するための表面を形成することを特徴とする構造体の製造方法。 - 前記積層工程における複数回の積層のうち、所定の回の積層と前記所定の回の次の回の積層との間に、前記支持材を移動させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記状態変化は軟化であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 形成中の構造体を支持材にて支持した状態で、前記形成中の構造体または前記形成中の構造体と前記支持材とで形成される第1面の少なくとも一部と、転写用部材の表面に設けられた前記構造体となるための層の前記転写用部材と反対側の第2面とを、合わせる工程と、
前記第1面と前記第2面とが合っている状態で前記支持材を軟化させることによって、前記支持材が前記転写用部材の前記表面に達するように移動させる工程と、
移動させた前記支持材を固化させる工程と、
前記支持材を固化させた後に、前記転写用部材を前記支持材から除去することにより前記構造体となるための層を前記形成中の構造体または前記固化させた後の支持材に転写する工程と、
を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の構造体の製造方法。 - 前記転写用部材を前記支持材から除去することにより露出した前記支持材の面と、転写用部材の表面に設けられた前記構造体となるためのさらなる層の前記転写用部材と反対側の面と、を合わせる工程を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記支持材は熱を加えることにより軟化する材料であり、前記軟化させる工程において、前記支持材を加熱することによりに前記支持材を軟化させることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記支持材が金属を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記支持材がポリエチレングリコールまたはパラフィンワックスを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記積層工程において、前記構造体となるための層を、被積層面を形成する前記構造体と前記支持材とにまたがって積層する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の構造体の製造方法。
